Trying To Be A Guy... (Updates)

Well, actually I failed!
It's also been a while since I blogged, sorry D:

Really got nothing to blog. Well, I did but I didn't feel like it.
Like, I didn't feel like writing as much.

Well, I did have some interesting bits here and there but nothing over the top really.

On the 18th, my lovely baby, Shyla, gave birth to SIX kittens :D
I didn't expect her to have 6 on the first pregnancy (we're gonna spay her after the kittens are big enough) but yeah!

We got six :O

So cute :D They have actually opened their eyes now! But I haven't had the chance to take photos of them :)

I had to take care of them too when Shyla feels overwhelmed.

They're so precious :)

Shyla's Babies :D
Then the other day, I forgot when, Friday Night I think, I decided to try and look like a guy. For fun. I'm actually waiting for my short haired wig to come but I wanted to try out a look...but I think I failed.

Side by side however, with the girly look, I think I did fine.

Sure, not guy-ish enough but less feminine at least.

Male Nisa VS Girly Me
Can I at least be a bishonen? No?
Dammit.

The other day I saw this cute cake at DQ :D
Look at it!!

So PRECIOUS!!!

Makes me wanna eat it :O

Fruity Choco, that's the name.
Which reminds me of my conversation with my sister about future wedding cakes.

I said I want a red velvet and salted caramel tiered cake :O
But then again, who's my husband? And what does HE want?

I dunno.

I've been eating pizza almost every week but I haven't really gained much weight (THANK GOD) but yeah, I've been having my old stomach problems again actually.

So I dunno if I should go see a doctor again.

....Kuja?
I tried to start drawing again but to me, I think I've really lost touch with it.
It's kinda sad.

I used to love doodling but I dunno, not much practice.

It sucks really!

Sukiyaki Don

Then, yesterday night, I went out with dad and sis and we had dinner at Excapade Sushi.
Mom's foot is still broken so she had to stay at home D:

I ordered Sukiyaki Don but I ended up not eating it D: It came late.

Brought it home.

I also bought only ONE item from the Etude House sale.

Didn't wanna shop unnecessarily~

But yeah, that's about it I guess.

I've been busy taking care of the kittens.

Now I have to busy myself by helping out with the house since my maid will be away for 2 months...

I haven't been sleeping properly either.
I'm still nocturnal.

I think I need sleeping pills ):

I just can't seem to fix it on my own.

Anyway, take care!

Goodnight!

-Nisah-

P.S: I'm also planning on having a blogsale~ But I really don't know if people'd be interested. I think I'll be selling mostly nailpolishes (since I usually swatch them but don't end up using them BECAUSE I stick to ones I mostly love, since I only have them on for a week then I don't paint them until my next period), I dunno about rarely used BB Creams and whatnot, would people be interested?

Last Sunday's LOTD and A Mini Haul

I went out on Sunday, and I rarely go out.
I wanted to actually check out Tony Moly's "Secret" promo. It wasn't that much. I didn't buy anything from them because my lil' sis was there to be my conscience LOL.

It was funny because while in the car, I was actually telling her that I learnt from a blogger that "If the discount is just 10%, it's not worth it. Don't bother." And well, Tony Moly had only member discount that time, which was 10%. LOL. I really don't listen to myself. They also have that HSBC discount but I don't get that.

So yeah, dad dropped us off at Airport Mall, then we walked to Times Square.

What I was wearing that day a.k.a Outfit of the Day/Night:

A girly look I guess?
I was wearing a white v-neck cotton shirt from Uniqlo I bought back in 2008 in Japan. Wow, that thing lasts long! XD It's still comfy, and I've worn it when I was fattest so it might be a bit loose? The peach/orange loose knit/lace thing is from Brands Outlet~ The skirt I kinda hiked up a bit because it was too long, that actually was from Labuan a LONG time ago. I've only started wearing it recently. It's actually an office skirt. I dunno what I was thinking back then, it was in 2004. I was only 13 then! Then I wore leggings. I wore my favourite shoes and the bag was from my sis' stash lol.

I GAINED WEIGHT D: NOOOOO.

My makeup and hair that day.
I also had my favourite lapis lazuli necklace :D See? Told you it goes with everything!
I had my hair in bubble style, I've only worn this out one other time back in 2011.

Hmph.
Unfortunately at the end, while still at Airport Mall, most of my hair-ties died on me. One by one D: I just gave up and undid everything when I went to Hua Ho Mall. It was fun while it lasted!

