What I've Been Eating...

Yes. Kind of a random blogpost but even though I have a lot to be written (reviews and stuff, I'm so sorry) but I wanna share what I've been eating. Kinda obsessing on some of the food I've been whipping up.

They're easy as pie to make too. Or at least, prepare.

I'm using photos from my Instagram (because I'm that boring and I post photo food okay. Don't judge.) because it's more convenient.

Okay, this is something I've been obsessing (and I have two in my fridge right now!):

AVOCADOS!

Yummy, mushy, fatty green thingies!
Honestly, I can live on these things now.
Avocado mixed with Tabasco.
Eaten on its own or with bread/crackers.

They're just perfect and I love them.

Unfortunately they're kinda pricy.
They cost a dollar something each, a grapefruit is cheaper dammit.

And I hate grapefruits.

I think my soulmate is really avocado.
Actually, it's supposed to be this yogurt that comes from Germany.
THAT is my soulmate. Or was.

Moving on, I do eat out a lot.
Sometimes, a bit too much.

But I don't take many photos of it.

Wait. I do have a photo of bibimbap...I didn't upload that on Insta but whatever.

Pondok Sari Wangi Ayam Penyet
This, ladies and gentlemen, is basically one of the yummiest ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken) that I still prefer even until today. Yes, the sambal is friggin' spicy but the chicken is to DIE FOR.

But I do like ayam penyet from Waroeng Penyet too.

Okay, I do have ultimate cheat days like pizza too.
Pizza from Capers are my go-to ones. Coz it's cheap and yummy (to me).
Healthier too.

YUM, PIZZA.
I had some sushi from Excapade some other day too...that's when I gained weight. Didn't even eat a lot. Damn.

OH, I made some miso soup :D
It was actually quite easy to make.

As long as you have the miso paste, you're set.

Filling diet soup.
I haven't really lost weight counting calories, I'm better off exercising to be honest.
But it amazes me when I eat without indulging in too much unnecessary food, but still get full.

Everyday is cheatday.
I will not eat ice cream from Jollibee again.
It was sickly sweet.

Starting the other day, I actually tried to tone down what I'm eating and controlled my food.

I believe they're healthy...but I might be wrong.

Tuna with cayenne peppers and fresh tomatoes.
I loved this one.
I actually got full from eating half of it only :x

Egg lightly fried, with processed cheese (yes, judge me) and cayenne pepper and teriyaki sauce.
With saltine crackers.
This was awesomely good.
Seriously.

For dinner I had this...

Couscous with a bit of parmesan cheese, fresh tomatoes and steamed carrots in teriyaki sauce.
With two smoked chicken frankfurters.
'twas good and filling and yummy and not so unhealthy.
Not so.

Ish.

Parents had some ambuyat.
And for dessert~
I prepared this bad boy.

Vanilla ice cream with fresh bluberries, sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon powder.
IT WAS AWESOME.

Ugh.

( ;-; ) I really wanna have a romantic dinner with someone at home.
I can cook okay, I'm really good at cooking chicken breasts lol.

None of the things I've made in recent times are inedible :D
ACHIEVEMENT.

So, any takers?
Romantic dinner?

I'll use my trusty original recipes yeah.

'til then, take care.

EAT.

Review: Etude House Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss

Hi guys :D
Today I have a quick review of my favourite lip glosses at the moment:
They are the Etude House Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss.

I have them in the shades #11 Chai Tea Latte and #12 Strawberry Banana Latte.
It comes in 16 shades and contains 5g of product.

Top: #11 Chai Tea Latte
Bottom: #12 Strawberry Banana Latte
These lip glosses I believe are discontinued now, but can be found locally still at Etude House. I think they still sell these, but I didn't really pay attention if they did or not. If I'm not mistaken, I got these on a clearance, so it's BND5.90 each. I don't know the real price though.

I'm not much of a lip gloss junkie, but I do use them from time to time. I only have FIVE lip glosses. Can you believe that?

Well, I think so anyway.

What I find unique about this lip gloss is the applicator.

You can't see it well but you can at least see the texture no?
Just like what the name suggests, it's a rolling applicator! Rolling? What?

Let's zoom in.
When you apply this on your lips, it will roll on it. Actually, it rotates LOL. I find this convenient and also kind of a disadvantage too. I find the concept cute.

I think the idea is for you to be able to apply it evenly on your lips by just moving it lightly which is kinda fun, but I find that it can get over your natural lip line quite easily due to its shape. I think those with small lips might find this hard to work with.

Both colours swatch quite opaque actually. It's not a lip stick in a lip gloss form, but it's pigmented enough that you can wear it on its own. Well, maybe not the Chai Latte (it's more nude-ish), but I can wear Strawberry Banana Latte as it is.

Chai Latte has golden shimmers in it and works well with any lip colour.
The product has a light strawberry scent to me, and I swear I can smell banana in shade #12!!
It's not unpleasant, and I quite enjoy it actually.

As for the texture....it's sticky. I thought it was horrible sticky until quite recently.
I have found a more stickier, almost glue-like gloss.

I mean it.

I don't mind the sticky texture, it's not like I'm gonna kiss anyone, you know. If I have these on my lips, I might not want to kiss someone's cheeks or hands. The swatches on my hand was actually quite tricky to remove. It's not impossible but it just won't wash with just plain water.

It's not the most moisturising, but it doesn't really accentuate the dryness of chapped lips. The stickiness actually coats your lips, kinda protecting it.

PROS:

- Has a variety of colours.
- I bought it quite cheap (on clearance).
- Colour can be made more opaque, or sheered out if you prefer.
- Glides on well.
- Fun and convenient applicator.
- Not drying (is there a drying gloss??)
- Smells nice.

