Recent SaSa.com Hauls & American Makeup in Brunei

Recent? Well one of them at least.

I don't remember when the other one came lol.
Both were small hauls so I decided to mix both. So far, I'm happy with all the things I bought this time!

Usually there'd be something that I won't even use *ahemC+Mstuff*

The moisturizers mostly, for the face. I dunno, I don't wanna risk something so oily on my acne-prone skin.

Not yet, anyway.

At least until my scars fade, it's easier to deal with a few breakouts. But my scars, that's a different story. I mean, I don't break out much often anymore :O I dunno what I did but I'm glad I did it lol. I do feel some bumps in the skin recently again, but I hope it's just paranoia.

This is because I've been using the C+M gel moisturizer from my latest haul. I hope it's not causing the bumps because it's really lightweight.

Anyway, onto the hauls.

This was the first haul:

This was relatively cheap. I'm sorry. lol.
This was the no-minimum free delivery.
Even though I was tempted. I didn't have a lot of cash in my cash card.

So yeah. This is the baby.

The eye gel is okay...I don't love it. I don't hate it either.

It's okay since it's my first eye product anyway.

The two body moisturizers from St.Ives is....LOVE.
Firstly, they smell amazing!! Similar scent though.

It's friendly to the body. To me anyway.
Would I buy the bigger size? Yes.

I think.

As for the lower lashes...It's kinda wonky on me. But for its price, it's okay.

The other box arrived recently and here are the things:

A decently sized soap. It's pink and it smells like roses.
A Vitamin E hair oil
A hand cream that smells like roses.

A lip balm that smells very...weird.

These things came in a classic packaging:

Classical ladies. Wonder why the brand is called 'Two Girls'.
It's just weird lol.

Why did I buy this set? Firstly it was affordable.
Secondly, it had all the things I like in it.

But in Rose scent which is...kinda meh for me.

I haven't used any of these yet :) Good Nisah.

The other things I got are a cream eyeliner and a gel moisturizer.

This made me go 'Wow' when I tried it.
This was a cheap eyeliner and it even came with a brush so I was like "Why not."

Tried it.
It's so waterproof like no one's business.

It dries so fast, it's even better than my other cream eyeliner!!

The only downside is that the 'Brown' is dark and that it has glitter chunks that to me are unnecessary.
It didn't budge from my oily eyelids!!

Unless I rub my eyes very hard.

As for the gel moisturizer....

I LOVE IT.

It's lightweight, smells nice, and it's small.

Finally something that works for me from C+M!!
But then...recently I've noticed bumps in the skin again.

Dunno if this is the cause or it's my weird sleeping pattern that's causing it.

Either way, I'd definitely repurchase this once I run out.

So yeah, not much of a bust haul I have to say :)
I had to like think very much which things I wanted.

I really wanna try out ESSENTIAL's hair masks!! Next time maybe since I still have a lot :(

It's way cheaper on sasa.com than in Brunei anyway.

Oh yeah, there's this shop at Kiulap Mall called "Shop @ Lisa Sarah's "?
I might be wrong but I did go check it out after my cousin told me about it.

It's a shop that has NYX, Sigma, TooFaced, Benefit, bareMinerals and even Urban Decay!!! They have Sephora stuff too if I'm not mistaken.

I was in makeup heaven!!!

The price made my heart sink though.

But that was to be expected. However, to see these things in front of you after all this time admiring it on Youtube, it's a weird thing.

I swatched a TooFaced palette and I swooned. So soft. So buttery soft.

Too bad there were no UD testers :(

It's marked up quite a lot.

For example, the UD NAKED Palette, it was BND135 or so.
At Sephora Malaysia, it's RM175.

So that's like BND70+

So like, if you have anyone going to Malaysia, might as well buy it there right? But it's nice to look at :)  They do have the limited edition palettes too so if you're a collector, I guess it won't hurt to buy it here.

As for authenticity, I can't say.
I'll say they're real and not replicas. It looked high quality to me.

But if you're not sure, always go to a place recognized as selling the authentic products.

I'm tempted to get the NAKED Palette but I have many neutral shadows :(

Maybe I should just get the UDPP for my super oily lids.

Do you recommend UDPP?

I'm actually very depressed today, so this is a half-assed post. Sorry :(

Take care :)

-Nisah-

P.S: This will be my 97th post :) You know what that means!!

Giveaway soon!!

It'll be posted on the 100th post :D

P.S2: I forgot to add, this is the compensation gift from sasa when they were out of stock on something:

Thanks.
I can keep my coins in this.

