Review: Etude House Face Conditioning Cream

Hi guys! It's August and it's been AGES since I've written a post or a review.
I totally forgot how to write one.

For this particular product, I'll try and make it short and sweet.
To sum it up: I LOVE THIS!

The product I'm reviewing is the Etude House 'Face Conditioning Cream'.

Etude House Face Conditioning Cream

PRODUCT INFORMATION

This is a 3 in 1 product that acts as a moisturiser, primer and also sunscreen! It contains 75g of product and has SPF25 PA++. It is housed in a squeeze tube. This product can be used on its own or under makeup, as it is advertised as the perfect adhesive for makeup. This product is made in Korea and should be used up within 12 months. The price in Brunei is BND21.90.

The translation for it on eBay. Excuse the Engrish lol

When I bought this, I asked about the other variant, which is the Face Conditioning Cream Light. I believe that that's meant to be more for oily skin? I might be wrong but there's not really much information around. Well, Etude doesn't have it yet.

Anyway, I went ahead and bought this on a whim. I saw Bubzbeauty raving about it and I know she has oily-combination-sensitive skin so I thought it'd be safe for me to use. Etude was having a sale that time too and I really needed a good product for my dry cheeks and oily T-zone!

I'm so glad I bought this.

To start off, I have a foundation that oxidises on me like crazy, so I never wore it. I went ahead and used this on the first day of Eid under the Revlon Colorstay Foundation. My face never looked better. Due to my recent hormonal breakouts and clogged pores, this product was a saviour! The foundation didn't even oxidise! And it barely moved!

Even using it under a BB cream that doesn't last long, it made it look nice, less cakey. I also noticed less fading...other than the area under my glasses and some areas I didn't bother covering properly (dark spots).

Depending on what foundation or BB cream I use, the oil control varies. For the Colorstay, it lasted about 5-6 hours without much oil, even my cousin commented my skin looked like healthy skin! For the BB creams I tried it with, one was about 3-4 hours an the other got oily just very slightly around the nose at the 2 hour mark. But all in all, my skin still looked presentable.

Since I have an oily T-zone, I apply it all over my face after toner. A little product goes a long way. The cream doesn't leave a noticeable white cast over my face. It leaves my skin smooth and plump, and slightly sticky, perfect for foundation to adhere to.

It doesn't really conceal my pores, so I do need a separate pore filler but I'm not complaining much.

I think I've found my holy grail primer (for the time being).
FINALLY!

---

PROS:

- Fantastic primer to make foundation last long.
- Oil control is good enough for me.
- Makes skin plump and smooth.
- Very lightweight.
- Doesn't clog my pores.
- Locally available.

CONS:

- Price is slightly high for the amount of product you get.
- Would have preferred a pump.
- The squeeze tube is too sensitive (easily squeezed).
- (EDIT) Somehow it doesn't work well with EH face products :/

Rating: 4.5/5 (First primer that doesn't clog my pores!)

Will I buy this again?

YES! I am curious about the Light variant though!

Do I recommend this?

Yes, but that depends on your skin needs.

Where can you find this?

You can buy this locally from Etude House Brunei.
You can also find this online :)

---

Hopefully that helps you out.

I'll take photos later hopefully if I wake up early lol.
I feel slightly sick.

'til then, take care!

Eid Mubarak :D

New Skincare + Upcoming Reviews

Hi guys! It's been a while.
It's February and this is my first post of the month!

Sorry.

Uni's taking over, and some personal life too.
I HAVE been trying out products here and there, formed my opinion, but haven't taken pics and all that.

In fact, in between my last update and now, I just changed my skincare routine like, 3 days ago? Or 4.

I'm now using the Collagen Plus Vit E skincare set.
I just changed it like, BAM kind of thing, not really giving it time to settle in.

I'm using the:

- Whitening Beauty Soap
- Whitening Beauty Toner
- Day & Night Cream

I don't normally change my skincare drastically like that since I do have experience with bad breakouts. I did have like 2 breakouts, one on my nose and one on my cheek when I started this BUT I really think it's from the foundation I was trying out.

I'm on day 3 or 4 and I noticed parts of my face having less bumps, but felt like there's two that's flaring up.

That's where my Mario Badescu comes in.

The reason why I changed to this is because my sis-in-law's skin just looks fairer and glowy!
I'm like "I WANT THAT" because my face is a lot darker than the rest of my body.