Under natural sunlight. I DO NOT LIKE MY BROWS.
Unfortunately my red dye has died.
Uguuu.

It's still light coloured but no longer red D:
I loved my red hair. DAMMIT.

Anyway~
We didn't manage to go to places much, because I had to meet up with someone around 7.30pm, WHICH my dad forgot about >_>; Sigh.

I managed to go to only TheFaceShop and buy some stuff from there. I had the vouchers from my birthday, I thought it was a waste to not use it...

So I bought these things!

Three things for BND30+ (even after discounts ._. )
Out of three of these, one of them is a real impulse buy.
One of them I really need.
Then the other was just curiosity.

Can you guess?

Here it is in the order:

Friggin Impulse Buy. BUY ME.
This is TFS Crystal Collection Nail Polish in BL601 (BND12.90)
It was love at first swatch D:
I normally don't buy expensive nail polish because I don't wear them everyday...
But my sis just HAD to swatch it on my finger.

I fell in love.
Since it's the time of the month this week, I decided to get it. So I can paint my nails and admire them. LOL.

After discount it was BND10.32. I do not approve :x
It was also the last one on the rack (for Times Square anyway)

The swatched nail is holding on well. No chipping, still going strong. Very prettily. I didn't even put top coat. I'll paint all my nails later.

I'm running out of the other item D:
I got this because it wasn't that pricey...well, no, actually it was. But then again, every item at TFS is kinda expensive D: WHY. This was priced at BND10.90. It was BND8.72 after discount.

After buying it, I had my fears that it might just not work that well. I have a DAISO one that I hate because of the smell. But I'm running out of it. And it doesn't work that well D:

But now that I read reviews...I'm scared this might not work on me D:
Some people said that the DAISO one works wonders compared to this. SO, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

Unfortunately, TFS' policy = GOODS SOLD ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Makes me wonder if they do refunds though LOL.

I'll just try it though and hope it's good.

Are you any better?
I have many mild exfoliants. Well, actually I have two. Both from SkinFood.
This is my third one. I was attracted to it because it's Papaya. I mean, papaya usually works.

I hope you're good. You cost me BND13.45 after discount. Normal price is BND26.90.

Of all the items, I'm pretty excited for the nail polish!

I'm gonna have pretty nails for a week.

I also got my Mey Rin wig on that day :D
I ordered it through a friend.

My first proper cosplay wig.

I'm so excited :D
This would be my first proper cosplay ever!
Hopefully.

I need to make/buy the costume. I'm sewing out a draft dress and I'm stuck at the sleeves.

It's more deep magenta in real life.
I need to cut the bangs D:
But I like it like this...

I'm so in love with this hairstyle D:
Or maybe it's the colour?
I love the short hairstyle so much I might just cut it like this in May.
I'm done with my long thick hair!

I'm so tired of it.

Plus it reminds me of someone I rather not remember anyway.

I really, really want this hair :O

But then I'll have to style it more :/

But yeah.

So that's my mini haul, and stuff.
I'm so sleepy.

I started exercising again *coughdancingcough* and I'm gonna eat better.

I should really start fixing my sleeping pattern if I wanna lose weight though.

So yeah, take care!

Do check out my recent reviews!

Have a great day!

Review: SkinFood Almond Milk Rich Foot Cream

I've had this product for a while, and started using this again recently, because my feet's been quite dry.
So yeah, here's the review!

*If you have something against feet, here's a warning: My foot is in this!*

SkinFood Almond Milk Rich Foot Cream
Before I bought this cream, I was using The Body Shop's Body Butter in Macadamia. As much as I loved it, it was too oily and kinda expensive! So I decided to buy a proper cream for feet. I was actually looking for another product, which was the Peppermint Foot Cream but they only had this back then. I don't remember the price but it was definitely about RM30+, maybe about BND15 but I'm not sure. On the SkinFood Singapore site, the price is listed as $26! Wtf!

For me, it's a bit pricey for the amount of product you'd get. You only get 85ml in this product. They should have made it at least a 100ml, or even better, 150ml! I've read that the Peppermint Foot Cream contains 100ml of product~

Description of the Product~
This product promises to "deeply moisturise and nourish dry and rough feet", it's just what I need! It's rich in Vitamin E, which is a well known vitamin that is good for the skin. It helps with skin renewal, and is also good for combating wrinkles and also help fade scars and whatnot. This vitamin is suggested to be taken internally. However, there are many products that contain this, especially for the skin. There's actually Vitamin E Cream in the market, if you'd prefer it.

