Ramblings On Turning 22

Happy 22nd Birthday to me lol.

I honestly, honestly didn't remember it until someone greeted me.
I was busy packing for the trip.

My sis was in my room the whole time, watching My Kitchen Rules Season 4 (I'm a diehard fan btw, still looking for the complete Season 1 lol) and I was busy packing. She greeted me after I absently blurted "Oh, I'm 22".

I haven't been in an airplane for 4 years, I haven't been to KL in...9 years.
I won't count 12 hour transit at KLIA as being in KL lol back in 2008.

Back then, I wasn't a girly girl. I didn't need all this makeup and stuff to bring.
Nor did I care much about skincare.

I kinda wished that I was still that girl.

Now I have a lot to worry about.

Prepared. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping.
What I packed:

- Skin79 Vital Orange BB Cream (packed this due to the high spf)
- NYX Luscious Lip Gloss Palette in 'Red Rediscovered'
- essence 'In The Nude' Lipstick
- MUA 'Heaven and Earth' Palette
- theBalm Sexy Mama Translucent Powder
- theBalm Creaseless Cream Shadow in 'Home Plate Kate'
- essence 'Forget It' Concealer
- Holika Holika Stick Concealer (I don't remember the name lol)
- Cyber Colors 24H Eyebrow Pencil
- TheFaceShop Make Me Star Waterproof Gel Liner in THE AWESOME BLUE ONE (not real name obviously LOL)
- Urban Decay Sample Size Primer Potion

I haven't even packed my shoes D:
I might just bring my flats and slippers.

I packed most of the stuff I guess.
Tomorrow I'd need to do last minute shopping for the cats.

Then we'll have a birthday dinner.
I wanted it to be at Swensens but my dad wanted somewhere else.

I would normally be sad but I don't seem to care anymore.

I kinda wanna cry actually.

For whatever reason.

You know that feeling of ageing but don't feel like you've accomplished anything?
Yeah, that.

That's what I'm feeling right now.

I'm not hoping for a perfect day.

I'm hoping for a tolerable day.

And tolerable days while visiting the country I was born in. Or rather, the city I was born in.

So yeah, 22 years, I'm finally going back.

I'm trying so hard not to cry.
Haha.

Do I have any wishes?
Not really.

I guess no birthdays so far can surpass the one back in 2011.
The birthday present he gave me turned 2 years old too...

Ah screw it.
I'm crying.

But it's fine. It's fine :)

Ah, here, I'll share with you this video I made the other day.
It's not the animation obviously, but it's a speed painting I guess.

So, what do I feel like now that I'm 22?

Nothing special :)

That's that.

Take care, everyone!

Happy Forever Alone Day :D

Or rather, as I'd like to call it: "Chocolate Day"

I'm sorry to those I've worried for a few days :x I was a bit reckless and scared.
I hope I'll be fine from now on.
Need to not just hope but be sure of it.

I'm hoping to mail out the prizes this Saturday~ if it all goes to plan.

I kinda hurt my neck from my bad DIY dye job today.

From the front it looks FABULOUS:

From the front. Onleh.
From the back, it's a mix of all disasters.

My mom and sis says it's okay but LIES.

LOL.

I'll just show it because it's funny:

It's like a line of fail.
It's still pretty much orange-brown at the back I think. At the front it's pretty much red. And some parts are actually dyed like hell it actually matches my burgundy wig ( OAO )

I didn't even leave the dye that long this time.
Or maybe that's why it's so uneven.

Btw, this is the cream type of dye, not the foam one.

Nobody wants to help me dye my hair :<

But maybe since I fucked it up so much, my mom might help lol.
Or I shall go to the salon because I really love the colour of this D:

So yeah, did I receive any chocolates today?

Yes.

In fact, I did.

From my dad.

Joy.

Oh, oh!! I found another Calico cat while we're out for dinner before D: it was soooo cute D: and very clean considering it's a stray cat!

Shyni or Fila. Geddit? LOL
What's with me and tri-coloured fur cats D:

They're just so adorable D:

Oh, lol, another funny thing.

I decided to drop by this music store around the area...
I was looking for a nice acoustic guitar for my birthday~

I wanted one with a small body.

So yeah, so the guy in the shop decided to ask me and my sis what we wanted. LOL.
There was an embarrassing moment for me where I actually "eek-ed" when he asked us to go into the room with more expensive stuff.

I thought he asked us to play LOL.

But then I got scared also because I was surrounded by expensive guitars XD

And then I blurted out, "Uh, this isn't what I want" referring to the electric guitars.

"I want an acoustic guitar"

And so he showed us some stuff.
I asked him about the small guitar, it was a classical guitar, with the three nylon strings.

But he said it's not that good lol.

Then he pulled out a better guitar, sat down and played.
Me and my sis were awed until he started singing.

( =A= ) I nearly commented that it was bad LOL.

He asked us if we knew the song, he said it was One Direction. I think it was 'Little Things' but he said it like it was 'One Little Thing' *shrug*

Anyway, I joked to my sis that he serenaded us because I looked cute in my new hair XDDD
"Oh, that's why he sang. It's Valentine's today!!"

I told him I really wanted a small bodied acoustic and he commented, "A small guitar for your small body."

Or something like that.
I'm like what.
LOL

He thought we were gonna buy something but I said I wanted one for my birthday.
I said it's in March.