I've been using less makeup though. With the day cream, I just use it to even out my face and then cover dark marks with a concealer. Sometimes I set it with powder. I still do conceal my dark undereyes of course.

But that's about it.

Since I started uni, the hassle to do eyeliner and eyeshadow and all that---it's just, like I said, a hassle.

Sometimes when I go out with my friend, I just go almost barefaced. I look younger that way.

I don't even do my brows anymore.

My makeup cries.

Oh, make sure you buy the authentic skincare btw. Even though my sis made sure it's the authentic one, I feel a bit paranoid still. But so far, no adverse effects and stuff.

ANYWAY, here's the list of upcoming reviews:

- Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent
- Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips Talk in JOR203
- Etude House Play Color Eyes Palette in #2 So Chic Play
- essence Stay All Day 16H Long-Lasting Make-Up in 10 Soft Beige
- Catrice All Round Concealer Palette
- Garnier BB Eye Roll-On

....and no, I haven't taken pics.
Hopefully I can, later, after I do laundry.

I hope it won't rain ( ;-; )

Truth be told, I have tried so many products now but since I rotate a lot, sometimes I forget my thoughts on it ( u.u ) it happens.

My memory sucks.

I'm a bit sleepy.
Should sleep.

Goodnight, take care!

UK Haul :D (Through My Parents)

Yes, you read that right.
Through my parents! LOL.

They just came back from the UK. They were there for my sister's graduation.

I didn't ask for much, I actually got all the things I asked for, and some.

My dad kinda indulged in some pricey skincare ( ;^; ) I feel like they scammed him! (I wish he'd remember the price tbh, so I can check)

If it works well though, then I'd be in a pickle to see if I'd EVER repurchase them XD

My mom bought me some questionable clothes. In small sizes because she thought I'm stick thin now.
FALSE.

Oh mom XD;

Anyway, here's what they got me~

Mom's Picks.
The blue shirt is from Forever21. I quite liked that one.
It fits well.

THEN comes the weird shirt with tassels everywhere! Mom thought it'd suit me.
Uh. Mommmmmmmm noooo.

Plus it's S-sized. I'm an L.

It fits, but I look so fat in it.
Plus, my niece said I looked like a bird.

The black lace shirt is pretty but...it's a lace backing and lace peplum and stuff.
Looks good but too revealing and I look fat XD

The white lace shirt is cute but mom got it in M-size u.u;
I look super fat.

To fit these small clothes, I need to lose at least 5-10KG.

She also got me this sweater from H&M. It fits fine.
MOTIVATION!!!!

Dad's Picks.
Dad got me some cute trousers :D it looks nice.
He also picked a Dorothy Perkins' dress~

Mom insisted on choosing a smaller size but thankfully dad decided to keep the larger one.
By far, the dress is my favourite.

I've been slowly trying to see if the Peter Pan collar fits me but mom took it very seriously and chose it all based on that XD;

But yeah, losing that much weight might be beneficial for me.

Soap&Co. Stuff
When dad took this out of his bag, he was like "This cost 100+ pounds."
He said this while taking out the Body Scrub.

I was like "WHAT."

A scrub that cost that much??? FOR REAL?? DAD!!!

After all the confusion it turned out that overall everything cost that much.
Still, quite expensive really.

I feel like the saleslady scammed him though :x

Dad got me the Ocean Body Scrub, Mineral Peeling Gel and the quite popular Nail Kit in Passion.

Next are the things I asked from my mom!

Two of each!
MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer (BOGO I think)
She bought two of the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in Transparent.

LUSH is LOVE.
Then comes the things I asked for from LUSH :D
She got all the things I wanted plus one extra.

The Power Liquid Lipstick!
LUSH gave some free disposable makeup applicators since my mom asked lol.
I wished they gave some samples from their soap or something!

I tried both Herbalism and Mask of Magnaminty...
LOVED the smell of the mask!! It's like Peppermint & Pistachio Ice Cream!
It contains no pistachios though.

My first Coach bag.
Mom decided to buy everyone a Coach bag.
( =w=* ) MOMMMM.

I have the purple one lol. It's for Raya so I didn't mind.
I personally don't really like Coach, to be completely honest.

How pretty is that??
Last but not least, a shawl from my sister.
I chose a blue one to fit my with new baju kurung.

Well, I hope it'll fit!

Have you guys prepared for Raya? LOL.

