Review: MUA Undress Me Too Palette

Hi guys :D
It's time for another review!

This time, it's going to be about the MUA Undress Me Too Palette!

MUA Undress Me Too

I received this palette as a giveaway prize from Ka Sheila and I was really stoked. I used to have the Undressed Palette too, but I decided to sell it to my friend because I figured that I wouldn't use it. I originally wanted that one because I didn't want to buy the Naked palette.

Anyway, talking about this palette...I know I have the Naked 2, but I still didn't want to use that. When I won this, I decided to use this instead lol.

If you want an in-depth review, with product and price breakdowns, feel free to read them on my other review of the MUA Heaven and Earth Palette.

Back of palette.
What changed compared to the Heaven and Earth is the inclusion of shade names. This was in the Undressed Palette too, although with no individual names (just shade 1, shade 2, etc.) They also include a mini master class which can be helpful for beginners. Also, obviously, it's white.

I'm a bit pissed because even with editing, somehow the colours are greyer.
Just imagine the first pic blended with this? lol
Anyway, I'm sort of indifferent to the mattes in this palette. I really prefer the shimmer shades. The two mattes on the first row are okay, mostly for blending. It feels smooth, not at all harsh or hard BUT Corrupt is another story. It's a bit patchy and it feels so rough. Kinda like sandpaper o.o !

Thankfully it doesn't feel like that when used on the eyes.

Standout shades for me are Devotion, Fiery and Exposed. I like Obsessed but it applies lighter than how it looks in the pan.

Here are the swatches. All shimmer shades are swatched once, the mattes are swatched 2-3 times.

Swatches of the top row.
L: Without Flash
R: With Flash
Corrupt really reminds me of Sleek's Au Naturel's 'Noir'. The texture is the same, but Corrupt is a lot darker.

Swatches of the bottom row.
Honestly I think I prefer my Heaven and Earth, but I do like using this palette.
I use it a lot more recently, and I like to use Devotion or Fiery, and darken the outer-v with Obsessed.

These shadows were also easy to blend, can be used easily with a sponge-tip applicator and non-synthetic brushes. They apply without primer quite vibrantly, however, it fades in 2 hours and creases a bit. So definitely wear a primer with it!

How does it compared to Naked 2?
I don't know.

Not yet.
I'm tempted to take out my Naked 2, still tempted, but haven't done it.

Overall, I think it's a good palette.

---

PROS:

- Affordable.
- The shades are wearable and pigmented.
- Compliments most skintones.
- A good neutral palette.
- Applies vibrantly without primer, should work well on dry eyelids.
- Travel-friendly.

CONS:

- Not easily available locally.
- No mirror (for me it's not a problem, but for some people it is)
- Packaging is kinda cheap.
- The matte shades are so sheer and the matte black is like sandpaper.
- Fades easily and prone to creasing on oily lids.

Rating: 4/5 (slightly lower compared to the other palette)

Will I buy this again?

No, just because I have Naked 2.

Do I recommend this?

It's okay to have in your collection, but if you already have the Urban Decay one, maybe you shouldn't buy this. I think it's quite travel-friendly though and I do like it for that. There is a new dupe from Coastal Scents that you might just like though! It's called the Revealed Palette.

Where can you buy this?

You can buy palettes like these at MUA's website.
They ship internationally.

Hope you found this helpful!
I'm trying my best to show good swatches, I hope it looks okay.

'til then take care!

The Naked 3 Debate (Discovering a Fake)

Sorry for not blogging too much, I lost the net for a while.
Actually, the router died.

Anyway, back to the blogpost:
It's more like debating with myself if I really wanna get it or not.

Seriously though, the more reviews come out, the more indifferent I am with it lol.
It looks pretty, it looks wearable, but I don't think it's anything I need.

Picture from Urban Decay
Look at the pretty wearable colours!
Maybe, like what my cousin said, it might be a deal-breaker if I actually get to swatch it in person, touch it, feel it, you know. She might be able to do that, lol, so I'm waiting for the verdict from her.

But honestly, I feel like most of the colours would disappear on my lids
( > < )

Well, technically, I got to touch it.
Tonight.

A fake one lol.

At a stall. It was sold for BND23. You might have seen it around.

The colours were so off though.

*EDIT: I think they have remade it to follow the original Naked 3, be warned!*

How. What.
Picture taken from a wholesale site.
The box is a lot different I believe, but they got the palette packaging quite close, the names were correct too I believe.

HOW.

Urban Decay packages stuff in China right?
Is that why?