"Just 15 more days then!" he said.

And then I said "Plus 20"

"Oh so you're born March 20th then?"

And I nodded.

I told him that we'll think about it and left lol.
Was he flirting?
I'm really dense with these things XD

And then after dinner we went to Soon Lee and bought some stuff. By stuff, I mean cat food.

After that we went to Little M and I got my nephew a small Hachune Miku doll.

He's always wanted one.

Ignore why I decided to take a photo of me and the doll.
It's because it's my 500th photo on Instagram :D

Plus my hair looked awesome LOL

Even though I did something stupid last week, I think today wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

Happy Forever Alone Day!
Or Chocolate Day :D

Actually, I'm writing this 30 minutes into the end of it in my country though!

But who cares!!

Take care, if you're with your loved one, lucky you!

If you're not, it's okay :D dye your hair, clean your room!

Good night!

Package from The Sample Store: Hair Care Kit Review

So, my order from The Sample Store arrived.
I'm not saying today, because it arrived in my country on the 9th, and it's the 12th today.

I had my brother get it for me, so as usual, by the time it arrives in my room, the package is ripped by customs.

A part of me was disappointed.
The samples this time around was different. The only reason why I decided to order it was because it seemed promising. It was also a gamble to order because my first order sample never arrived D:

To be safe, I used the Registered Postage thing.
You can see it here.

This is useless to me!!!
I think it promised to be delivered to your doorstep (I guess that only applies to Singapore) and the effing tracking number didn't even work for this country I am in!!!!! SUCH A WASTE.

AT LEAST IT ARRIVED. That, I'm glad. I guess it works more like insurance for the package.

Okay, so. the first thing I noticed was the fact that they RE-USED a box given to them by SaSa, you can clearly see it here:

SASA FREE GIFT SET

I mean, I don't mind them doing it, because they wouldn't expect me to find out is it? lol; with all the stamps all over it. But I did.

LOL you haven't seen the other stamps!
I dunno if it's their fault or customs, but I wasn't thrilled with the way they wrapped the things either.

I usually get these from eBay orders....
I see all these people get bubble-wraps, well, I mean, my SaSa(dot)com packages looked a LOT neater.

With bubble wraps and Styrofoam.

But I guess it should have been me who opened it, at least I'd know how it looks like. So that's okay.
I'll let it slide.

As for the things inside....

Got a bit sad :(

I mean, 7 of the things are items I already used (SunSilk samples) and God, I still have them! Use them even! LOL but at least I know they work. Kinda. I can definitely say the Weather Defense Light Cream works, but I hate the scent, so I rarely use it.

What I wanted the most was the Elseve Serums...and unfortunately for this batch, no such luck.

It looks awesome until you try sifting through them :(
List of the things I got:

- SunSilk Weather Defense Shield & Frizz Control Light Cream x5 (5ml)
- SunSilk Silky Smooth & Manageable Shampoo x1 (30ml)
- SunSilk Silky Smooth & Manageable Shampoo x1 (30ml)
- L'oreal Elseve Nutri-Gloss Light Caring Shampoo x1 (50ml)
- L'oreal Elseve Damage Care Repairing Shampoo x2 (50ml each)
- L'oreal Elseve Re-Nutrition Caring Shampoo x2 (50ml each)
- L'oreal Elseve Smooth-Intense Nutri-Smoothing Mask x5 (15ml each)
- L'oreal Elseve Re-Nutrition Mask x5 (15ml each)
- Palmer's Coconut Oil Conditioning Shampoo x2 (4ml each)
- Palmer's Olive Oil Smoothing Shampoo x1 (4ml)
- Bawang Anti-Hair fall Shampoo x1 (8ml)
- Bawang Hair-Strengthening Shampoo x1 (8 ml)
- SilkyShine Straight & Smooth Set x5 (Didn't disclose the amount)

In total: 32

However in each of the SilkyShine Set, there's Scalp Care & Dandruff Control Shampoo, Straight & Smooth Shampoo and a Straight & Smooth Conditioner. So in actuality it's that, x5. That totals to 15 samples.

So is the total: 42?

That doesn't make it 35 is it.

Honestly I don't know how you're supposed to count 35 samples.

Because if I count individually (without counting the packets inside the cards), it'd be 31.

So, what's up with that?

So did I just receive 31 samples? Or 32 if I count the Bawang one as two, like what I did up there.

Sigh.
I keep getting disappointed.

Is it because I'm from abroad that they don't care to please as much? I'm sure that's not the case, right?
They should as least provide a list of all the samples we get.
That's the least they can do, to simplify things.

Other than the SunSilk samples, I'm excited to try the rest of them at least. Especially the Palmer's one, because I wanted to try that one out the other day. THAT ONE, I was excited to get (too bad it's a sachet sample)

Anyway, if anyone would like to explain HOW to count the samples, please do help me :)

Much appreciated.

'til then!

(Helping out my fellow friend/blogger edit her photos for her layout :) will link it next time!)

-Nisah-

EDIT: I tried out one of the L'oreal Elseve shampoos (the white one) and I loved it!!! My sister recommended the yellow one (...the one manufactured in 2008 LOL) as a good one, so I'll try it out next time.

EDIT2: Meh, apparently I have no choice but to have it registered LOL; they won't give me no for an answer LOLOLOL. ( =w= * ) ah well. 7 days is okay.