I feel spoiled :x Alhamdulillah though!
I wished the clothes were a lot bigger though, but still, it acts as motivation to lose weight XD

But if I DO lose weight, that means everything else would be loose D:

EEK.

Choices, choices.

But it'd be nice to be healthy and smaller in size for once.

I've never been thin.

Anyway, I'm a bit tired lol.

'til then, take care!!

Review: PMD (Personal Microderm)

Hi guys :D
I finally managed to friggin' stop procrastinating and finish this review!

PMD (Personal Microderm)
I ordered this product last year, around May. It arrived May 4th. It arrived in 4 days from America :D

What I ordered was the PMD itself and a replacement disc set, the blue one.
Right now, I've moved to the green disc so I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the blue one LOL.

The PMD I ordered is the International version, which costs USD181, the replacement discs are USD14.95. I believe that I ordered it with a code, because the total was USD146.96.

THEN THERE'S SHIPPING.

Shipping was USD32.95

So overall, it cost: USD179.91

Converted, that's BND227!
But yeah, I wouldn't have gotten this if I didn't tell my mom about how good it is LOL.

She got it for me, planning to use it too but in the end only I'm the user >_>;
Oh mommy.

With that price-tag, do I think it's worth it? Read on to find out!

---

So, how did I end up buying this product in the first place?

1: Paid for a microdermabrasion package at Skintologist for about BND850+ for 10 treatments. If it's stand-alone, it's BND120/treatment. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT MORE THAN ONE PMD!!!

2: I sometimes don't have time to go for my treatments, heck, I still have two sessions.

3: Skintologist itself said 10 treatments aren't enough but I'm not crazy enough to pay another BND850+ for the treatment.

4: My acne can't wait back then. My scars I mean.

5: There was a sale code!

Seeing YT gurus getting sent this product didn't make it any better either lol. But I preferred the reviews of those who actually bought it, NOT BEING SENT IT.

Immediate results? HM.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Uncover vibrant, healthy skin with PMD Personal Microderm. It uses the same Aluminum Oxide crystals on the patented spinning discs, replicating the treatment given in Doctor’s offices. Vacuum action gently pulls skin towards the disc for optimum exfoliation. Once the hand-held tool removes the dead skin cells and reveals a clear, healthy complexion, your skin is able to absorb products much more effectively. The system includes 3 levels of exfoliating discs for controlled intensity.
With this system, women of all skin types are able to rejuvenate their skin, building brilliant confidence. The PMD Personal Microderm device unclogs pores, smooths, evens tone, reduces blemishes and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Mine didn't come with the White "Extra Gentle" disc. I guess that's new!
There's also another version, the PMD Pro, which costs USD199.
For this version, it has 2 speeds.

PMD Pro

There are 4 kinds of replacement discs you can get for the PMD:

White (Training/Ultra Sensitive Skin)

For PMD Personal Microdermabrasion users with sensitive skin or are learning to use the device. The White discs provide the lowest level of exfoliation.

Blue (Sensitive Skin)

For PMD Personal Microdermabrasion users with sensitive skin or first time users. The Blue discs provide the second level of exfoliation (White is the lowest).
Green (Normal Skin)

For PMD Personal Microdermabrasion users with normal (non-sensitive) skin or those who’ve used the device before. The Green discs provide the third level of exfoliation (White is the lowest, Blue is second).
Red (Normal Skin)

For PMD Personal Microdermabrasion users with normal (non-sensitive) skin or those who’ve used the device before. The Red discs provide the fourth level of exfoliation (White is the lowest, Blue is second, Green is third).

With this, they also have some skincare that helps promote regeneration for the skin that's been sloughed off but I didn't order that! If you're interested, just go to the shop.

---

INCLUDED IN THIS BOX

-1 PMD
-6 Exfoliating Discs (2 Green, 4 Blue)
-1 Electric Cord
-2 Caps (1 Large for Body/1 Small for Face)
-1 Reusable Filter
-Instructions for Use (CD and Sheet)

The blue box is my replacement disc.
What's cool about the International Version is that it comes with four different kinds of plug adapter thingies. Just look at the picture to see what I mean LOL.

Convenient!
Naturally of course I'll go for the 3-Pin Plug :D

---

HOW TO USE

First, you'll have to watch the CD that comes with it for live demonstration.
It's actually a required step for you to use the product!!

Firstly, you have to be aware about your skin type.
If you have sensitive skin, go for the training one (which I didn't have) and the blue disc. This is gentle enough for newbies and for training.