Ingredients List.
Moving on, let's talk about the product itself! The cream has a nice consistency, it's not too runny, yet not too thick. It's easy to spread, and sinks into the skin quite well. You can kinda see the consistency from the photos~

The cream on the back of my hand. Looks kinda runny, but it stays put.
You can see the consistency well here.
The product is not sticky at all, once spread on your foot, and you massage it in, it's all absorbed. It will leave a shiny residue, and will stay there for a while. I suggest wearing a sock overnight if you use this before you sleep!

It doesn't smell like almond or milk that much, it smells perfume-y. I can't really pinpoint the scent, but since it's to be used on my feet, I don't mind the smell as much. It's not bad, I just wished that it smells more like almond.

The 'Food' in SkinFood, y'know?

As for the packaging, it's a standard tube packaging. It's hygienic, it's simple and pretty. Straight to the point. It looks posh, there's a golden theme with it, lol. That's one reason I prefer it over the body butter, you don't have to scoop it out.

Simple, hygienic packaging.
As for the moisturising qualities of this product, it works. Is it rich? Yes, but not too overpowering, where it leaves your hands really sticky and oily after massaging your feet. In fact, I have calluses on my fingers from playing guitar, and my hand creams don't work at all, but this, it actually works!

But you can look at the results on my feet just immediately after applying it.

*FOOT PICS AHEAD*

Before applying the foot cream.
And then~

After applying the foot cream.
I didn't use soften on this image, but it might look a bit blurry due to my photo taking skills. However I can vouch that it does immediately sink in. Leaving a healthy glow. I also got some blood running from massaging the product in.

One small dollop is enough for one foot, unless your feet are very dry.
You also need to take into account that this does not prevent your feet from getting dry. You have to be consistent with application.

You can buy this product at your nearest SkinFood Outlet, or even online.
Prices range from USD7~USD13, depending on where you get it.

Here are the pros and cons of the product:

PROS:

-Locally available.
-Easily accessible online.
-Hygienic packaging.
-The cream has good consistency, easily spread onto skin.
-Moisturises well.
-Smells pleasant.
-Can be used on other parts of the body that is rough.

CONS:

-Quite pricey.
-Contains only 85ml of product.
-Does not prevent the foot from being dry, unless you use it a lot.

Will I buy this again?
Maybe. But there are many foot creams out there that are less pricey and work just as well, I'm sure.

Do I recommend it?
Yes.
I do recommend it, it does work, but it's not a miracle product. It moisturises your feet, just like many other creams. However, it does not really prevent dryness. The amount of product you get also does not justify the price. If you can get it under BND15, especially BND10, then it won't hurt to try.

Not a must-have item.

I'd love it if you guys can recommend a good foot cream :D

Rating: 3/5 (Price and amount of product lowered it for me)

Disclaimer: Remember, our skin differs. What works for me, might not work for you, and vice versa.

Until then, take care everyone!
I hope this review was helpful~

Review: Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick

I'm gonna be reviewing this nifty little product that I've had for a month or more.
I really forgot when I bought it but I have used a fair amount of it as you would see in my photos.

I personally have never tried many eye serums, eye creams or rather anything that is beneficial for my eyes. It is however, quite important, especially since the skin around the eyes are actually very sensitive and can easily be susceptible to irritation and infections.

So far, I have never experienced any infections from bad products or anything. This is just an overview because of the nature of the product I'll review in a bit!

Product Information~ (From TM Brunei)

As you can see, the main objective of this product is to give "hydration" and "to make the eye area refreshed". It does not promise to banish dark under eye circles, it does however, according to the Tony Moly Brunei FB:
Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick is a unique eye serum in stick form that's designed to provide relief and moisture for puffy, tired eyes.
When applied, the stick gives a cooling, soothing sensation to the eyes.
Suitable for office lady use to cool down the tired eyes after facing the computer for a long time.
People who drive long journey.
So yeah!
Don't expect this product to help you if you have bad dark under eyes! This is not for you.

Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick
When I bought this product, I asked for a good eye moisturiser that's not too sticky and won't clog pores. The SA recommended this.

It was put next to the Panda's Dream Good-bye Dark Eye Corrector. So I asked the difference and he said: "For the Cooling Eyes Stick, you can use it day and night while the other one is used only at night", so knowing personally that I needed something like this, I bought it.