EDIT3: Reusing boxes are normal for them I guess, so that's okay. On a side note, I had sent an email inquiring about my lost samples ): they haven't replied. Hopefully soon. Or hopefully the package arriving today is theirs. It's the first one I ordered.

Oh Yes.

Finally finished a toner that expires this month and that exfoliating gel. I have a lot more to go.

I tried out the Sasatinnie BB Cream....it was light. Lighter than my Peach Sake Pore BB Cream!! But it somehow blended okay. Quite sheer for my flawed cheeks ): I miss having smooth cheeks.

Will do a longer blog post tomorrow lol.

I'm considering changing my layout, inspired by my friend :)

I'll think about the layout.

:) make it more....uh, angsty beauty blog looking LOL.

I'm tired.
Was depressed the whole day.

I'm feeling okay now. Partially.

So yeah.

Oh yes.

G'night everybody!

'til then~

Worst Miri Trip Ever

You know what that means~

A Miri Haul~ *sad applause*

Yeah, I've been losing my fire to blog. But yeah, waiting for my packages to get here might be incentive to blog in the future. Also my ongoing battle with acne. I should have a whole post dedicated to how worse my skin has gotten compared to in the past. Was it really makeup? Or adult acne. I mean, It only happened when I turned 20!!

Anyway, this trip was actually for me. To get back my SkinFood redemption card that caused the World War 3 drama with the family. I got it back, safe and sound. With that, I also got these babies:

Rice Concealer Tip in #21 (for my light skinned friend), Peach Sake Concealer in #2 and a Chlorella Nose Clear Patch
Honestly, the nose patch was bought just so I get three stamps lol; it was close to RM60, so yeah.

Did I tell you that my favourite nose pack is no longer available? The cheaper and more effective alternative is no longer available. WHY GOD, WHY.

I am not stooping so low to get Biore again. NEVER.

Anyway, I got these at Watson's.

My Holy Grail of anti-acne picking spree: Nexcare!!
A girl with acne who picks on her pimples needs this so much. Hence the excess.
Also, a Hiruscar Gel! For fading scars....or something.

I'm trying this out. It's a 5g product. Enough for testing I believe. I hope it works, I mean, the one I ordered for scars have not arrived D:
Oh, this is bought at Guardian. Watson's didn't carry it.

It took me a while to recognize it, because the one I saw online was blue :O
The name was different too.

Palmer's Skin Smoothing Lotion

Oh god. It IS different. This one has Cocoa Butter D:

The one I bought, it's....

It smells like ammonia D:

But eh. If it works to treat my KP, I'd do anything. ANYTHING.

Stinky thing.
There you go :O

I also bought April's CLEO. Was looking for SCawaii but my cheap self would not pay RM10 for it, when I know I can get it for RM7.50 at Popular. Unfortunately, Popular didn't have it.

Dammit.

On a random note, I was sick like hell on the way to Miri, even now I feel quite sick.
I threw up like hell also.

Ugh.

Worst feeling ever.

I should rest, but I'm writing this for you~
Yeah right. For who?

( ;w; ) if you like my blog, follow me~

Or not.

LOL.

I'm such a bad blogger. My reviews are half-assed also.

One day, I'll be more in-depth, I promise.

'til then~

The Sample Store

I just made my very first "purchase" from The Sample Store :DDD *applause*

I used the points for three samples that consists of:

- Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream Spf30/pa++ (3 days supply)
- Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream - 50 ml
- The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso Whitening Serum (3 days supply)

I'm guessing they'll come in packets?
But I might be wrong.

Since this is my first time, I can't really elaborate about the service nor review it yet but here's to hoping it'll arrive sometime soon :)

Really looking forward to these samples :) especially the Ginvera BB Cream, because I have this coupon thing I can use for it LOL.

But yeah....

If you're interested in checking it out, here's the link to register:

The Sample Store

By registering, you can instantly redeem THREE samples (2 points deducted for each, so you get 6 points by joining). Your shipping costs will depend on the weight, and your country which they will automatically calculate from your location :)

----

I'm also trying to make a purchase at SaSa...but D: there's something effing wrong with my i-bank.

( ;A; ) it's not showing the real fund D:

Sigh, I really need to call the bank :/

'til then!

-Nisah-

P.S: I have a facial this afternoon. OH PLEASE, DE-CLOG MY PORES!!!!!!

OH MY. Wrong product.

So like, I was very excited to use the Tony Moly "Berry Berry Body Scrub Wash", thinking it was the same like the "Herb Flavor Body Scrub Wash". I only tried the tester to the Herb one, liking it, thinking to myself that I should get the Berry one since it's smaller and well, cheaper.

This is what I wanted, or rather, something similar:
http://www.tonymoly.com.sg/joomla/our-products/body-hair/herb-flavor-body-scrub-wash?vmcchk=1

Oh boy, I was wrong not to test it out.

Turns out that it was the scrub type of things I have abundance of.
Damn.

And the worst thing is, I doubt it works even better than them. I tried a bit of it, quite disappointed and well, I got disappointed again that it's just the same like any other scrub. Albeit, expensive like shit.

I'm not saying it's a bad product, it's just that, if I were to buy a body scrub, I already know what brand I'd buy. It's either St Ives or Cyclax. And to top it off, it offers more product that the Tony Moly one.

