Moving? I Hope So.

Well, if you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen me update about moving and stuff.
This was actually a sudden thing. A plan. Well, it's official to me though LOL.

My parents are still thinking about it but it was actually them discussing with my older sister.

She lives (well, right now she's back in Brunei for the holidays) in the US for at least 3 more years and I guess they discussed me moving in with her family to help out with taking care of my niece. Also, there's talk about me studying Cosmetology degree or at least some courses.

Her house is quite close to a university so it's easy I guess.

I'm actually interested in art, writing..E.Lit...but honestly, it comes and goes.

As for Cosmetology...do I know shit? No. It'd be something completely new to me.
Maybe I'll like it.

Plus I wouldn't mind learning. I am constantly discovering new things as I apply makeup. Like today, my eyeliner wings were a bit more bold and evil looking LOL. And I changed up my foundation routine. Well, I always do. I rotate them a lot but dammit, two breakouts ;-;

I'm not very adventurous with my makeup I guess, mostly because I wear glasses 99% of the time. With my astigmatism, wearing lenses generally strain me more than help me. Plus I only wear lenses when I do some costume looks.

Moving to the US for a little while would be a welcome change for me.
The more I stay here, honestly, my anxiety is getting worse. I'm not as depressed like before. I was told to take my anti-depressants but I really don't want to :(

Maybe just for anxiety.

I'm scared at the thought of going to uni with no one I know, no friends, everything is fresh.

Unlike my Japan stay back in 2008, I feel like I'm not as brave as I was back then.
I feel small.

Scared.

Depression changed me.
Or maybe Japan changed me.

I'm scared, even though my sister will be there :(

Well, it's also very far from here.
Travelling...ugh, I have motion sickness, even two hour flights kill me!

Also, my favourite kitten died last Sunday.
I blame myself for it, really.
I still can't get over it. Slowly, I am.

But it's a bit traumatic for me...I feel like I've failed the mother cat.

It's the first kitten death under my care (officially).

Man, I really don't wanna cry again. Ha.

Anyway, tomorrow/today we're having a family BBQ, I marinated some chicken and lamb stuff. I hope it tastes good. My chicken will compete with mom's. I have a smaller portion though.

If mine tastes good, people will just have to share!

I've been busy taking care of the niece and nephew :)
I don't mind it one bit, well, except when they cry and I don't know what's wrong D:

And their poo-poo.

No.

Anyway, bought this:

Glazed Apple Hand Cream BND8.90
I'm kinda bummed they don't have the body butters separately.
They only have it in a small kit that's like BND19.90 and a big kit that's BND89...something.

( ;-; ) how is that a good deal?? It's not like everything's full sized :< well, okay, maybe 3 out of 4 of it are full sized...but still.

I'd buy it if it was BND69 maybe lol. Well, maybe.

I just splurged on some MUG Vegas Collection...so of course, I can't.

Sorry for the rambling, just in the mood for it.

( '-' ) I'm kinda half-down. I forced myself to workout for 3 days straight, so I'm less prone to hormonal outbursts. I am late though. My period I mean.

I guess it's stress.

Or the anti-depressants.

Anyway, I need to sleep.

'til then, take care!

De-Stressing Haul (The Body Shop, Catrice, etc.)

I don't remember the last time I shopped, I think I got a lipgloss from Etude but that's about it? Oh, and an applicator. I don't even keep track of what I buy anymore. I've focused all my money on the cats.

Either cat food or my food.

I'm going through all my makeup stuff, slowly. BUT there's this habit I still can't let go.

Buying new foundation or BB Cream even though I don't need it.

I've been stressed for almost two weeks now, not due to exams actually, but it's due to my horrible mood swings. I've been weepy, sad, and angry.

It made me want to get something.

But well, yesterday I did go out. I haven't gone out (other than the clinic and restaurant) in a while.

I rely a lot on the mister that it feels weird going out with family.

It feels naked.

ANYWAY.

I did not plan two things.

Can you guess what it is?

1. The Body Shop "Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub" (BND19.90)

- Not planned at all. I did ask the SA about what product is good for removing blackheads and clogged pores. She recommended this. I told her I didn't need a new cleanser but she said this is specifically just for scrubbing. I wasn't sure at first but I did try it on my hand, and I liked it. I used it yesterday and so far, I do like it. It stings a bit around the eyes, well the scent does.

2. The Body Shop "Vineyard Peach Body Butter" (BND24.90)

- I've been wanting a body butter for a while because my moisturisers just don't cut it. This is EXPENSIVE ( ;-; ) but I bit my tongue and got this. I was debating between four scents: this, the new raspberry, blueberry and a permanent lychee one. I LOVE peaches, so I got this. I'm so obsessed with the new matte packaging and the scents that I kinda want the rest now. It's on my wish list lol.