To be honest, the shades on this fake one is a lot more interesting though lol.
It has more balance LOL.

Don't you think so?

The 3rd one is too pink.
Which is so funny.

I dunno if I can swatch the fake one at the stall but eh.

( '_' ) I will just continue to stare at my Naked 2 and debate whether I should use it or not yet.
It's an ongoing debate.

I might just put it in a time capsule.

Hopefully more reviews will be up soon :D

Wish me luck!

OH, there's a giveaway going on at SpRiNkLe RaiN!
Why don't you guys check it out :D

She's an awesome blogger :3

So yeah, what do you think about the Naked 3? Are you debating like me still?
Just gonna pass it? I might.

'til then, take care!

Review: SkinFood Tomato Sun Cream SPF 36 PA++

Hi guys!
Have you checked out my latest Miri Haul? You can check it out here.

Anyway, today I have a review for you!
This is a review of SkinFood's Tomato Sun Cream with SPF 36 PA++.

Tomato Sun Cream SPF 36 PA++

PRODUCT INFORMATION
A sunscreen cream containing tomato extract rich in lycopene and various organic acids to protect skin from UV rays. It simultaneously blocks both UVA and UVB rays that cause premature aging of skin. * Use: 15-20 minutes before going outside, apply to exposed areas such as face, neck, arms and legs, avoiding eye areas. If outside for extended period of time, reapply as needed.
This sunscreen contains 50ml of product and comes in a convenient squeeze tube. It it made in Korea. There is another variant for this that has an added wrinkle care. You can buy this at SkinFood, I got mine at Miri. The price is RM39.50, I'm not sure about the price in Brunei.

The back of the sunscreen.
Unfortunately the ingredients are in Korean.
*LOST HALF OF THIS FUCKING BLOGPOST BECAUSE SOMEBODY JUST HAD TO RESET THE NET WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. MIGRAINE RIGHT NOW*

Let's try this again.

I've been using this since last year, on and off, since I got it. Recently though, I've started incorporating it into my makeup routine (especially when I don't need much coverage) with some concealer and translucent or tinted powder.

When I bought this initially, it was mainly to prevent my acne scars from darkening. I wasn't very dedicated to that because it really felt weird. But nowadays, I learn to appreciate this sunscreen more because it is not sticky at all!

As with most sunscreen, it is white, with a slight bluish tint.
It has a typical sunscreen scent with a hint of tomato, and to me, it's not really something offensive. Once blended well, it just leaves a slight white cast (more noticeable on the face than on the hand) and it moisturises a little (so don't make the mistake like me and mixing it with a non-SPF BB cream x.x) so that's kinda good. It leaves your skin soft.

After blending it out.
It also doesn't break me out, which is a huge plus! I'm not really brave enough to try other sunscreens in the mean time, so if I run out of this, I might get the same one! Unless you guys have suggestions on some products.

The price isn't something that motivates me to buy it I guess, if it's not on sale or something. For a sunscreen, I guess it's a bit pricy.

Overall though, it's a good product.

---

PROS:

-Locally available.
-Blends in easily and leaves a soft feeling.
-Smells pleasant.
-A little goes a long way and there's a lot of product.
-Convenient packaging.
-Does not clog pores.
-Does not break me out.

CONS:

-Can leave your skin very oily (but I guess that's normal?)
-Pricy.
-Not waterproof.
-Ingredients are in Korean.
-Might not mix with a foundation or a BB cream well.

Rating: 3.5/5 (I love it but it can be replaced, maybe)

Will I buy this again?

Maybe. I do like it enough to repurchase it, but I can easily try something cheaper.

Do I recommend this?

Yes, if you wanna try it out.

Where can you find this?

Locally at SkinFood stores.
You can also find it online I think.

Hopefully you found this helpful.

'til then, take care!

Another Miri Haul 。◕‿◕。 (With a Story)

Hi guys!
Yesterday I went to Miri with my parents to make new lenses for my glasses (my degree went WAYYY down) so yeah. I didn't plan on buying a lot of makeup, honest! I just planned to get only the two things I booked...but I'll explain in a bit why I went ahead and bought a lot of...something.

I didn't sleep the night before so I just went and prepped myself in the morning, threw on some weird clothes combination (I don't mind how I look but people a.k.a my sister usually says something if it looks too off). I also stupidly went ahead and wore contacts because I thought I'd be without my glasses for the whole day (ended up removing them in the car when I wanted to sleep).