I'm debating whether to keep it or sell it off, since I only tried a bit of it.
I'll even pitch in the sample given since I won't use it either way.

Sigh.

So disappointed ):

If only it offered more than what my other scrubs do, I'd be happy.

I'm quite upset that I got the wrong product.

NOTE TO SELF:

Even if it looks the same on the outside, same packaging, offering different variety, ALWAYS ALWAYS, test it out.

So disappointed.

On another note, I'm using the SkinFood's "Peppermint Pore Diet Peel-Off Mask" now. lol.

It's tingly right now, and tight.
I'd take a picture but I unevenly distributed it so lol no.

But if I were to just give an overview, it's like the Daiso's nose pack, although it's not unbearably smelly. It has the same texture on the face but smoother in consistency. But it dries fast too.

Sigh.

I'll just cry to myself.

First Time Working + Tiny Haul

Yes! Today marks the first time I have ever worked for money ever!
(and no, doing chores for parents does not count)

I had a tiring day, it was from 7 AM until 5 PM. Hectic day, but I met a lot of people. Mostly Japanese lol. The elderly. I was luckily assigned an okay task, making sure people got on the right bus on the right time and stuff, escorting them, assisting them, etc. It was also the first time I've ever been to Muara Port :DD

I will post more "in-depth" thoughts on the whole experience sometime soon but lookie what I bought!!!

Oooh, what's inside~~?
I know the plastic bag might be deceiving, but I actually bought something from both Tony Moly and SkinFood!

I believe the Herb kind is 250ml, this is 150ml.
I eyed this scrub since last week, but only decided to get it tonight, the last day of the promotion at Tony Moly. I wanted to buy this to celebrate my first time working lol. Last time I tried the herb one, but I guess that it should be similar, no? I'll try it tomorrow :) This is sold for BND$19.90, normally but I got it 10% off ( which is BND$17.90.

But my first impression is: Is it really 150ml worth of product inside? Because I have TheFaceShop's cleanser in 150ml and it is waaaaay huge and heavier lol.

Peel off mask, FINALLY!
I randomly Googled peel-off masks from SkinFood and well, I found one! Haven't tried but I have high hopes for it. It's not as expensive as I thought it'd be. It's sold for BND$13.40, I expected a higher mark up price LOL. I looked at the receipt and it says 150ml of product and I'm like "What??? Impossible!"

It's actually 120ml lol.

Ah well, I'll try it out tomorrow. I wanted to try it out tonight but I'm too tired, although I know my face needs deep cleansing due to all the dirt that landed on my face from the strong wind this morning.

Lastly, samples from both the shops. Look how tiny the Tony Moly one is LOL
I'm assuming that you get samples from every 10 bucks you spend? For SkinFood anyway. Last time I got two, and it was around 20 bucks, and this one is just over 10 bucks, so yeah. Assumptions though.

Hopefully I won't wake up with new zits but yeah lol.

I had a fun date with the ex, laughed a lot.

Now, I am very dizzy. I think I caught a cold from being in the rain, I hope I'll get better.

'til then!

-Nisah-

P.S: Dunno if you'll find this useful but I asked how to get membership from both shops:

Tony Moly: Spend either BND$80 on one receipt or BND$200 on receipts in two months (I think it's two months)

SkinFood: Spend either BND$40 or pay BND$10 for membership card.

Pick your poison ;3

Oh, SaSa Haul + Revlon Lip Butters!

Speak of the devil!

Another SaSa haul under such short notice!
I thank my mom for this :) she can be so strict and nice with me! Of course, I'd want to repay her soon .

This is what I got :D Or rather, what she got for me:

sasatinnie Sakura BB Cream, theBalm's Face Primer, sasatinnie  Creamy Satin Blusher (freebie)
I've always wanted to try cream blushers!
It's in 03, Sugar Rose (not sure if we get to choose what colour)
It's such a pretty colour :) I love it.
Today was the last day of the CNY Celebration Sale, and I decided to get the primer and the BB cream under such short notice. My mom told me that the sales assistant (Miri Branch) said that the offer is finished, with the free blusher thing, but she brought the flyer with her (courtesy of moi) and showed her the free gift thing that came with the BB cream. Hah, if it was me, I'd just cower and not fight for my rights. Thank goodness for mommy power.

I decided to get the primer because goodness, I have oily skin ): so yeah, hopefully it won't break me out and actually help keep my oily under control. I tried the Daiso silicone primer and well...I dunno if it works or not LOL.

But I'm not gonna use these yet until my skin gets better.

Btw, the primer says that it only lasts 6 months. How...valid is that? And does it start counting to its death from the time I try it out? LOL. So yeah.

That's all from SaSa today :D

----

On another note :)
I got me another Revlon Lip Butter, this time, in Macaroon!!!

I have it on right now, and to quote my sis "How come your lips look so perfect??"
I have to say, I'm taking care of my lips nowadays, but sadly, pretty lips won't look pretty with a flawed face.

I got Cherry Tart last week and have been in love with it since!
I decided to get Macaroon in hopes of a toned down red.

Left: Macaroon Right: Cherry Tart
 It's so cute :D
See? LOL
Weirdly though, Macaroon makes my teeth look more yellow than Cherry Tart does XD;
I guess it's because I've been drinking tea all day, stained it.