3. Catrice "All Matt Plus Shine Control Make Up" (BND9.90)

- I don't know why I got this but I did. I was thinking about it, looked up reviews and whatnot. I'm just so disappointed in the Revlon Colorstay oxidising on me that I need to find something else. I might just sell that one on a blogsale :/ I got this in the shade 030 Warm Beige. I would be so angry if this oxidises too.

4. Ibu Putih Strawberry (BND15)

- I've been wanting to try the Nina Skincare one, but I like the smell of strawberries, so I figured why not try this one first. Comparing pictures and all that, I think this is the original one.

With some discounts...it all totalled to: BND63.72

*dies*

I need a job.
Do you wanna buy my paintings? ( ;-; )

I have cats to feed too.

Have you tried any of these products?

'til then, take care!

Products I've Been Loving! (Makeup)

Hi guys! I have so many products I've been using recently, sometimes I can't even remember!

I think I should do a separate one for skincare, but one product sneaked into this post LOL. I was taking a pic on Instagram and I noticed that it can't fit all my faves! I won't talk about the skincare product here I guess.

Anyway, here are the products:

Love these!
1. theBalm "Nude'tude Palette"

- I've been using this palette a lot recently! I've barely made a dent though, because you know what? A little goes a long way! My fave shades are Snobby, Selfish and Sexy!

2. essence "Stay Natural Concealer"

- This is a recent favourite. It's not super long lasting, but for a couple of hours, it's good. Affordable and it covers well, set it with a good powder and you're good to go (as in, increase the longevity.)

3. Cyber Colors "24H Eyebrow Pen"

- It's in '01 Gray', and applies so nicely. It lasts a long time (as the name suggests) and blends easily too. Sometimes I can accidentally overdo it, but since it's a bit waxy, you won't have that problem as much.

4. essence "I ♥ Stage Eyeshadow Base"

- My go-to primer nowadays. I love it a lot!. You can read the review here.

5. SkinFood "Tomato Sun Cream SPF36 PA++"

- My new best friend when I don't want to wear a foundation or BB cream. I don't know why but it just makes my face look a lot put together! I normally wear it at night when I go out XD I'm actually running out of it! It's not too heavy and blends so easily.

6. Rimmel London "Stay Matte Pressed Powder"

- In 'Transparent'. I didn't think this powder keeps me matte for 5 hours, but it really does a good job. Paired with my sunscreen, this is awesome! There's so much product too!

7. The Body Shop "Born Lippy Stick Lip Balm"

- I recently reviewed this. It's my go-to lip balm right now.

8. Revlon "Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick"

- Totally loving 'Mauve it Over' right now! Lovely MLBB lipstick that's not too pink, not too nude. It's just lovely! Doesn't dry me out. Review here.

9. Etude House "Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color"

- In 'Raspberry Mousse Cake'. I use this as a cream blush and it's just lovely. Easy to blend and the colour looks so natural! You can read my full thoughts here.

10. Etude House "Dr. Oil Solution Anti-Shine Mist"

- Recent favourite. Really helps keep the sebum at bay, especially when paired with an oily face product, like BB creams! Kinda sticky.

11. elianto "Cream Concealer (or something LOL)"

- In '03 Warm'. Perfect shade for my skin if I don't wear anything too light! I have a hard shade to match! My face is a lot pinker and darker than the rest of my body that's yellow based. It really does the trick when I don't want to wear a foundation. Just spot concealing and I'm good to go!

--

That's it for the makeup products I'm loving so far. I don't think the sunscreen counts as makeup, but I generally treat it as part of my makeup routine! So it's makeup to me~

I think if I was given a choice, I think I can survive with just these as my makeup products. No eyeliner? That's true. I don't generally use it unless I have a lot of time! With my thick rimmed glasses, you can barely see them anyway!

I will definitely do some in-depth reviews for some of the products! Anything you'd like to see first?

'til then, take care!

Review: The Body Shop Born Lippy Stick Lip Balm in Pink Berry

When I first got this lip balm, I was like: What's a pink berry?

I googled and I got this:

Photo from Google Images
It's basically a new kind of blueberry! It didn't click to me immediately when I googled them though. Another kind of pink berry is Pinkberry, a yogurt chain lol.

My first encounter with this fruit is in the form of The Body Shop's Born Lippy Stick Lip Balm in 'Pink Berry'! I received this lip balm from my brother's girlfriend. Isn't she sweet?