I ended up not wearing them at all when I arrived at Miri because it only takes 30 minutes for my new lenses LOL. I walked around blind the whole time.

I never realised how long my face was, maybe it's the lack of glasses and the hair.
I stupidly decided to use a sunscreen WITH a non-SPF BB-cream. Wrong move. My face melted. Everything smeared---it was horrible.

Buy hey, I loved my brows!

Just something comfy on.
I was testing out some products to review too. One of them passed with flying colours~ but I can't review it just yet!

So yeah, when we reached Miri, at the money exchange, I had a small accident.

Papercut Accident.
That's my blood on the floor, all smeared. There was a lot of blood from a tiny papercut (which I can still recall in my head). I guess due to it being at the tip of my finger, there was just a lot of red and it HURT. I can still hear the sound the paper made as it sliced through my finger...it was loud o(;△;)o

When I was still without glasses, I went ahead and bought some magazines. It was hard to kinda squint all the time.

Haven't finished reading them.
Anyway, I was left alone most of the time to finish a lot of errands for my sis. I was supposed to get her some stuff she needs for her business, so yeah.

During lunch, I went to Watsons and grabbed some stuff because I realized then how dry and patchy my undereye was! I needed a moisturising concealer, ASAP!

Not pictured is a body brush!
From Watsons I got:

- Watsons Square Puffs
- Simple Regeneration Age-Resisting Eye Cream
- Maybelline "Pure.Concealer" Mineral Healthy Natural Concealer in '01 Light' (it's really the name, Japanese version)
- SilkyGirl Skin Perfect Liquid Concealer in '02 Natural'
- Garnier BB Eye Roll-on in 'Natural'

I know, I went a bit crazy with the concealers but I honestly don't have many that are moisturising enough! They were mostly affordable though, especially with the sale going on!

I might open the Garnier one first and hope it works!

OH, btw, when I went out of Watsons, the fucking thing beeped on me! I had to like just hand over my stuff even though I know I paid for it. I HATE Watsons security thing, it always beeps for whatever reason! UGH.

ヽ(#`Д´)ノ

I know I didn't steal anything so I just waited impatiently for my stuff :/
Sigh.

After that I went to have lunch with my parents. I had chicken parmigiana from Secret Recipe. I wasn't very hungry but I finished the chicken.

I went to SaSa next, to get my booked stuff. I had to fight myself and not go into TheFaceShop and Tony Moly this time, it was so hard.

At SaSa, I asked for my stuff lol.
They got the foundation wrong but luckily they have it in-stock.

Whee~
I got:

- theBalm Balm Voyage LE Palette (and a mini Stainiac for free)
- Revlon Colorstay for Oily/Combination skin in '310 Warm Golden'
- Kate Stick Concealer in 'Natural Beige'

I asked for a moisturising concealer for the under-eye and as expected, they lead me to theBalm. I have had my eyes on the TimeBalm Concealer, yes, but I didn't think it was moisturising for me right now. I think I might get it, one day, once I finish a lot of my concealers lol. But when she suggested the Kate one, I really liked it! It was quite nice and easily blended.

I also removed most of my makeup wish list items on my wish list page because a friend suggested I should do that because I have a lot of makeup.

As for the foundation, I really wanna try it but I think I can try and not do so, yet. I hope I can do more foundation/BB cream reviews for you guys! I think I might re-take all the photos for reviews, or at least add swatches on my lips or eyes or face LOL.

Also got some clothes.
One of them is too small for me, at least it's too small for my bum area. I'm quite chubby and I've been doing squats...I don't think it helped. Losing fat on my legs would make it fit well I guess. I'm talking about the pale mint thing in the middle. I don't know what it's called...

I've been wearing the headscarf a lot when I go out so the clothes I picked might not suit such a thing. When I go to Miri I don't use it, I try to, but my head hurts a lot if I travel too far.

Last but not least, I got:

My Kribit a.k.a Mr Doorstop.
I shared the story on my Instagram but yeah, basically I was confused as to why he's heavy but bought him anyway, until I saw on the receipt that he's a doorstop.

A fluffy doorstop.

Ah well.

There were also some items from Super Save but it's really small things.

That's it!

I will post a collective haul for November I believe because look, it's DECEMBER XD

OHGOSH.

It's December.
I have no more time to think, I need to decide.

'til then, take care!

-Nisah-

P.S: Oh btw, I saw the "new" Maybelline Dream line and swatched them, didn't like it very much, so I didn't get it. It was quite affordable though. I wish they brought in the concealer too!