We have four out of the eight shades available to us in SEA, my sister has Peach Parfait and my mom has Lollipop.

I guess I'll use these often :)

Hehe.

'til then!

-Nisah-

Love SaSa so much, I wish it was next door.

SaSa.

Had I known you were just across the street to my usual hotel in KK, I would have raided you day until night.
I would give you all my loving, all my money.

I wish I had known sooner.

But yeah, I only knew about its existence sometime last year, through online means.
And it made me decide: Next time, on holiday, I will give my money here.

If I were to make a collective list of what I've bought there, it's not much.

I'm thankful they opened in Miri now.

But yeah, I've bought things there, yes.

I hope today, my mom would buy me something from there again lol. Oh, me.

If SaSa was indeed next door, I would be broke like hell.

Dangerously broke.

But yeah, one of these days I'll blog about the things I've bought there. I haven't tried some stuff so yeah.

Other than me, my sis, mom and my cousin shops there :)

So yeah, I love SaSa.
I love you, SaSa lol.

So much.

Here's the website: (it was unavailable when I looked it up)

http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/sasa/home.jsp

Maybe one day, I'll just decide to order from them if I can't find the thing on land.

'til then :D

Things I need to use up!

You know how I always have this impulse buys when I go to a certain shop that sells skincare and cosmetics? Yeah, it's accumulating like hell.

I have a lot to use up.
And some probably give away or sell.
Because it doesn't suit me.

Cassis Rose Body Mist, Sea White Exfoliant Gel, Bio-Essence Deep Exfoliating Gel and
Etude House Aloe Vera Cleansing Cream
Yes yes, the Body Mist is oldddd but at least it doesn't make me have allergic reaction like that Cherry Blossom one!! Which is unfortunate. I'm nearly done with this so I'm fine.

The Sea White is kinda old, so I don't use it on my face. I use it like somewhere random, my leg or something. The Bio-Essence one, I still use on the face but it does't make much of a difference nowadays. I doubt it removes dead skin cells like it says...

As for the Etude House Cleansing Cream....I just stopped using it because it contains Mineral Oil. I used it again tonight, to see if I have a bad reaction to it. I have a lot of cleansing creams, one from Daiso, one from the Hada Labo (not a cream though lol), the Kanebo sample...haish.

I'll work on using it. I have other cleansing creams too so yeah, I should focus on using one at a time to finish up.

I need to work on using up the first three things before I decide to buy that scrub from Tonymoly.

I shall call this project, 'Project FINISH IT'.

Yeah, finish it, Nisah, FINISH IT.

Snails? ...and allergies.

I went through my third treatment at SkinTologist today, so far, my blackheads are still active. Pimples too I guess. Blargh.

I was sleepy XD (It's friggin huge btw. lol.)

I guess it can't be helped since I'm not using the intended skincare for the treatment :(

Right now I'm using a mix of Suiskin and Kanebo when I cleanse. Sometimes I incorporate HadaLabo.

I have this one nasty and painful pimple on my forehead, my chin and my chest and well, I am not going to take a pic of that LOL.

But yeah, in desperation, I decided to beg my parents to get me The Skin Shop's ''Recovery Solution Cream' A.K.A Snail Cream.

It's so pretty. Gosh.
So yeah, snails. Yum.

It retails here for BND$39.90 at Paloma. The price at the site is SKW35000 (won?) so, I don't think it's that far off expensive!! D: Quite a surprise really.

Site:  http://the-skinshop.com/  (if you look closely, the last shop in the distributor pic is Paloma :DDD)

I'm gonna pay my dad back once I get a job.

Haha.

Well, I'm going to try it out tonight, replacing my Blanchir Superior Milky Conditioner.

I tried it out at Paloma, putting it on the back of my hand.
First thing that I noticed was how cooling it was!

It also sinks into the skin fairly quickly and leaves a cooling effect, rather than a sticky one.

Well, I'm gonna try it out on the face and the pimply areas and see if it helps. I hope it does, I have high hopes for it.

I'll do an "in-depth" review about it once I've settled into it for about 2 weeks or a month :)

As for allergies....

The Body Shop's Body Mist I bought....when sprayed to my neck, it makes it so itchy and red.
Dammit. It's still so itchy, I'm very disturbed.

Are we not supposed to spray it there? ):

Urgh. It's not like I can return it, can I?

( TT^TT ) ah well.

I'm loving my new BB Cream from SkinFood btw :)
I can't make a proper review of it yet due to my skin problems, so I can't really say if it breaks me out or not.

But it glides on so easily and blends so easily I love it :D

Oh and, here are the things my sis got me from her trip :D

A huge bar of 'Sexy Peel Soap' from LUSH. It is so huge. I think it costs like BND$27 (once converted)!! She cut it into 5 pieces and took a piece :)
I tried it out, it left my bathroom smelling citrus-y but it doesn't stick onto the skin as much like my Porridge soap. But I still like it for its exfoliation :D

LASplash SplashProof Sealer :)
I found out today that Paloma sells LASplash (didn't check the price range though), so if this is good, at least I know I can buy it locally :D this was around USD7 I think.

That's all for now :)

De-Stressifying Haul

Although it failed to do so.

So, I got my A Level results today.

And it was bad.

So, after an hour of tears, I decided to drag my parents to shop.