The back of the product. All in Korean. Made in Korea. Contains 9g of product.
Sorry that I don't have the box with me anymore! I think I might have thrown it away.

It comes with a hygienic cap that helps prevent the product from drying up!
Here are my thoughts on the product:

This product is very small, convenient and you can pop it in your bag easily. Since it's small, I'd recommend putting it along in a small pouch so you don't lose it. I can compare that this product (on your eyes) feels like you are putting a cold spoon over.

This instantly cools it down and de-puffs your eyes very slightly. The good thing about this is that you don't need to put it in the fridge, it will still feel cooling! However, I've read that putting it in the fridge doubles the effect somewhat. Unfortunately, it does not moisturise as well as it cools your eyes.

How much I've used it.
I've tried two ways of applying it.

I tried the recommended way, which is to just run it gently around your eyes, focusing mostly on the under-eye and pat it gently to absorb the product. That works just fine, but for hygienic purposes, make sure you do this AFTER you wash your face and apply your other skincare.

I also tried patting the product to my clean finger and dab it to my eye area. Does not work as well, to be honest!

So basically, the best way to use this is directly from the product, which, for some people, is unhygienic.

However, personally, if you're not sharing it with anyone, think of it as a nice way to massage your eyes too. Make sure you don't tug on the skin around your eye though! I've used it before after crying my eyes out, I didn't wake up looking puffy or like a panda.

I dunno what the white thing is! But this is the amount of product left.
The product smells slightly citrusy. I didn't even notice the smell until now because I only use it on my eyes LOL. Either way, it does not offend my nose at all.

Unfortunately, I can't find the ingredients online so I can't list what's in this product. Maybe it was on the box but I don't have it anymore :x

EDIT: I FOUND THE BOX!

Hmmmm.
Anyway, you can buy this product at Tony Moly Brunei for BND14.90, 10% discount if you're a member, or if you're lucky you can buy this on promotion!

For international readers, you can get the product on eBay, for around USD8.90~USD14.70 depending on where you buy it from. If you don't trust eBay, you can also get it from Cosmetic-Love (I've linked it to the product). Cosmetic-Love also has an eBay shop.

So, here are the pros and cons!

PROS:

-Locally available.
-Easily accessible online.
-Affordable (best buy it during a sale ;D)
-Small and light, so you can easily carry it around.
-Is in stick form, so no fear of it spilling everywhere.
-Lasts long if you use it sparingly.
-Can be used day and night or when needed.
-No fear of overusing the product since you can only get the product by direct application.
-Cooling on the eyes, making it feel refreshed.
-Works well after a night of crying.
-Smells pleasant.
-Product actually goes back in smoothly if you twist it all the way up!
-Packaging is sturdy.

CONS:

-No ingredients list (I might be wrong, do correct me)  Ingredients look questionable.
-Applying product directly may be unhygienic for some people.
-Not as moisturising as advertised.
-People who want a product to combat dark under eye circles would be disappointed in this.
-Some may find the price to be too steep for 9g of product.

So, will I buy this again?
Maybe, because I'm still on the look out for other nice eye serums.

Do I recommend it?
Yes, and no. It depends on your needs.
If you're just battling puffy eyes, this is it. Or you just need something cooling but is too lazy to go refrigerate cucumbers or spoons, this will be your best friend.

To me, it's not a must-have item. I'm sure there are better eye serums out there.

Rating: 4/5 (I was not looking for a product to combat dark circles, so I know I was getting only a cooling stick, however, the promise of hydration just wasn't there.)

Disclaimer: Remember, our skin differs. What works for me, might not work for you, and vice versa.

'til then, take care!
I hope this review was helpful.

Liebster Award :)

Hey everyone!

As you can see from the title, this is gonna be about the “Liebster Award”. I was tagged/nominated this by the cute and lovely Rei Kouken, whose blog you can visit right here! I wanna say thank you to her for nominating me J

Let me explain what the “Liebster Award” is actually about!

Actually I had to look it up a bit.
There are some confusing things~ I gotta admit.
Some bloggers say post 11 facts, some just answered the 11 questions and asked 11 questions for their nominees.

For my post, I’ll do what Rei did J

So, what is the “Liebster Award”?