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Our cult lip balm in a stick format. Gives lips a pop of colour, a shot of moisture and a soft shine.
  • Light pink tint
  • Subtle shine
  • Fruity berry flavour
This lip balm contains 5g of product and it is made in UK. There are 6 varieties available overall, and each of them are housed in cute plastic packaging with cartoony lips! I don't really know the price, so I'm sorry about that! EDIT: Thanks to Liza for informing me, the price is BND8.90.

Born Lippy in 'Pink Berry'
Growing up, my mom used to give me and my sisters (even my brother sometimes) those tub lip balms from TBS and I'm a huge fan of the cherry....? Or was it strawberry. My mom got me watermelon once and I wasn't a fan of it. But I found the use of my fingers to apply product kind of annoying and unhygienic.

When TBS came up with this, I wasn't sold on it. To be completely honest, it took me a while to warm up to this lip balm. The first layer was kind of hard so it takes a while for me to go "Oh, I like this."

I've been using it non-stop for about a month or so, and I'm left with this much:

Oooh, nearly hit "pan"
I don't think it moisturises awesomely, but it works well. It kind of leaves a film on your lips, so it protects and slightly hydrates (to me) but it doesn't dry them out.

I don't think it has a taste, it has a pleasant smell at least. Nothing that makes me gag.

As for the tint, Pink Berry makes me look pale LOL.
Like a frosty sheen on my lips.

I mainly use it when I'm on my laptop, so I reach for it a lot.

---

PROS:

-Locally available.
-Has 5 other flavours.
-Travel-friendly.
-Slightly more hygienic since it's in stick form (compared to the original)
-Hydrating enough for a lip balm.
-Gives a tint.
-Cute packaging.

CONS:

-I assume it's pricey for a lip balm (TBS standards)
-Rather than give moisture, it protects instead.
-I wished there was more product.

Rating: 3.5/5 (It's passable)

Will I buy this again?

I wanna try the Toffee flavour, although I think I can find a cheaper lip balm with the same flavour!

Do I recommend this?

I won't say no. It has cute packaging :D

Where can you find this?

At The Body Shop!

---

Kinda happy that this is less rambly than usual XD

I'm kinda tired.

'til then, take care!

Procrastination Haul

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been posting a lot.
Been thinking of it, but I couldn't bring myself to.

Yesterday something kinda "traumatic" happened to me.

Okay.
It was a haircut. An ugly one.

It was my fault though. I guess I'll talk about that next time. Hopefully tomorrow?

Anyway, let's get onto the haul. Mostly bought.

Recently, my sis came back from the UK and brought with her, something I ordered last year. Yeah. It's last year's stuff. It's not recent. I haven't been buying anything. Just two things, because I was looking for a powder to replace my BB Creams.

I have stopped using my BB Creams, I guess I might have a blogsale up soon.

Moving on...

I got a Two Way Cake from Pixy. My friend suggested it.
I decided to get two shades. I've only tried the Yellow Beige.
It is too light for me but I think I can use it for highlighting.

I also tried using it wet, it did not look good. LOL.

Pixy Two Way Cake Perfect Fit
But then again I didn't really use it properly I think. It's not too pricy either. I bought the refill because I figured that I didn't need a full compact. I kinda want to get a Z-Palette one day!

My sis got me some stuff from The Body Shop. The Banana Shampoo and Conditioner. I think I have too many bottles of the shampoo and I only have ONE conditioner >_>; Brunei doesn't carry the conditioner which is a bummer!

The shampoo on its own smells delightful but somehow it's drying :/

She also got me a Deep Sleep/Quiet Night Dreamy Pillow & Body Mist. I just noticed the name was different tonight lol. The one I got from KK is called Quiet Night. HM.

The Body Shop Mini Haul
She also brought back the MUA stuff I ordered last year.
I am on a makeup ban so I dunno how I feel about it lol.

I bought them last year okay.

MUA Nail Quake Polishes
One of them will be in my blogsale.

MUA Makeup Haul
I tried the MUA Pro-Brow Kit and I really like it!
I don't think I'll open any of them yet.
I might even sell some of them on the blogsale lol.

The most expensive haul I got is from Dr. Pico.
Honestly, I was excited for one item only, the Blackhead Serum.

I haven't even tried any of them yet.
I can't because they told me I would break out and I can't break out before my sister's engagement (It's on Saturday).

If it works like hell, then I'm in a pickle.

Dr.Pico Haul
Last but not least, I won these recently from a giveaway by Etude House Brunei.
I worked hard for it. LOL. Kinda embarrassed but I really, really wanted it.