I went to The Body Shop, hoping that they have the Chocomania range, but to my utter disappointment, they don't.

So, I ended up buying a Duo Body Butter in Macadamia (the other normal ones smelled horrendous) and this one is quite expensive. It was around BND30. I had a 20% discount coupon though.

I also bought a new Body Mist in Japanese Cherry Blossom, this had a 30% discount.

And then, from The SkinFood, I got a Peach Sake BB Cream in shade 1. They only had Shade 1 :( but I'm pretty sure I'm a Shade 2 lol. I'll make it work.

I just hope it doesn't break me out.

Anti-Depression Haul

Freebies from The SkinFood

Inside of the body butter.
I tried out the body butter, I quite like it. So far :) smells nice.

I'm so dizzy right now :(

Good Night :3

Mustika Ratu Haul~

 Mustika Ratu Things

At first I only wanted the lulur (scrub) but then in the end I got myself other stuff. They were having a 20% discount and 'buy one free one' promotion, I actually have two of the soaps lol. And me, being a soap collector, well, I thought it'd be nice to have more soap.

Yes. I am a soap collector now. I love soap XD

Well, the feminine wash is to be used by sister......and me. Sharing? Well, not really, I'm gonna divide it into another container or something.

The rose water thing is to be used with a mask (not shown here), I just used it tonight, it made my face itch LOL, I dunno if it was an allergic reaction but there was no rashes or redness. Have to see tomorrow.

I bought a stick foundation that I plan to use as an eyeshadow base. I should try it out tomorrow.

The caplets, it's for acne. Hopefully it'd help.

So yeah, that's about it.

The MR lady recommended some powder and tinted moisturizer but I told her that I need to use up things at home. Yeah, I have two liquid foundations and a compressed powder that I need to use up, among other things. Ergh.

I should list up some things to use up so I try and stick to it.

Thing is, I'm trying to avoid makeup.

I dunno if it was the Maybelline liquid foundation that dried my face up but egh.

Dammit. That liquid foundation is like waaaay light for my skin tone.
Planning on using it for my friend's video shoot.

I'll cake up on purpose, muahahahaha.

Well, I'd have to moisturize my face a lot too.

But yeah.

I used makeup tonight, after a while of not, or rather, first time after my treatment with SkinTologist.

The only orange lighting pic I got lol. I didn't fade too much blemishes, just the one on my chin.

Yeah, this one on the other hand, faded the cheeks and the chin lol. What's the point of lying.

But I think I look thinner now lol.
Ish.

I couldn't eat my food tonight.
I only had like....1/4 of my noodles.

God, what is wrong with my appetite ):

I don't mind not eating but probably this is related to a broken heart.

Sigh.

Death by broken heart please and thanks.

Just kidding.

He ordered me to live, so yeah, let's.

But first thing's first, fix skin, thin up and yeah, look awesome.

Love myself first before loving another person.

Because I loved him too much over my own feelings.

Yesterday.

I was feeling very uncomfortable with my skin condition so I begged my mom to take me to SkinTologist.

They recommended a microdermabrasion/diamond peel because my skin was congested.
I have 9 more treatments left.

They also recommended using Cell Fusion C, the starter kit for acne.
Well, it's expensive and tiny.

I don't mind (actually I do, since my mom paid for it and the treatment) but then don't you just hate it when something expensive, is not functioning well?

The cleanser worked great, I believe so.

But then the thing I was so excited to try, the spot treatment one....well.

The fucking pump doesn't work.

How can I try it out?

I can't even open the stuff.

I tried convincing myself that the product is hardened or something.

But well, nothing's working.

I exploded at my mom today because I didn't feel like going out to exchange the pump.

Sigh.
Don't you just hate it when this happens?

When you expect great from something and it's just not delivering.

Work, dammit, work.
Sigh, really need this exchanged soon. I really want to try it out!!!

But I did have a nice brunch at FarmBasket. Had some blueberry pancakes and a green bubble tea with pearls.

I made a sugar scrub recently and I liked the feeling of it after you wash away all the sugar.
It hurts when you scrub but right now, pain is nice.

I believe that this way, all the goodies from the soap you'll use will get absorbed better.
Just use a nice lotion after that, or body butter.

Here's how you make it:

D-I-Y: ACV & Honey Sugar Scrub

All you need is honey, apple cider vinegar and sugar (I opted for coarser ones):

They're not all organic unfortunately.

Add three big spoonfuls of sugar.

Add two spoonfuls of honey and then half a spoon of ACV.

Mix it all up before adding and extra amount of sugar.
And then you can store it in your fridge for a few days to use up. You would notice the ACV "floating" above the sugar and honey while in storage. This can be fixed by just mixing it up again with a spatula before use.

This won't last you a whole week, you just need an amount to slough the dead skin cells off your body.

You can either use it dry (like what I do), but mind you, it really hurts.
Or you wet your body and then use it for a gentler exfoliation.

Personally, I like it.

Saves me money, but I'd like to try something that's similar from either TheFaceShop or SkinFood.

If you're allergic to any of these ingredients, don't try this out lol.

This can be used on the face, just wet your face and slowly exfoliate.
If you want to, opt for finer sugar.

For me, I like to see the crystal like sugars on my body lol. It looks like diamond.
Haha.

Just pop it back in the fridge when you're done.