The German word “Liebster” is translated as “Dearest” on Google Translate. So it basically means the “Dearest Award”.  It is an award to help gain awareness and also encourage new bloggers, or bloggers with less than 200 followers to blog more and share the love!

That’s how I see it.

Here are the rules:

+Thank the person who nominated you! Link back to them.
+Nominated bloggers must post 11 facts about themselves!
+Answer the 11 questions posted by the person who nominated you. You must also create 11 questions to be answered by your nominees.
+Nominate 11 blogs with less than 200 followers in your post!
+Go to their blog and tell them and make sure they don’t tag you back!

So yeah, let’s start with 11 Facts about myself!

11 Facts About Me

   1) I am 5’2 in height, that’s about 157.5cm, although I’m comfortable with being 158cm!

   2) I’m afraid of heights and I lose my balance quite easily because of this.

   3)  I have a huge fear of house lizards, or the common gecko. It caused me a lot of trouble in the past, even now.

   4) My favourite Competitive Cooking Show is “My Kitchen Rules” (watching Season 4 now, and I can’t find Season 1!)

   5)  I am also afraid of spiders. Not as much as house lizards though.

   6)  I’ve lived in Japan for 10 months back in 2008 as part of an exchange program. I really wanna go back there.
In my seifuku!
   7)  I have 5 other siblings, and I am child No.5. I am known as the “Combo Breaker” amongst my siblings, because they wished No.5 to be a boy. This is the reason why: 1= Boy 2= Girl 3= Boy 4= Girl 5= Poor Old Me 6= Girl.

   8) I have never been thin. I was always plump and chubby. Fattest was at 75kg (165 pounds) back in 2010.

   9) I speak three languages, although I’m no longer that fluent in Japanese, I can still understand and speak conversationally. The other two languages I speak are obviously English and also Malay.

   10) I was always the artistic person in the family. I draw, sing and write. I was the only one in the art stream while everyone else either took engineering or computers.

Some of my art. I'm very lazy >_>
   11) I have an obsessive need to clean my room every night before I sleep, although weirdly, it’s never clean. I guess that’s part of it.

Here are the 11 Questions Asked by Rei :D

1)What do you do in your spare time
I mostly go on the net, watch Youtube and blog. When there’s no net, I read a book/eBook, watch TV, draw and practice on the guitar. Or do a recording of a cover and work on music.

2)What accomplishment are you most proud of?
     - Winning the Open Category of a Japanese Speech Competition? Although to be fair, there were only two people. My biggest accomplishment is basically to have scored well enough in all my exams (in the past) even though I didn’t study. I still somehow managed to score A’s and B’s magically. Although ever since I’ve had depression, lack of focus has taken a toll.

3)Until what age did you wet the bed?
- To be honest, I kinda peed a bit in the bed quite recently. Was it last year or this year, I’m not sure BUT it happened because in my dream, I was on the toilet. I woke up; finding out it was a dream. But my bed was a bit wet. My underwear on the other hand… :x

4)What is your ideal boyfriend (-'w'-)?
- Ideally, someone who is compassionate and considerate and doesn’t mind acting silly. Is able to counter my depressive moods just with words or jokes, and not run away from it. Able to counterbalance me well. Doesn’t mind being with a chubby girl. Doesn’t say flowery things to keep me happy and is not afraid to criticize me in a good way. Someone with a nerdy smile and a talking voice that I like. Unfortunately, even if you fit all the descriptions, if your voice doesn’t interest me, I’d rather be single forever.

5)What scares you the most?
- Not knowing what to expect or have things not going how I imagine it. Not knowing when I’ll break down again.

6)What were you like when you were a child?
- When I was a baby, I was a quiet one. I rarely cried and honestly, my mom said I was obedient and I don’t fuss. However, that all changed when I reached 6 years old I guess. I sulked a lot and threw a lot of tantrums. Even now, really.

7)What do you like the most about yourself (features, personality, fashion sense, etc)?
- I like the shape of my eyes and lips. I have Exotropia though, which really makes me feel insecure. I like how I’m quite observant (to an extent) and apparently my generosity is actually scaring some people (I’d honestly buy you something if you really want it, provided that I know you LOL)

8)Are you a crybaby?
- Yep. In fact, I have a mole on my lower lashline that people say are signs that you cry a lot. I cry easily and when I’m upset at the littlest things (not getting the right order or my parents bought me food I don’t like), I’d just bawl.

9)Are you apart of a club?
- Not anymore. I used to be part of the Manganime Club.