Reason was that I didn't know it was limited edition UNTIL I checked that site I was gonna buy from. I kept asking and asking EH Brunei WHY they didn't bring it in, but they didn't say.

When I saw that they were giving them away I hyperventilated lol.
I was like "WHAT???"

So yeah.
Etude House Sweet Recipe Limited Edition Nail Polish
I wanted it and I got it.

They're so cute ( ;-; )

So yeah, that's my procrastination haul.

I think I'll be using the Dr.Pico stuff next week?
I'll be doing updates I guess since I'm borrowing my sister's camera so yay for HQ pics. (Minus one pic here lol)

...even though I suck at taking photos.

Drool.
I baked this last Saturday :D
It's supposedly a pumpkin pie but I guess it's more of a custard.

It's yummy.

So yeah, take care!

My giveaway is ending soon :)
Join it if you want to.

Join me? LOL

My Current Skincare Routine :D

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all well :)
I had sad news yesterday, with my psychiatrist having to go away, thus transferring me to someone else's care. I cried.

But anyway, let's focus on what the post is about, shall we?

Lyn asked last time what my current skincare routine was. I didn't want to do one without really sure of the things.

Truth is, my whole routine was disrupted when I ran out of my HG moisturiser and I haven't found a replacement. I had recently placed an order so hopefully it'll come back to my routine!

I used to rely on TWO main things: Eskinol Papaya Smooth White Facial Deep Cleanser and C+M Papaya Gel Moisturiser. I am not using any of those now. The reason why I had it as a routine was to fade my acne scars FAST.

I made do though.
I found a routine that works for me.

So far I haven't had any breakouts. The last breakout I had was on my nose, and it didn't occur to me to use my Mario Badescu, so I have a nasty scar there >_>; but that was 2-3 weeks ago.

Moving on!

Here are the facial washes I use~

Facial Cleansers & Scrub
I don't use them ALL at once! That's just crazy!
I use the scrub when my nose feels all congested and to scrub off some flaky scars. Do I think it works? So-so. It's not a miracle product.

Sometimes I also use two gentle scrubs from SkinFood for daily use.

Peeling Gel (Gentle Scrubs)
I use the St. Ives Apricot Cleanser when I feel like my face needs a gentle, gentle scrub. I use it when my pores are just feeling weirdly congested. After cleansing, usually it leaves my skin soft, not too dry.  This is supposed to fight blemishes.

I generally use the TheFaceShop Blemish Zero Bubble Foam Cleanser in the mornings. It's not harsh at all. I bought it due to the recommendation of a fellow blogger. It's really gentle, has a nice scent and leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping the natural oils.

Lastly, I use the Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser when I use makeup on that day. To make sure I removed all my makeup when I use my cleansing creams. You know what's the best weapon against acne? Removing your makeup properly. I try not to use this unless I did wear makeup. I think I tried using this daily, and it wasn't being nice to my skin. It's not harsh, but compared to the other two, it's the strongest of the bunch.

For me.

As for the moisturisers and toners~

I approve of this.
Truth be told, I have A LOT of toners. I also have A LOT of moisturisers. For moisturisers, it's more tricky though. If I hate the scent, I would really not use it. This is the case of moisturisers I buy online. LOL. Poor them.

I actually have a ton of facial cleansers too, ones that don't work for me or I just never bother reaching out for. I might use them again when I run out of some of the items.

Anyway~

My new beauty find that I happen to LOVE a lot is the HadaLabo Arbutin Whitening Lotion! For this one, I was afraid it would break me out, I read some reviews saying it breaks them out. However I think that happens if you use the milk too. I just have the "toner" version of it. For me, it works like a light moisturiser. If my skin is not that dry, I skip my snail cream and just end the day with this.

I recently finished my Eskinol Classic White Blackhead Prevent Facial Deep Cleanser, so I moved on to the lemon variant. I'm now using the Eskinol Oil Control Facial Deep Cleanser. My friend Kat uses this. Does it really help with oil? Nope. At least not for me LOL. I read online that this freaking dries them out! It doesn't for me. I am hoping that this helps fade scars since lemon is known for that.

It's gentle though, just like the papaya variant.

Depending on my mood, I would sometimes use The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. It doesn't mattify my face at all LOL. Then again, I'm not using the whole range for it. I like this, but I would stay away from my eyes I guess. This is pricy so I'm glad it's not my HG!

Although I gotta defend their oil control BECAUSE I use a moisturiser that kinda makes my face oily after a few hours. I use The Skin Shop Recovery Solution Cream as my moisturiser. I use this when my face feels very dry, or I have some popped pimples. It's supposed to help heal them faster. I like the scent too, but if I use it too heavily, it clogs my pores.