-----

On another note, I'll do a review of the microdermabrasion treatment :)
But we'll see of any change.

I'm hoping it'll help my skin since it's so expensive!!!

But they have a promotion right now in conjunction with the Brunei Salebration thing, so do check it out if you're curious.

No, this is not an advert, but I would appreciate if steady money flows into that place, so it won't shut down LOL.

-Nisah-

EDIT: Well, after 6 treatments with Skintologist, I honestly think it worsened instead LOL;
Plus with them selling me expired products~~ HM. Will do a full rant post after I'm done with treatments.

Neglected.

I neglected this blog so much. O WAI.

Well, good news is that I got a new phone so I'll have better pics up :D YAY.

Probably will blog something new tomorrow. It's my dad's birthday tomorrow.

And I have lots of things to share about!!
I got lots of goodies while vacationing in KK.

Really excited about that. My room is flooded with lots of new things, I don't know where to put them :(

But I'll share a look I did today. It ain't much, I took the photo in the dark so really can't see the makeup. it's not spectacular anyway so hm.

Apparently such eyemakeup does not suit me, it's makes me look evil.

So, didn't have many good pics.

It's a cat-eye kinda look thing. I fixed my brows today and overcut some parts lol

I like this shot, as odd as it is. You can see the false lashes here.

Taken after I removed the falsies. I wear glasses and am blind without it.
I guess until my brows grow a bit, there'll be an empty patch that's disturbing. Will use eyebrow pencil on that area lol.

Oh yeah, I dyed my hair lighter but can't seem to catch it on photos very well yet.

'til then!

Hm, should I?

Should I?

I mean, start with that project where you use up your products first before you can buy more things. Project 10 Pan is it? I haven't looked up the details but I certainly need to use up things :D

I mean, since I started getting into makeup, and unfortunately had products breaking me up (I think it was the Clean & Clear stuff :( ) everyone's been blaming me getting makeup from eBay. Well, hello~ I only buy eye products on eBay, and that concealer. The concealer however is innocent, I believe it didn't cause any breakouts except for when I don't thoroughly clean my face?

My problem is that my scars heal so slowly compared to before,so it seems like I have lots of acne thingy going on, but honestly, it's just slow healing :( I never break out on my cheek areas before so I'm really sad when I started to break out there, everywhere really. I'm still trying to figure out why but I'm guessing it's bad diet to blame. I started exercising regularly again so hopefully that'll help!

So, getting on to the project thing.

I have one small toner of Clean & Clear I really don't want to use :I I'm afraid that's the cause. I'm willing to try once more to see if it'll break me out again but, BUT I'm in my pms period so there can be acne coming from hormones too. So it's a bit risky.

I think more than using up products, I should throw away things instead!

You see, I like to keep old stuff and that includes beauty products, which is a no-no!!! No?

So yeah.

I mean, my two older sisters usually "present" me with things they don't want and some of them, are old. They never tell me though :x Jahat (meanie)

I love this tinted moisturizer from Boots, but it was bought in 2009? I should throw that away right?? I never use it anymore but it's still kept in my collection :x goddamn.

There are a lot more...sigh. I don't want to throw all of them at once.

I guess my personal project would be "letting go" of these junk treasures instead of using it up.

No?

It's a good exercise.

There are some mascaras....old ones that I use from time to time. One of them is the one I bought in Japan. That was in 2008 O.O I know what you're thinking, you should only use mascara for 3 months!! But it's not doing anything bad, I think.

But yeah, I'll sort out things I need to throw away. it'll hurt, but it's necessary.

At First "Glance"

So, I tried a little bit of everything except for a few things (MUA Liquid Liner and Waterproof Mascara, nailpolish remover, Nair wax strip) and some I LOVED, liked and some...not so much. Oh and, the w7 lipbalm wasn't for me :D yay.

The MUA Lipsticks:

Hm. I can say they're not as drying as the Kanebo lipstick my mom gave me. They smell nice, not like the crayon-like smell of Nyx Round Lipsticks. It has a flowery scent almost. Of all the shades, Shade 2 is definitely a no-no for me. It was too purple and old looking :/ my sister wasn't kidding when she said it's a lipstick for Mom.

When I compare Shade 7 and 9....I prefer the former. Sadly, without concealing my lips, they barely show on me!!! I have to conceal :( Shade 7 made me seem youthful. I haven't tried 9 with concealer yet. I might use 7 tomorrow for this charity event my school is having. Just a tad bit on my lips. It's orange-pink to me :D it looks very summery. Kinda like watermelon, or just rockmelon.

The lipsticks are fine, just not for my skintone. Which is dark olive I guess.

The MUA Lipgloss:

Love the smell, hate the glitter. WTF. It just ruins it. It scratched my lip D: it's huge chunks of glitter!! it's a colour similar to Shade 7 lipstick. Maybe they'll go well together, but for now, I'll stick to my DIOR Lipgloss!

The Technic Adorn eyeliner:

:D I've only tried the black one but gosh, I love it. It shows up well when drawn over eyeshadow :D a trait my eyeliners never had (except for liquid and gel of course). I love it very much.

The Technic Adorn Makeup set:

Reminds me of the 120 and 88 palette textures, I like the matte black the most. It's quite pigmented. I didn't really like how chalky the blush was but I'm not a huge blush user so :/ I haven't tried the lipglosses but I think they'd be sheer.