Prior to using each discs, you are required to prep it over the palm of your hand, this makes it more suitable to use on the face.

The key element of using the PMD is to keep it moving and not repeat the same area more than once. ESPECIALLY for sensitive skin. You can move it horizontally and vertically. I prefer to just go with the flow since I have very strong thick skin (unfortunately).

Before using, you'll also need to adjust it. Decide what cap to use, whether for the face or the body, etc.

The discs are reminiscent of gentler sandpaper.
It does not hurt when you use it.

My PMD. Current disc is green.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

1. Cleanse your face. Wash it, remove all oil, makeup, and dirt. Make sure you don't have any stray hair hanging around.

(Be careful of your eyebrows too, I've got my brows PMD-ed once. It ain't pleasant)

2. Use your fingers to stretch your skin taut. Keep the PMD moving over your skin constantly. DO NOT HOVER IN ONE SPOT. This may result in irritation and scabs!

3. When the PMD is on contact with your skin, it will make a different suction sound. Move the PMD in upward and horizontal motions. You can focus more on trouble spots, just make sure you don't stay on one area too long and keep it moving.

4. Use either the recommended products or your own. Use cell renewal serums and creams. Apply toner to balance pH of skin. Wait 5 minutes. Apply serums and creams.

5. Apply the skincare everyday.

6. Use sunscreen for at least 3 days after treatment. As your skin will be sensitive. Applying sunscreen will also help prevent or reduce pigmentation of scars while under the sun.

7. You can use cosmetics after the treatment but I don't suggest that you do.

8. Clean your PMD. There will be an instruction on this. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.

9. Recommended use is ONCE A WEEK. But I think personally, for me, twice might be fine. Like I said: I HAVE THICK SKIN.

There are other Do's and Don'ts but yeah, you'll get to read it if you order the product!

---

Do I like this product?
Yeah, sure. I do. It's basically a cheaper way than going to facial places :T

However, it all depends on how dedicated and how often you use it.
You're supposed to use it at least 4 times a month, but I don't use it all that often.

I'm more comfortable to use it with a mirror right in front of me so it's a bit of a hassle.

I used to use it a lot when I had scars on my face. I mean, more scars than now.
But it was a bit scary to use the product when you're using skincare that is not all that natural.

I started using it again when I got reminded that I HAVE the product when I saw that Sarah bought one. I asked if she bought the skincare but she said she'll use Dr.Pico products with it.

THEN, it makes sense!

LOL.

So yeah, I've been using it together with it.

But not as often, I prefer to use gentle exfoliators or the sugar scrub ones.
But this works a lot well with dry, flaky skin. I noticed this.

With the PMD, the Hydrogel Mask sticks better.

However, I definitely think it's more of a tool that I need to push myself to use.

---

Let's move on to~

PROS:

-Cheaper way to have microdermabrasion at home rather than going to the facial salons.
-Sturdy and long lasting.
-Effective depending on how you use it.
-Affordable, if you compared it to salon prices.
-Different sensitivity discs for different skin.
-Has a skincare line you can use.
-Helped fade scars.

CONS:

-Only available online.
-Discs need to be changed a lot, if you use it quite often.
-Pricy, if you think about it.
-If you're lazy, like me, you might forget you even bought it LOL.
-Non-rechargeable, so it's not that convenient. You have to have the cable.

Rating: 3.5/5 (Useful but not a holy grail. It helps exfoliate skin better but you need to have a proper regime and dedication for it to be 100% effective. I haven't tried it with the skincare)

Will I buy this again?

No? Maybe just the discs. If I ever break it (GOD NO), then maybe. Especially when I'm older and my skin needs more love and more collagen to come out.

Do I recommend this?

Yeah if you have the funds for it and if you have problem skin.

Where can you buy this?

You can get it on the site, here.
There are other places but the site actually ships internationally so yeah!

---

That's it for my review. That was a long one!

I wanted to put as much details on tools, so you don't have to search for more info.
But you can always do that.

If you have it and you think it changed your skin, do leave a comment!

'til then, take care!!

Procrastination Haul

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been posting a lot.
Been thinking of it, but I couldn't bring myself to.

Yesterday something kinda "traumatic" happened to me.

Okay.
It was a haircut. An ugly one.

It was my fault though. I guess I'll talk about that next time. Hopefully tomorrow?

Anyway, let's get onto the haul. Mostly bought.