10)Would you rather fight a kangaroo, or eat a kilogram of raw liver? (Teehee X3)
- Fight a kangaroo I guess because I can’t imagine how raw liver tastes like! Nor do I know if my religion allows eating raw organs lol.

11)May I borrow a pen? :Dc
- Of course :D Just come over here!

I hope that suffices, Rei!

As for my questions for my nominees~

11 Questions For You

    1. Would you rather Beg, Borrow or Steal?
    2. What’s your favourite brand and why?
    3.  If you had to give up all your makeup but is allowed to keep one, what would you keep?
    4. Any Youtuber you can’t stand?
    5. What’s your best life tip?
    6. Do you play any games?
    7. Are you a lefty or a righty?
    8. Do you have any pets? Share something you love about them!
    9. If you had one superpower, what would it be?
    10.  List food you can’t stand seeing, smelling or eating.
    11. Do you believe in soulmates?

      And here are my nominees!

I NOMINATE:

     SpRiNkLeRaiN
 Imah
 Kim
  *

(Like Rei, I had a hard time finding blogs that I read with less that 200 followers!)

I’m gonna go and tell all my nominees about the award :D
Do check them out.

Thanks again, Rei for nominating me!
Although I don’t really know what to do now!
I enjoyed answering the questions, and I hope my nominees would too.

I hope I’ll be able to do more proper reviews soon!

So yeah, take care!

-Nisah-

Day Out (Olympus, Haul, Asians and Spotted Something!)

Hey~

I haven't actually done a proper blogpost (that's not depressing for once) in a while! I'm writing to share with you my day out at The Mall Gadong after about a month of not going there! Yes, I don't go to The Mall often, just because it's far away and my parents hate that place!

Waking up late and having to rush everything is sad lol. But yeah, I was excited to go out and I was also excited to finally wear out my asymmetrical high-low skirt that I got from Brands Outlet! Sorry but I didn't take an Outfit of The Day ( >_< ) Just because my shoes were downstairs and I don't feel like vaining in front of the mirror while at The Mall.

I did get some weird looks ( ;__; ) I guess my fat thighs are showing up. I was wearing it with opaque black tights though! I also wore out another shirt from the same place, wore light makeup and a headband I got from a recent giveaway. It was feathery and I thought it suit the whole....Owl look.

I took this at the hospital while visiting mom.
Ah, just an FYI, every pic here is taken AFTER I went out lol, hence the disheveled hair and melted makeup. Heck, even my HG eyeshadow base creased on me. HOW. My red hair's kinda faded already because I JUST HAD to wash it everyday.

It's freaking hot D: (That reminds me, I should do my number76 salon visit post soon!)

"No Eye Contact" How cute.
I had no problems with this shirt because I don't think it attracts attention to my chest because well, it's not around there XD and I love how the Owl looks like it's rolling its eyes in a way! It's like it's a creeper saying "Hey, whatchu doin' up there?"

I was also wearing a pink tank top underneath because the shirt itself was kinda sheer.

Don't mind the bulge, I had food.
Sorry I can't show you the skirt as much but what bothers me the most was how short it was!! It's really not a skirt for me to just kinda squat down to look at makeup!

So yeah, at first I was very hungry and craving for some meat. I had to drag my friends around Hot Point, Secret Recipe and lastly to Swensen's just to look for meat that can satisfy me.

We settled with Swensen's.
Dunno why LOL.

So yeah, I ordered Lamb Chops, cooked medium with pineapple barbecue sauce.
When it came, at first I was happy...until I saw that there was mainly gristle rather than the meat itself...

Too much gristle D:
And then the cutting knife they gave did not help cut the friggin' meat!

So I resorted to less than gentlewoman-ly ways of eating.

WITH THE HANDS!

I think the waiters saw my discomfort on my face, lol, they came over and asked if we liked everything and I childishly said, "There's too much fat!!"

I can't eat much fat, it makes me nauseous.
I'm sure some people like the fat that comes with the lamb chop, yes, but not everyone does.

My friend had the same order too, but his was cook well done. And he got all meat D:

WHYYY.

So anyway, to compensate, the offered to cook one more piece for me (aww, how nice) but gave me a different sauce. Black pepper sauce.

...I did not care for it.

So overall, the meat portions are yummy, it really was. Juicy and stuff.

But yeah, my teeth hates meat D: too chewy.

The lamb chop was BND17.50 so, I think them offering to replace the gristle with another chop was nice of them.