The LUSH Porridge soap:

MAJOR LOVE. I haven't finished curing them so I tried a bit of it. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I dunno if it'll do any wonders to my skin but so far, I love it. And when the oat bits just get left behind when the soap melts :O I just want to eat it! EAT IT.

I love the orangey sugary smell a lot.

------

So, that was my thoughts on it, summary of it. I need to try wearing the makeup out and see how to make it fit. Oh, I wish I had unlimited supply of the soap though ;-; the smell is so strong I love it.

'til next time :D

UK "Haul"

Ish. Because I doubt they were bought at the same time.

Well, my sister is studying there and my bro went there for holiday for a week and managed to get the things from her. I had a lot of girly products :3 too bad the things I asked from my bro are out of stock from Superdrugs :( I only got two MUA lipsticks from him.

I'm not much of a lipstick person really but I am using a lipbrush to control the amount of what i put on me. Too red will make my teeth look quite yellow lol; hm, I drink a lot of tea so it's stained.

I am currently using this whitening toothpaste but I doubt it even works!!

So yeah, my sis got me lots of things :) even the last minute Lush soap I asked her to buy.

So here are the items!!

LUSH Porridge Soap 100g

Technic Adorn Eyeliners and Makeup Set, Nair wax strips, MUA liquid liner, lipgloss, lipstick, mascara, w7 Fruity Lip Balm and Royal Jet Set "Girls On The Go" nail polish remover
For the MUA stuff, I got liquid liner in shade 5, lipgloss in shade 5, black waterproof mascara and lipsticks in shade 2, 9 and 7. The Technic Adorn stuff are surprisingly pigmented when I swatched it. I was surprised. I haven't tried most of them but I'm really happy.

My family's not though. My skin's been quite bad really. I'm trying my best to keep it makeup free. I probably blame all the old makeup :( I just threw some away today. It's hard for me, being quite a hoarder. But I braved myself and did it.

I dunno, it's nearly that time of the month so....maybe that's why my skin's been bad. I've been drinking Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) with warm water for 2 days. I like it. Quite be detoxing my body so hence my skin's been pretty bad. I've been on a healthier skincare regime really.

Today, I made an ACV + water + green tea toner. After I used it, I think my present acne got inflamed for a while. I dunno. It just turned red. Maybe it's cleansing it. Maybe. I'm not sure.

I personally hope it works.

Actually I've been taking ACV for another skin problem I have. Mom doesn't seem to take it seriously but it's genetic. I have KP, ever since I reached my teens.

It's really eaten up my confidence and stuff for years, plus...I'm quite chubby :(

I have started exercising again though. Paired with the diluted ACV, I hope I'll get healthier in the long run.

I'm really trying hard. But PMSing, I've been eating like I've been starved for days!!!

I avoided milk :( hoping it'll lessen acne.

I dunno. Sigh. I just hope my redness is just from the ACV working its magic. If not, I really want to see a dermatologist.

Cyclax?

So, today was my English Literature exam. And it sucked. One more written paper left. It's also English Literature. It's saddening for me since it's always been one of my stronger subjects...but I disappointed myself today. Like, seriously disappointed. I'm not even expecting a C. I just couldn't write tangible sentences that made sense. Really. It was as if I was stupid and couldn't write.

But, immediately after the exam, I went to The Mall with my mom, sister and my two baby fruits (niece and nephew), for lunch and for playtime. I was depressed really, food was the answer, unfortunately.

But then I also got sick of food so I might as well exercise after this.

I bought another Cyclax product from Winmark. This time, it's a face mask. It's a 'Lavender & Tea Tree Clarifying Face Mask'. I was shocked that I didn't notice this before. So far, my St Ives mask isn't working as well, sucks as a spot treatment...it does help somewhat but I need more time before I can review it. Trying to get my face into shape first before I can judge.

Sorry for the bad quality pic ;-;

I haven't tried it. It smells like lavender of course, mixed with a somewhat oily smell from the tea tree. I bought it for BND$4.50 (n.p BND$5.00) so I'm assuming there's a sale? lol; last time, it was also like that though. Ah well, not complaining.

I might try this tonight and pray that it won't break me out. It's nearly that time of the month and I'm breaking out from it. Plus, I had cereal for dinner last night...woke up with tiny bumps. Hopefully they're harmless.

Ever since I started using the Biore Acne Cleanser, I noticed that acne stayed at bay where it makes sense (as in period acne? lol hormonal acne I guess), scars are diminishing VERY slowly.....but then recently I've only just washed my face, no toner, no moisturizer. I just treat my acne with NEXCARE Acne Patch. From time to time I do pop them though...when NEXCARE failed.

Anyway, this mask 're-balances excess oils, de-toxifies & clarifies, cleans & freshens'. I hope it lives up to its claim. So far, the two Cyclax items I've tried...well, they're pleasant but they don't do anything different. I mean, I'm not allergic or anything but they're body care, not face care. So this is my first Cyclax face care item.

I hope it works somehow. So that when I finish my St Ives clay mask, I don't have to hunt it down. This is a cheaper alternative. So I'm really hoping that it does my skin wonders.

We'll see. Even if it doesn't work, I just hope it doesn't break me out!!!!

So far, Cyclax has been pleasant. I don't want it to be my enemy.

Okay then!