Recently, my sis came back from the UK and brought with her, something I ordered last year. Yeah. It's last year's stuff. It's not recent. I haven't been buying anything. Just two things, because I was looking for a powder to replace my BB Creams.

I have stopped using my BB Creams, I guess I might have a blogsale up soon.

Moving on...

I got a Two Way Cake from Pixy. My friend suggested it.
I decided to get two shades. I've only tried the Yellow Beige.
It is too light for me but I think I can use it for highlighting.

I also tried using it wet, it did not look good. LOL.

Pixy Two Way Cake Perfect Fit
But then again I didn't really use it properly I think. It's not too pricy either. I bought the refill because I figured that I didn't need a full compact. I kinda want to get a Z-Palette one day!

My sis got me some stuff from The Body Shop. The Banana Shampoo and Conditioner. I think I have too many bottles of the shampoo and I only have ONE conditioner >_>; Brunei doesn't carry the conditioner which is a bummer!

The shampoo on its own smells delightful but somehow it's drying :/

She also got me a Deep Sleep/Quiet Night Dreamy Pillow & Body Mist. I just noticed the name was different tonight lol. The one I got from KK is called Quiet Night. HM.

The Body Shop Mini Haul
She also brought back the MUA stuff I ordered last year.
I am on a makeup ban so I dunno how I feel about it lol.

I bought them last year okay.

MUA Nail Quake Polishes
One of them will be in my blogsale.

MUA Makeup Haul
I tried the MUA Pro-Brow Kit and I really like it!
I don't think I'll open any of them yet.
I might even sell some of them on the blogsale lol.

The most expensive haul I got is from Dr. Pico.
Honestly, I was excited for one item only, the Blackhead Serum.

I haven't even tried any of them yet.
I can't because they told me I would break out and I can't break out before my sister's engagement (It's on Saturday).

If it works like hell, then I'm in a pickle.

Dr.Pico Haul
Last but not least, I won these recently from a giveaway by Etude House Brunei.
I worked hard for it. LOL. Kinda embarrassed but I really, really wanted it.

Reason was that I didn't know it was limited edition UNTIL I checked that site I was gonna buy from. I kept asking and asking EH Brunei WHY they didn't bring it in, but they didn't say.

When I saw that they were giving them away I hyperventilated lol.
I was like "WHAT???"

So yeah.
Etude House Sweet Recipe Limited Edition Nail Polish
I wanted it and I got it.

They're so cute ( ;-; )

So yeah, that's my procrastination haul.

I think I'll be using the Dr.Pico stuff next week?
I'll be doing updates I guess since I'm borrowing my sister's camera so yay for HQ pics. (Minus one pic here lol)

...even though I suck at taking photos.

Drool.
I baked this last Saturday :D
It's supposedly a pumpkin pie but I guess it's more of a custard.

It's yummy.

So yeah, take care!

My giveaway is ending soon :)
Join it if you want to.

P.S: I'm doing a Modern Family Marathon :D
Join me? LOL

My Current Skincare Routine :D

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all well :)
I had sad news yesterday, with my psychiatrist having to go away, thus transferring me to someone else's care. I cried.

But anyway, let's focus on what the post is about, shall we?

Lyn asked last time what my current skincare routine was. I didn't want to do one without really sure of the things.

Truth is, my whole routine was disrupted when I ran out of my HG moisturiser and I haven't found a replacement. I had recently placed an order so hopefully it'll come back to my routine!

I used to rely on TWO main things: Eskinol Papaya Smooth White Facial Deep Cleanser and C+M Papaya Gel Moisturiser. I am not using any of those now. The reason why I had it as a routine was to fade my acne scars FAST.

I made do though.
I found a routine that works for me.

So far I haven't had any breakouts. The last breakout I had was on my nose, and it didn't occur to me to use my Mario Badescu, so I have a nasty scar there >_>; but that was 2-3 weeks ago.

Moving on!

Here are the facial washes I use~

Facial Cleansers & Scrub
I don't use them ALL at once! That's just crazy!
I use the scrub when my nose feels all congested and to scrub off some flaky scars. Do I think it works? So-so. It's not a miracle product.

Sometimes I also use two gentle scrubs from SkinFood for daily use.

Peeling Gel (Gentle Scrubs)
I use the St. Ives Apricot Cleanser when I feel like my face needs a gentle, gentle scrub. I use it when my pores are just feeling weirdly congested. After cleansing, usually it leaves my skin soft, not too dry.  This is supposed to fight blemishes.