For my eyes, I use Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick. I usually don't bother to deal with my eyes though.

When I have bumps and acne, I spread a thin layer of the Mario Badescu Drying Cream.

Had I known, I would have used this on my nose earlier. This immediately calmed down the annoying painful nose acne!

So basically my daily routine is:

Cleanse Face -> Toner -> Lotion -> Moisturiser

If I use makeup:

Remove Makeup -> Cleanse Face -> Toner -> Lotion -> Moisturiser

I also generally use mud masks after I use makeup. It depends on how heavy it was.
If I feel like my skin needs to be decongested, I'd whip out my facial sauna, do nose strips and mud masks. I ALWAYS neglect my PMD though ( ;-; ) that expensive thing.

Yes, I do mud masks more than face masks. I need to use my face masks really ( ;-; )

Is my face perfect?
Nope.

In fact, I have congested pores sometimes, so I have to deal with the skin-like bumps here and there but generally, I'm happy.

Ever since I used the HadaLabo Lotion, I felt an improvement. Hence, I'm very happy.
Makeup seems to glide on smoothly too.

Is this a routine you should use to clear your face? NO.

EVERYONE'S SKIN IS DIFFERENT!
WHAT WORKS FOR ME, MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU!

Try out these products at your own risk. I'm not a dermatologist but I've had some consultation and I've deduced what's good for me and what's bad for me.

Well, it's not flawfree.

My battle with whiteheads, big pores, oily skin and those pesky bumps aren't over.
I'm happy though, I got my acne under control.

Do tell me in the comments what your routines are, or if you've used any of the products here before!

Take care then!

Review: The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Home Fragrance Oil

This fragrance oil was part of the Christmas Collection I believe, from last year, and I also believe that it's something that they kind of release every Christmas? Well, I hope so anyway.

Yes, my fingers are dry as hell.
I bought mine while I was on holiday in KK last year, it retailed at RM18.90. I don't remember how much it was in Brunei. I recently bought another bottle because I loved it very much, while in KL...but I never realized how much they marked it up until I actually saw the price on my old bottle!

It was priced at RM25!

Sure, it's limited edition but they had so many in stock!
Maybe it's because it's in West Malaysia?

Maybe the price has always been like that but wow, the difference is surprising!

If I'm not mistaken, even Brunei is still selling them at a more affordable price (I might be wrong though, I should check next time I go out), sadly they don't have Cranberry Joy in-stock anymore, sadly.

But if I'm not mistaken they still have the vanilla and the ginger one.
I should buy the ginger one as I actually liked the scent too.

Anyway, on to the review~

This fragrance oil contains 10ml of product, it's in their signature bottles with the safety cap, except much more posh, I must say. I liked how the cap has a golden-ish glittery look to it, with the wordings in gold against the dominant red. It's posh, I say.

Here's a nicer photo from the official TBS site.

It is made with the Community Fair Trade Soya Oil, in the UK.

I looked around on the sites and I don't think they're selling it anymore, so if you do come across it, lucky you!

From their site, they just say: Fresh Berry Aroma

Fresh berries?
So, uh, is it just Cranberry or is it mixed with other berries?

Either way, if your room somehow smells (they just fixed my a/c, so it smells like gas) or you just need a relaxing and yummy smell, I really recommend this.

All you need is a few drops on your oil burner and your room will be engulfed with a sweet berry scent!

It lasts a long time too!

I bought a backup because I'm a hoarder like that but believe me, the bottle I'm holding in the pic is the one from last year, and you can see that I barely made a dent in it!

Oh wait, I take that back, you can't really see.

LOL.

This is one scent I keep going back to when I need a pick-me-up, it can get too strong if you accidentally put too much but you can dilute it with water, just make sure you don't do it while the burner is hot, like what I did >_>;

It cracked.
I cried.

So yeah, if you ever come across it, or if TBS will release it again, I do recommend this product!

I hope they release it on the permanent line, if ever.

I haven't bought their other fragrance oils but I do have my eye on some of them already :)

With TBS Home Fragrance Oil, you don't need a lot of product, so it'll last you a long time.

PROS:

- Smells divine.
- 10ml of product lasts you a long time.
- It doesn't stain your fragrance burner.
- One or two drops is enough to give your room the sweet scent.
- Posh & sturdy packaging.

CONS:

- Not available all year round.
- Expensive unless you buy it in the UK or during a sale.
- A rare item to hunt down should you run out of it.
- It can be overpowering if not used carefully.