Oh, since we're on the topic of food....and pics, Kat linked me this video:

Yeah, I'm guilty. SO???
I'm Malay though so...technically, I'm South East Asian!

AND WTF IS WITH THIS GWIYOMI DANCE THING. STAHP.

Moving on~ we went around to TheFaceShop, Holika Holika and Paloma to look for a makeup base. Kat was looking for some eye makeup XD a waterproof eyeliner, more specifically!

TheFaceShop had makeup bases selling for BND32.90...I could have used my voucher for it but I thought that was still too much money for a base. Going to Holika Holika, it was the same story, but they had more choices for makeup bases!

Lastly, we went to Paloma.
I asked for makeup base and they told me only essence sells a makeup base.
I asked, is it good for oily skin? "No, no."

Aish.

But after going to the other Paloma, I decided to buy it lol. Along with some other things!

(Not before randomly deciding to buy tickets to watch "Olympus Has Fallen')

essence 'my base Skin-Perfection Makeup Base' (BND5.90)
essence Lipliner in "11 In The Nude" (BND1.90)
While deciding and kinda browsing around,  I just found out the brand has skincare. LOLs.

So, I picked up some things...

essence 'Pure Skin Natural Cover Moisturizer' in 'Lighter Skin' (BND3.90)
I was gonna buy the darker shade but it was too dark >_>
This is basically a tinted moisturiser!! Haven't used one in a while so I figure, why not?

There are days where I don't want coverage nor do I want to use BB Cream, so I got this instead.
Let's see if it's any good.

THEN, I saw some moisturisers!!

I got two.
One for mattifying purposes (if it even works) and one for light moisturising.

essence 'My Skin Mattifying Cream' (BND4.90)
essence 'My Skin Moisturising Cream-Gel' (BND4.90)
Honestly, I was drawn to the word 'Gel', because as you may know, I've been looking for a good gel moisturiser.

Unfortunately, since there were no testers, I didn't get to see what's inside.
I opened it and alas, it's not gel enough for me.

HOWEVER, it is light....and what the hell?? I'm sparkling like a Twilight Vampire D:
What moisturiser has sparkles??

First impressions is that it does absorb fast, smells pleasant (cucumber, hello~) and the consistency is nice. It's gel-like cream, if that makes sense?

I hope it doesn't break me out!

I had a member card so everything totalled to BND18.20!

My friend also bought some stuff from essence :)
So I lent her my card.

So after that, we went to Ochado and I ordered a Matcha....thingy.
I was talking to my friend how I hope it doesn't contain adzuki beans like Chatime.

But lo and behold, it DID contain adzuki beans D:

I was like "Oh no, it contains the beans!"

The person in charge was like "Oh, we can make you another one!!"

But I was like "No, no need!!"

One must not take a shop's kindness twice.
Well, not really.

But no!

So yeah, after that we went to go see the movie~

So, 'Olympus Has Fallen'?

I rate it 7/10! My friend rated it 8/10.

The reason why was that it was kinda cliche, VERY American views on things and stuff but I think I would watch it again. On DVD or Blu-Ray.

The acting was nice, the dialogue was okay and there were some funny bits here and there but hey, what can you expect from an action-thriller? Lots of blood!

I screamed, I talked and I critiqued some parts during the movie. As a girl who plays COD Black Ops or Modern Warfare, the movie only made me itch to play the games.

In a weird way.

So yeah, after the movies, I decided to go to Winmark in the hopes of finding dry shampoo.

FOUND IT.

batiste Original Dry Shampoo (BND9.90/8.90)
I haven't used it, I'll try it tomorrow!

I also bought a lulur with it. I dunno where the pic went lol.

EDIT: Found it!

Dewi Bulan Lulur Susu (BND1.80)
But here's all of them on top of Macky!

But I do have it in this pic!
Yeah, I also bought Nexcare Acne Patch! I totally forgot about it so I had to buy it after visiting my mom in the hospital.

Whilst I was around Guardian...

LOOK WHAT I SPOTTED!!

Maybelline Color Tattoos in Brunei!!

I didn't get to check the price unfortunately!
But the display, honestly, is dangerous.

It's an accident waiting to happen.

So yeah, that's about it for my day!

How was your day?

:)

Take care everyone~

P.S: I really want to have a nice digital camera...or a very, very lightweight DSLR or something. My photo quality is not how I want it to be!