Baviphat Haul :D + Some Other Things

A Baviphat haul.
Why?

Because I felt like trying them out.
It also helps that they have 50% off at Paloma right now. Until the end of the month.

My reaction to that was: REALLY?

But then to be fair, checking the prices on the Baviphat site , it's clearly marked up twice as much.
For example, the BB Cream is BND23.90 here, but on ebay, it's around BND16. So to get it half the price, it's worth it. I mean, I wouldn't cry if it doesn't work on me as bad.

Plus, I needed to restock my favourite cleansing wipes from TheFaceShop mentioned here because I'm on my last wipe right now :(

2 out of the things I got on Friday were impulse buys. But I'm very happy with the nailpolish I got.

The ones I got yesterday, I did plan to get :)

Here they are :D

Firstly, the things I got on Friday:

From TheFaceShop and Paloma.
Ever since I watched Lisa Eldrige's 60's Makeup Tutorial , I wanted to get a nude lipstick.

Well, I accidentally came across one that would fit my skintone :O
This was originally BND14.90, so it became BND7.45!!

It's a bit sheer and slightly shimmery but it's creamy :)

It's in shade 5, 'Creamy Brown'

Doubt this shows its colours well :/ It's very pretty in real life.
The box it came with is so cute too!!

I'm definitely liking it.
It can emphasize the cracks on my lips but I haven't been exfoliating my lips well in recent times :(

The nail polish I got from TheFaceShop is so pretty :O

I've always wanted one in a Hatsune Miku-like colour and it looked nice.

Compared to the failed Mint Green Etude House polish, this is definitely better.

It's actually Tiffany Blue in colour:

Googled 'Tiffany Blue'
Instagram filter, my bad D: Plus, quick application by my sister.
I think it's a bit more lighter than Tiffany Blue though :O

But definitely this shade.

For yesterday's haul, this is what I got:

Baviphat Haul :D
I got lipsticks in shades 1 and 8.

In shade 8, ....Elegant Beige?
This is very similar in real life. I think.

It's a coral colour :) and I don't really have a coral colour yet :D

Shade 1, I haven't opened it but it's another nude-ish colour.

This is more matte in texture to me.
I like it on me but not as much as I liked the other one.

You can view more shades here .

The saleslady recommended another BB Cream but it was in a set and it cost around BND37-39 before discount so I didn't want that.

So I got the Magic Girls Fresh For Oily Skin BB Cream. It's #1 for your reference if you wanna buy it online. #2 is for dry skin so it has moisturizing qualities.

I haven't opened this yet, it still has its seal.

I was skeptical about this one because when I opened it, it looked cheap.
The sticker was not sticking properly... D:

But then I read that it's normal that way.

It smells floral-y like how it should be, according to online sources.

I'm not gonna use this yet until I finish up either the Skinz BB Cream or Peach Sake BB Cream.

The last thing I got is the lip scrub.

I tried it tonight.
So far, not impressed :/

It kinda does taste like soap LOL.

But I haven't got to the grainier granules lol so that might change.

Oh, and if you've noticed.
I said I got only two shades of new lipstick :) But there are three lipsticks in the photo.

Well.

I bought another Shade 8 because I liked the shade so much I wanted to include it in my future 100th Post Giveaway.

It's not long until that post :)

Are you excited?

It's nothing much, I'm still a student dependent on her parents.

But I carefully picked them, made sure I tried the things I got and liked them before including them.
It's just a few things.

I can't believe I'm close to a 100th post.
Thought I'd quit a long time ago because that's how it was like for me with blogs.

So please come celebrate with me once I do reach it :)
And join the future giveaway :D

Okay~?

Okay then, goodnight!

Take care, all.

P.S: I've been baking LOTS of cookies lately :O

Love/Hate Products: August

OMG.
It has been SO LONG since I blogged.
I mean, properly.

First thing's first: SELAMAT HARI RAYA, MAAF ZAHIR & BATIN!!

I actually have a lot of mini hauls I did, ordered things from SaSa, from abroad...but things happened and I'm just not into it.

But I do have a collection of what I'm loving and maybe two products that is subpar from the rest.
Most of them are loves though :) which is really good.

Don't you think so?

I'm supposed to be sleeping since I have an early morning. Kinda.
I have a meeting later at university and I hope I can wake up early.

Anyway, moving on, let's talk about these products!