CONS:

- Quite sticky.
- Leaves an oily film after you wipe it away.
- Smell might bother some people.
- Uneven application.
- The applicator might not be user friendly for people with small lips.
- Pastel colours will settle into the lip creases.

Rating: 3.5/5 (A nifty product to have in your collection, I wished Chai Latte had more colour to it. Strawberry Banana Latte is perfect. Not kiss friendly LOL)

Will I buy this again?

I barely made a dent in them, so no. Plus I doubt they'd still have it on sale by the time I'm done with them. It's a maybe.

Do I recommend this?

If you can find it on sale, or clearance, I don't see why not. It's a fun gloss!

Where can you buy this?

Etude House or online. If they still carry it.

---

I hope this review was somewhat helpful, although I doubt it lol.

Are there any lip glosses you know of that shares the same roll-roll applicator? If you do, do share!

'til then, take care!

I'm very sleepy.

August Collective Haul *Hits Self*

I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LACK OF BLOGGING.
OMG.

Can't believe it's been exactly a MONTH since my last update. I'm so sorry :(
I've been procrastinating a lot.

Things happened too....hm, but that'll be for another time I believe.

I will have a giveaway up soon, btw. Once I have the time to like, make the video for it!
The bad thing about this post is that, once I took all the photos, I realized that I missed some things...I'll put it in a bracket somewhere.

For this haul post, there are some items for the giveaway too lol. So yeah, not all is for me.

I went to Miri twice, but to be honest, I don't think I bought THAT many stuff. It's just that some of it is more expensive x___x I'm trying not to buy anything this month BUT I need a mascara D: I kinda want an essence mascara. Any recommendations?

Anyway, moving on to the haul...

Here are all the things (minus some nose pore strips, toothpaste and some cream)
Some are from Paloma, but most are from Miri.
These are all collective from Watsons, Guardian, Tony Moly, TheFaceShop, SaSa (yes, I had to go back there >_> you'll see why).

Let's break it down, shall we? I will add some mini thoughts to the items I've tried.

Body mist, Gel eyeliners and a Handcream.
I got the body mist from Paloma. It was BND4.90 I think. I forgot the price by now. It smells identical to Victoria's Secret Body Mist in 'Love Spell'. Well, close enough. It smells more sweet I think but it's very similar. It's called 'Enchanted Kiss'. You can say they are copies of VS.

For the IN2IT gel eyeliners, I really only wanted a matte black gel eyeliner that would last well. This was fine, but it was too creamy for my liking. I will giveaway the brown one because I have a lot of browns already.

The hand cream is from TFS. I haven't opened it but it smelled okay when I sampled it. I preferred Tony Moly's hand creams I guess. Smells more natural.

Brush cleanser, De-pigmentor serums and a Lipbalm.
The brush cleanser is from Cyber Colors at SaSa. It wasn't that good, to be honest. Works better for eye brushes over face brushes, that's for sure. I wouldn't repurchase it once I run out I believe.

These nanowhite de-pigmentor serums were once my HG scar fading serum but so far, I think it doesn't work as well anymore. I don't know why. These things aren't cheap either :/ but I'll make it work again. I changed my skincare routine, maybe that's why.

A girl can't have too many lipbalms! I decided to buy another one of this variant because I love it so much. I have a lot of lipbalms to burn to be honest...

Lip products, Eye primer, Concealer, Eyeliner and Stick eyeshadow.
Most of the things here are from Tony Moly.
I've used three of the products here. Some of them are for my next giveaway haha.
I liked the products so much that I kinda want to give some away~

The slim lipstick from TM is such a joy on the lips. It's not drying, it's convenient and it smells lovely. Unfortunately they ran out of the colour I liked so I bought a more plummy one for the giveaway. It's definitely something I'd repurchase in the future.

I have the Petit Bunny Gloss in the yellow variant, so I decided to get two of them...so the winner of the giveaway can choose which one they liked more :3 both are cute.

I've also tried the eyeliner. That's from SilkyGirl. I thought it'd be my HG but so far, it smudges on my lower lashline ): I still can't find my HG black eyeliner yet! It's good though, for a drugstore brand.

The eye primer from TFS is also surprisingly good! Unfortunately it's kinda oily LOL.

I haven't opened the concealer and the stick eyeshadow from TM.

MORE ITEMS.
I've tried both CandyDoll products. They were kind of a letdown for the price :O
The lipgloss applies smooth but there's barely any colour. It's super sticky too!

The lipstick I have is in Vanilla Beige? It makes me look like a corpse XD acts more like a lip concealer for my skintone I guess!

theBalm's eyeshadow is for the giveaway also! It's in my favourite shade, Mischievous Marissa. It's not included in any of the Shady Lady palettes just so you know!

The lipbalm here is for a giveaway :3 (I'm giving away three kinds of lip products wtf)

essence stuffs here are from Paloma, obviously. I haven't tried the matt powder and you guys know how much I love the eye primer! However, I found out that it works best with SOME eyeshadow brands and works not so well with others. I think matte eyeshadow works best for it because my Urban Decay eyeshadows (satin, shimmery ones) kinda creased under 5 hours D:

The two eggs are from TM. I needed stuff for my blackheads.
I prefer the brown egg over the white one, that's for sure!

PHEW!

That's it for my collective haul.
I will make sure to do in-depth reviews for some of these things~

If you have any requests just tell me okay?

I really want to blog more often again x_x

Sorry again for slacking!

'til then, take care!

Have a nice day!