I generally use the TheFaceShop Blemish Zero Bubble Foam Cleanser in the mornings. It's not harsh at all. I bought it due to the recommendation of a fellow blogger. It's really gentle, has a nice scent and leaves my skin feeling clean without stripping the natural oils.

Lastly, I use the Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser when I use makeup on that day. To make sure I removed all my makeup when I use my cleansing creams. You know what's the best weapon against acne? Removing your makeup properly. I try not to use this unless I did wear makeup. I think I tried using this daily, and it wasn't being nice to my skin. It's not harsh, but compared to the other two, it's the strongest of the bunch.

For me.

As for the moisturisers and toners~

I approve of this.
Truth be told, I have A LOT of toners. I also have A LOT of moisturisers. For moisturisers, it's more tricky though. If I hate the scent, I would really not use it. This is the case of moisturisers I buy online. LOL. Poor them.

I actually have a ton of facial cleansers too, ones that don't work for me or I just never bother reaching out for. I might use them again when I run out of some of the items.

Anyway~

My new beauty find that I happen to LOVE a lot is the HadaLabo Arbutin Whitening Lotion! For this one, I was afraid it would break me out, I read some reviews saying it breaks them out. However I think that happens if you use the milk too. I just have the "toner" version of it. For me, it works like a light moisturiser. If my skin is not that dry, I skip my snail cream and just end the day with this.

I recently finished my Eskinol Classic White Blackhead Prevent Facial Deep Cleanser, so I moved on to the lemon variant. I'm now using the Eskinol Oil Control Facial Deep Cleanser. My friend Kat uses this. Does it really help with oil? Nope. At least not for me LOL. I read online that this freaking dries them out! It doesn't for me. I am hoping that this helps fade scars since lemon is known for that.

It's gentle though, just like the papaya variant.

Depending on my mood, I would sometimes use The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. It doesn't mattify my face at all LOL. Then again, I'm not using the whole range for it. I like this, but I would stay away from my eyes I guess. This is pricy so I'm glad it's not my HG!

Although I gotta defend their oil control BECAUSE I use a moisturiser that kinda makes my face oily after a few hours. I use The Skin Shop Recovery Solution Cream as my moisturiser. I use this when my face feels very dry, or I have some popped pimples. It's supposed to help heal them faster. I like the scent too, but if I use it too heavily, it clogs my pores.

For my eyes, I use Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick. I usually don't bother to deal with my eyes though.

When I have bumps and acne, I spread a thin layer of the Mario Badescu Drying Cream.

Had I known, I would have used this on my nose earlier. This immediately calmed down the annoying painful nose acne!

So basically my daily routine is:

Cleanse Face -> Toner -> Lotion -> Moisturiser

If I use makeup:

Remove Makeup -> Cleanse Face -> Toner -> Lotion -> Moisturiser

I also generally use mud masks after I use makeup. It depends on how heavy it was.
If I feel like my skin needs to be decongested, I'd whip out my facial sauna, do nose strips and mud masks. I ALWAYS neglect my PMD though ( ;-; ) that expensive thing.

Yes, I do mud masks more than face masks. I need to use my face masks really ( ;-; )

Is my face perfect?
Nope.

In fact, I have congested pores sometimes, so I have to deal with the skin-like bumps here and there but generally, I'm happy.

Ever since I used the HadaLabo Lotion, I felt an improvement. Hence, I'm very happy.
Makeup seems to glide on smoothly too.

Is this a routine you should use to clear your face? NO.

EVERYONE'S SKIN IS DIFFERENT!
WHAT WORKS FOR ME, MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU!

Try out these products at your own risk. I'm not a dermatologist but I've had some consultation and I've deduced what's good for me and what's bad for me.

Well, it's not flawfree.

My battle with whiteheads, big pores, oily skin and those pesky bumps aren't over.
I'm happy though, I got my acne under control.

Do tell me in the comments what your routines are, or if you've used any of the products here before!

Take care then!

Last Sunday's LOTD and A Mini Haul

I went out on Sunday, and I rarely go out.
I wanted to actually check out Tony Moly's "Secret" promo. It wasn't that much. I didn't buy anything from them because my lil' sis was there to be my conscience LOL.

It was funny because while in the car, I was actually telling her that I learnt from a blogger that "If the discount is just 10%, it's not worth it. Don't bother." And well, Tony Moly had only member discount that time, which was 10%. LOL. I really don't listen to myself. They also have that HSBC discount but I don't get that.