Skinz UV White Perfect White BB Cream
theBalm Time Balm Face Primer
SkinFood Vita Juice Hand Essence
Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer in shade 2
TheFaceShop Herb Day Cleansing Wipes
L'Oreal Anti-Frizz Serum

St.Ives Intensive Healing, Skin Renewing Body Lotions
L.A Colors Cafe Au Lait Palette
Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner in (I'm NOT sure lol)
next Paradise (perfume)
Maybelline Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry
SilkyGirl Pure Fresh Oil-Control Pressed Powder SPF 20
Skinz UV White Perfect White BB Cream (Love)

This was something I bought on a whim. I saw its adverts on CLEO so I was interested, but I never thought of getting it that soon. I was just walking around a supermarket when the saleslady just recommended it. She was offering 2 for a big discount but I only wanted one. I still got discount for it though. To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it at first because when she swatched it on my hand, it was pinkish white. However, on my face, it just blends after a few minutes. It has been my go-to BB Cream for a few weeks, so I have little left. It's about the same amount as my Peach Sake BB Cream. Will definitely do a full review on this one!

theBalm Time Balm Face Primer (Love/Hate)

This is the first love/hate product I have in this list. Why? Because at first it didn't work for me. It broke me out, it aggravated my acne BUT I decided to give it another chance because my acne's getting better and I've doubled my effort to cleanse my skin thoroughly every night. Sometimes it provides the best oil control but sometimes it doesn't. Weird, right? I hate the fact that it's expensive and lasts only 6 months. I also love the scent. I MIGHT do a full review on this.

SkinFood Vita Juice Hand Essence (Love)

I hated myself for even considering buying this but then I got this for redeeming my card. I didn't regret it. This is my third hand cream (I've tried two and I hated the smell and it was so sticky) and I'm loving it. It's lightweight, it absorbs fast and it smells fresh. Citrusy but not overpowering. It does soften my hand but sometimes it's not enough. But points go to the fact that the scent and texture is nice.

Etude House Surprise Essence Concealer (Love?/Hate)

This...I dunno. I kinda hate it more that I love it. I got this because my favourite SkinFood Rice Concealer smudges when I cry and the saleslady said this was waterproof. Is it? I'm not sure yet. I don't think so. Comparing my favourite concealer with this, the former provides more buildable coverage and blends easily. This, however, dries so fast on the face before I even manage to blend it. I do like it for my undereyes. I'm still trying to work this out. So far, not impressed.

TheFaceShop Herb Day Cleansing Wipes (Love)

Oh God. This has made my makeup cleaning routine much easier than before. More thorough. Depending on how thick my makeup is, sometimes I only need this to clean my face but somehow with eye makeup, I need my eyemakeup remover still. But I love this. Too bad there's only 20 wipes in it. What I do is cut them into two or three and use it based on how much makeup is on my face. It's not that expensive though.

L'Oreal Anti-Frizz Serum (Love/Hate)

I love this, especially the scent. It works well with my hair but I have such thick hair, I need to use a lot.  It works fine for a few hours but then it loses its powers soon after lol. My hair then gets affected by the surroundings that it gets very rough D: but for the scent itself, I love it to bits.

St.Ives Intense Healing, Skin Renewing Body Lotion (Love?)

Again, this is another product I love for the scent. Both somehow smells the same. Texture-wise, it's also the same. Effect? I'm not sure yet but I love to use them on my arms. It's very lightweight and absorbs fast. It's also cheap. Ish. Would I buy the full size? Maybe. This is a pleasant product to use.

L.A Colors Cafe Au Lait Palette (Love)

I got this because I'm gonna use it for my first giveaway :D I mean, I can't give it out without knowing how good it is. Is it good? Yeah. For its price, very. The only complaint I have is the frosty white shadow. It's very frosty I rarely use it. It's very soft. Is it buttery? Kinda. Comparing it to some Korean brands, this wins hands down. It has enough pigment for its price. Plus it's small and compact.

Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner (Love)

Liplining? Not really. I use it as a matte lip shade :) and it works so well and it's so pretty with my skintone. It's very neon-like when you first use it but then once you blend it out, so beautiful. I sometimes use a clear gloss over it and it works so beautifully. Plus you can barely feel anything on your lips since it's not lipstick. I'd definitely try out the other shades!

next Paradise Perfume (Love)

I'm running out of this and I love it. I dunno where I can get this since it used to belong to my older sister. I love it. I just love it. It smells nice, not so offensive (since I'm very sensitive to scents) and it works. Best of all, I'm not allergic to it. I'm still on the hunt for a perfect perfume for me but this passes for now. Plus, it's running out ): I take this everywhere with me, since the size it so compact.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry (Love)

I'm running out of this balm, but I have a backup in the form of another Cherry flavour. I love anything cherry flavoured and this is wonderful. Granted, it all started because on my first date with my ex, we were eating ice cream and he gave me his cherry. LOLFRUITMINDYOU. It was a nice experience and it's funny too. Anyway, this works so well, I use it at night, everywhere I go I bring this, and it's less oily than my Vaseline Lip Therapy in Cherry. Lovely balm. Will definitely repurchase.