Rating: 4.5/5 (it would have gotten a full 5 but since it's not a permanent line, I had to take that into account!)

'til then, take care!

-Nisah-

P.S: I just put up a For Sale page, do check it if you're interested in buying hairchalks!

Forget My Birthday Post, Here's My Makeup Haul!

Lol the title is just...lol. But honestly, I'd rather share photos than write a full blogpost. Oops.
I just got home yesterday night. It was tiring but I'm glad I came home and everything came home safe. It's like "THAT'S FRAGILE" all the way.

Anyway, I'm just excited to share the makeup/skincare I got.
And one re-buy that I regret not hoarding lol (it's not makeup XD)

I'll also list out the prices (Yay~) because I kept all the receipts. I think.

Most of the items aren't planned, only some are. Obviously. Some items I didn't manage to get too though, but I'm content!

Here's the haul!

On the first day, we went to Pavillion KL, I had to bite my lips as we walked past Sephora at Starhill Gallery. Now, that's what I call patience!

Not in this is my makeup remover wipes from SaSa btw.

I got a few things not in my list there:

TBS Cranberry Joy Fragrance Oil (RM25)
TBS Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner (RM39)
TBS Colour Crush Eyeshadow in Golden Girl (RM38)
They had this buy 3 and get 20% off promotion so yeah, three things.
I should have just bought three of the cranberry oil because I LOVE THAT.
And it's limited edition, so yeah :x

Golden Girl is a pretty colour, swatched buttery smooth. Just love.
Does it justify the price? Hm. Not so much LOL but the price point is similar to that of theBalm.

Next is this and a facial sauna (FINALLY)

elite Starlight Eyeshadow in Matt Choco (RM17)
This wasn't planned at all but I loved it when I swatched it...was actually planning to get PeriPera or Clio from Watsons but gdi, the testers were killing them for me >_>;

You see, I've always wanted a home facial sauna, and Watsons selling their house brand sauna for friggin RM39.90! Who wouldn't want that???

Moving on~
Stupid Pavillion got Etude House so I strayed there.

BAM.

Nymph Aura Volumer Baby Glow Balm in #03 Sand Beige (RM119.90)
Wonder Pore Freshener (RM79.90)
I've always eyed the Baby Glow but I didn't double check the price before I bought it. Rest assured, it's cheaper in Brunei >_>;

But I got this because it as Buy 1 Free 1 Promotion. Of course you pay for the more expensive item. I should've gotten both the Baby Glow balms just because it was pricy LOL.

But I've always wanted to try out the Wonder Pore Freshener, so yeah...

I just saw it as paying for both products rather than a BOGO LOL.

My mom was at Coach for a long time >_>; until it rained before we managed to go to Sephora.

I didn't manage to stare in awe because I went in with a mission:

Get in, Get it and Go.
The Three Gs you need to abide by if you don't wanna spend too much.

So yeah, I rushed in, paid no attention to anything else other than the Urban Decay, Benefit and TooFaced aisle.

Looked around the Benefit World Famous Neutrals and BAM, I got it.

Real reason why I wanted it is because of these babies:

Discontinued (old packaging at least) Creaseless Cream Shadows
Then I moved on to Urban Decay (although it was the first thing you see when you get in)

I asked for the Theodora Palette and BAM, got it.
And then had a moment to choose between Naked and Naked 2.
Naked 2 won. GOT IT.

I went to TooFaced to swatch but I wasn't majorly impressed (or rather, I didn't want to be impressed, to save money)

SEPHORA
UD Naked 2 Palette (RM179)
UD Theodora Palette (RM180)
benefit World Famous Neutrals in Most Glamorous Nudes Ever (RM115)
Theodora is more pricey because well, it's limited edition and well, new.
Glinda was there too, being all pretty and shit but I told myself NO, because I didn't like the colours as much.

It wouldn't look good on me.

Oh, and spot that ziplock bag?
That's the UD Basic Launch GWP Promo set.
Got it from buying UD I guess.
I'm guessing everyone got the same thing (also guessing it's not the selling like hotcakes ones)

The Insides.
-2 Full-sized UD Vintage Eyeshadows in Midinight Cowboy and Goddess.
-2 Sample-sized UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Electric and Covet.
-1 Full-sized Clean & Sober Oil-Free Makeup Remover
-2 Sample Sachets of Primer Potions in Sin and Original
-1 Sample-sized UD Skyscraper Multi Benefit Mascara

(as I'm typing this, Midnight Cowboy fell from it's home, and now I have glitter everywhere)

Not sure of the value but a lot, I guess.
I'm quite happy with the samples except that the two colours are meh.
One was broken (Midnight Cowboy) and one was not the smoothest (Goddess).