So yeah, dad dropped us off at Airport Mall, then we walked to Times Square.

What I was wearing that day a.k.a Outfit of the Day/Night:

A girly look I guess?
I was wearing a white v-neck cotton shirt from Uniqlo I bought back in 2008 in Japan. Wow, that thing lasts long! XD It's still comfy, and I've worn it when I was fattest so it might be a bit loose? The peach/orange loose knit/lace thing is from Brands Outlet~ The skirt I kinda hiked up a bit because it was too long, that actually was from Labuan a LONG time ago. I've only started wearing it recently. It's actually an office skirt. I dunno what I was thinking back then, it was in 2004. I was only 13 then! Then I wore leggings. I wore my favourite shoes and the bag was from my sis' stash lol.

I GAINED WEIGHT D: NOOOOO.

My makeup and hair that day.
I also had my favourite lapis lazuli necklace :D See? Told you it goes with everything!
I had my hair in bubble style, I've only worn this out one other time back in 2011.

Hmph.
Unfortunately at the end, while still at Airport Mall, most of my hair-ties died on me. One by one D: I just gave up and undid everything when I went to Hua Ho Mall. It was fun while it lasted!

Under natural sunlight. I DO NOT LIKE MY BROWS.
Unfortunately my red dye has died.
Uguuu.

It's still light coloured but no longer red D:
I loved my red hair. DAMMIT.

Anyway~
We didn't manage to go to places much, because I had to meet up with someone around 7.30pm, WHICH my dad forgot about >_>; Sigh.

I managed to go to only TheFaceShop and buy some stuff from there. I had the vouchers from my birthday, I thought it was a waste to not use it...

So I bought these things!

Three things for BND30+ (even after discounts ._. )
Out of three of these, one of them is a real impulse buy.
One of them I really need.
Then the other was just curiosity.

Can you guess?

Here it is in the order:

Friggin Impulse Buy. BUY ME.
This is TFS Crystal Collection Nail Polish in BL601 (BND12.90)
It was love at first swatch D:
I normally don't buy expensive nail polish because I don't wear them everyday...
But my sis just HAD to swatch it on my finger.

I fell in love.
Since it's the time of the month this week, I decided to get it. So I can paint my nails and admire them. LOL.

After discount it was BND10.32. I do not approve :x
It was also the last one on the rack (for Times Square anyway)

The swatched nail is holding on well. No chipping, still going strong. Very prettily. I didn't even put top coat. I'll paint all my nails later.

I'm running out of the other item D:
I got this because it wasn't that pricey...well, no, actually it was. But then again, every item at TFS is kinda expensive D: WHY. This was priced at BND10.90. It was BND8.72 after discount.

After buying it, I had my fears that it might just not work that well. I have a DAISO one that I hate because of the smell. But I'm running out of it. And it doesn't work that well D:

But now that I read reviews...I'm scared this might not work on me D:
Some people said that the DAISO one works wonders compared to this. SO, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

Unfortunately, TFS' policy = GOODS SOLD ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Makes me wonder if they do refunds though LOL.

I'll just try it though and hope it's good.

Are you any better?
I have many mild exfoliants. Well, actually I have two. Both from SkinFood.
This is my third one. I was attracted to it because it's Papaya. I mean, papaya usually works.

I hope you're good. You cost me BND13.45 after discount. Normal price is BND26.90.

Of all the items, I'm pretty excited for the nail polish!

I'm gonna have pretty nails for a week.

I also got my Mey Rin wig on that day :D
I ordered it through a friend.

My first proper cosplay wig.

I'm so excited :D
This would be my first proper cosplay ever!
Hopefully.

I need to make/buy the costume. I'm sewing out a draft dress and I'm stuck at the sleeves.

It's more deep magenta in real life.
I need to cut the bangs D:
But I like it like this...

I'm so in love with this hairstyle D:
Or maybe it's the colour?
I love the short hairstyle so much I might just cut it like this in May.
I'm done with my long thick hair!

I'm so tired of it.

Plus it reminds me of someone I rather not remember anyway.

I really, really want this hair :O

But then I'll have to style it more :/

But yeah.

So that's my mini haul, and stuff.
I'm so sleepy.

I started exercising again *coughdancingcough* and I'm gonna eat better.

I should really start fixing my sleeping pattern if I wanna lose weight though.

So yeah, take care!

Do check out my recent reviews!

Have a great day!