I fixed Midnight Cowboy as soon as I stepped back into my room though, it was Glitter Mania.

See that mess around? Yeah, that's from Midnight Cowboy LOL. (This was before I fixed it)
I loved the colour and payoff of MC but the glitter was just too much D: as I fixed it, it was everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

Goddess is pretty in the pan, not that pretty on its own but gorgeous over a black base.
I tried it. Not on my eyes yet though.

That same night, we went to Parkson and uh, oops:

In my wishlist, but not planned (RM19.90)
I wanted Tenacious Teal but no place had it!
I got this at Parksons, and I also saw it at Caring Pharmacy.

Didn't see it at Watsons, Guardian or SaSa D:

A nice salesgirl also uh, co-erced me into buying this one:

Max Factor Max Effect Dip-In Eyeshadow in Ultra Violet (RM36)
It's pretty, but I really had no plans to buy it ):
At least I know I don't have anything similar!

I really wanted this so I got it~

CLIO Professional Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner Mini Set (RM51.90 N/P: RM79.90)
All the testers I tried everywhere sucked.
I nearly didn't get this BUT the place that had this, the ONLY SaSa I found that had this had good testers!!

And I liked it, so I bought it LOL.

...last but not least:

My first M.A.C item!

M.A.C Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (RM72)
How pretty o.o
I actually wanted to NOT get this.
I wanted to buy NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone instead but unfortunately Sephora ran out of stock.

This was actually bought in the airport, KLIA.
It's normally RM75 I believe, but it was less RM3 in the airport. Weird huh?

Or maybe it's just this colour.

Or I might be wrong.

Mom got this for me. She also got me the Naked 2 Palette.

I didn't buy much (to my standards), I'm actually proud that I stuck by to some of the things I wanted to buy and refused to buy other things when I set my eyes on something.

Except for a few unplanned things, I'm proud that I didn't go crazy at Sephora nor at SaSa.

I'm learning. Slowly.

Unfortunately most of the things I bought are expensive...
So yeah ):

That's the first part of my KL Haul btw lol.

So yeah!

Take care!

P.S: I post most of my hauls and stuff on my Instagram usually, but since I mixed it with personal vaining and stuff, following me is a choice lol. You either click the tab up there or just click here :D

Collective Haul + Update

So yeah, here comes a pic heavy blogpost y'all!

Kinda.

So this is basically a collective haul that I hauled in 2 weeks or so. Kinda. And some gifts here and there. Most of them? Impulse buys, not gonna lie.

I don't remember which came first but yeah, I do distinctly remember some bits here and there~

Let's start:

Talking about Etude House Haul~ (in Two Days)

First day. Uhm. The brushes and the small pump thing is from Super Save btw.
Look at My Eyes in: Lemon Sherbet, Milk Cocoa, Silver Gray
Okay, lemme explain.
I got these three for BND$9.90.

What a steal right?? They were having a clearance sale. I decided to choose a set that was most 'me'. Well to be honest, I like the yellow and brown. But the gray----I thought it was a purple.

I don't like the gray one yet. But it might looks nice layered over a white base. Or for a smokey look.

Swatches of all three.
As you can see, the colour payout for the gray one is a bit disappointing. It's more gritty than smooth like the other two. I once ranted how Korean eyeshadows are always shimmer and no colour but this proved me wrong.

The yellow would look awesome above my 'Base Hit Kit' I think.

Second item I got was:

A Missing U! Tin
I've always wanted one, reason being I needed a place to store my magnetic eyeshadows I got from e.l.f cosmetics. Plus, it's cute :D

Lemon Sugar Hand Lotion
Now this one was an impulse buy. It was on the counter. For a dollar. Last one too...so yeah, I grabbed it and the rest was history. It's decent, it smells weirdly like lemony alcohol rather than sugary.

Oh yeah, my favourite SA, Princess Tara (I think) was there and she complimented my nails XD
I told her two of the colours were from Etude House and one of them was from TheFaceShop.

I was sad the colour wasn't available anymore. The deeper pink, because I wanted to do a giveaway with it! It's okay, I'll find a dupe!

On the same day, I also went to The Body Shop.
My sis who is studying in the UK recommended me this Deep Sleep spray, however when we went there, we found out that it was banned in Brunei o.o

Why? I guess they fear people would misuse it.

So dad got me this instead:

An oil burner and an essential oil in 'Quiet Night'
Did it work?
It did make me drowsy but not enough to sleep I guess.

Can't deny how Halloween-y it looks like.
It smells nice though.

EDIT: Nearly forgot. On the day I went there, Josesphine was there too lol. I greeted her. I asked her if she remembered me. She took a while, because I was wearing my contacts. Then I reminded her that I was the girl with the allergy LOL. She immediately remembered.

I told her that I was having hard time sleeping (Like right now) and that it's taking a toll on my skin (acne D:). She asked me and my sis to smell lavender and then it wasn't pleasant. She told us, if the lavender smells bad to us, that means we're stressed.

I swatched this lovely colour called Golden Paprika. I WAS IN LOVE.
UGH.

But then I just got something from Etude House so no.

She thanked us for still patronising The Body Shop (even after what had happened).

Well, to be fair, I've always like The Body Shop. It's just a shame I got a bad allergic reaction. She told me they've reformulated the body mist now but I haven't tried it.

My look of the day on that day. LOL
Damn, it got desaturated like hell, sorry.

Oh yeah, I also got this thing...from WW Mart:

Brush Holder/Drier
Really helpful :D Other than this, I also got two other plasticky things. I used it to put my makeup palettes and my skincare stuff.

And then something happened.

My weird self got the best of me.

I wanted MORE of the Etude House eyeshadows. At least another set.

So I got it.
Begrudgingly.

I also wanted to get the flat-top brush from Super Save for my cousin BUT it was sold out D: what. The day before that, there were FIVE or SIX more, I swear!!

Wtf.

So yeah, I got this:

Look at My Eyes in: Apricot Illusion and Vanilla Cream.
Look at My Eyes Icing in: Sugar Icing
Actually, for this set, it had the same Milk Cocoa shade but the SA was kind enough to exchange one colour since I told her I bought the same colour the day before. The manager was there too :)

I haven't opened these as I find no need to, yet. I might open the Sugar Icing, to check the texture, which the SA said is gel-like.

My favourite SA wasn't there D:

But I always kinda love Etude House SAs, they're always helpful and they smile a lot more, I noticed, than the other SAs I've encountered so far.

Yesterday, my sister gave me this dress she ordered online that didn't fit her:

Lovely colour for my skintone. Sorry for the bad photo ><
Unfortunately, it's bare-back.
She said I should either sew a chiffon based fabric to the dress or wear something else that covers it up.

It's a weird dress. Doesn't show my fat stomach that much LOL.

Hair accessory/band from SJ
I wore this today when I went out, it went well with my blue polkadot shirt:

This is true to colour I think.
But yeah, you can't really see the band:

Crappy front camera.
I didn't wear any eyeshadows today, just BB Cream and my Tutti Frutti Lip Butter.

Derp.
I actually wanted to tuck in my shirt but everyone opposed D:

Too 90s?
Actually I had my hair in two tiny buns but this was after going out LOL.
Because I didn't have time to vain before going out for sushi.

Fits my mouth okay.
I had mostly vegetable based sushi. Was craving for the veggies.

Impulse Buy
I didn't mean to get them, I swear!!!

I only wanted the nailpolish but then I saw the sugar scrub!!

But after I bought it, I realized.
What was I thinking??

It was overpriced D:

Damn. Even with member's discount it was still overpriced.

But the nailpolish colour was to die for D: It's in GR505, btw.

Last but not least~

Here are the products I use mostly when I go out:

'Base Hit Kit', 'Mischievous Marissa', Petit BB Cream in 'Clearing'
My disgusting concealer palette. (Which I do recommend, btw LOL)
Either one of the lip products and also, the Sexy Mama Translucent Powder which I still don't know how to use.
So yeah....

You know, I'm contemplating on giving away the same kind of concealer palette or the 15 colour concealer palette in the future. Which one would you prefer?

I honestly do like this one, it's not that creamy. It depends. If your skin is too dry, don't even think of this palette lol. Use a liquid concealer!

I haven't found a holy grail for my foundation routine. That's smudge-proof, oil-proof, etc.

Oh and, I wanna adopt this cat :D

Her name is Pinky!

But I might call her Pinky Marina.

Look at her surprised eyes O.O
I hope she'll be a good baby.

And that she'll make me happy.

I think that's all for an update XD;

Hope you enjoyed my collective haul post!

Yes, I can hear you.

I need to not go to shops for a month.

Damn.

So yeah, good night :D

I have an appointment tomorrow with the Endoscopy specialist.

I hope everything's fine.

Take care, everyone!!

-Nisah-

P.S: If you haven't already, join my 100th Post Giveaway here!! I'll be adding some brushes because the sponge applicators are too harsh for the eyes!