SilkyGirl Pure Fresh Oil-Control Pressed Powder SPF 20 (Hate)

This thing, I really regret getting. I thought I'd get a new pressed powder that actually helps control oil. This, does not. It does not. I get oily in just less than an hour. What is up with that. I still prefer the other SilkyGirl powder. But I'd still use this and see if I can make it work like what I did with the face primer.

---

Okay, so that's it for now. It's already so late and I don't know why I decided to write this late.
I just felt like it.

I got a new laptop now :)

A Macbook Pro. Do I like it? So far, it's okay.

I really like the trackpad.

So far.

LOL.

Okay then.

Goodnight, sweet people.

Take care.

Short Miri Trip~ New Glasses Galore!

I nearly didn't go to Miri today because I was so tired. I sleep at around 3AM every day, and no, not for sahur, I don't even eat sahur, I just sleep late. So like, today I slept like around 3 hours.

I decided to push myself to go because I needed new shoes and new clothes for university and then also new glasses. I didn't get a lot of things because the things I got were kinda expensive as it was :/ especially the glasses.

The first thing the sales assistant recommended :O Overall with the lenses, cost RM470 after discount I think.
Thick framed glasses? Who'd have thought. I've always wanted to try the thick rimmed ones but never had the guts to. Well, maybe I should have chosen this kind last year. It makes me extra sexy and geeky wtf. Well, the pic I took of me with it is kinda derpy because I was so dizzy. Going around the mall with it was like hellish. Because it made me feel short. You know that feeling right?

Well, that's mainly because my degree went down.

DOWN.

I expected it to go up. UP I tell ya.

When I heard the dude say it went down I was seriously disbelieved. God knows I've been lacking in sleep and shit.

I've been facing the computer 24/7 a few times. The dude even chuckled when I told him that.

Like HOW. HOW did that happen?
I have two possible reasons:

1) I've been exercising every night and that kinda helped release stress.
2) I've been taking this syrupy thingy with lots of goodness (will feature this in my favourites post)

The syrupy thingy has like spinach and stuff so that's probably why.

I've been diligently exercising too. Ever since the start of Ramadhan :) every nightttt. I've lost nearly 5kg :D in such a short period of time.

So happy :) will work harder because it's helping with acne, mood and well, self-image.

Well, once I'm thinner, I can do photoshoots more comfortably :D
Especially since I'm working more on my music now.

Well anyway, the pic can be seen on the Instagram to your left~

Other things I got are:

Cute shoes that are just a size too small. I'm working hard on stretching it.
A vibrant colored shirt that cost RM25. It's a bit fit around the arm area so I really need to lose more weight to feel good wearing this!
Love at first sight. It was bat-winged style. My heart fell when I saw the price, RM90.90. But it had 20%? So yeah, I got it for RM72.72. It's comfy :D me likey.

Couldn't find SCawaii anymore so I got this magazine instead
Ray is an interesting magazine. I might even like it better than ViVi and SCawaii :O

I also got a new pressed powder that's supposedly mattify-ing and a hair serum.
I wanna use the serum but I'm too sleepy right now. lol.

Oh yeah, my sis got me this too:

Name stickers thingy? lol She knows me so well.
I also finally got a pic I took myself of Baby Syarq :D
He was awake when we came back from Miri.

His eyes were focusing on something on the wall, looking past me lol.
I wonder what he was looking at.

And here is a pic of the big bro being all excited for the little bro.

Though the little one looks more annoyed than ever.

Today, I'm at my happiest I've ever been.

I guess it's all the exercise and stuff.
I just don't want to dwell on sadness anymore.

Well I do feel sad a lot of times, but things can't change, can they?

You can't force things to go your way.

But these lyrics really reflect what I feel right now:

‎"Please change the past, save us doctor
Please tell her It's important doctor
Please change the past, save us doctor
Please doctor please save us doctor

There’s no way to change or erase the past
But I want to see him
There’s nothing I can do
I want to see him, but it’s no use
I miss him... doctor

Well doctor,
What should I do?
Eliminating everything except for him
Seems impossible
Help me, doctor!" -Dr. by Amuro Namie

So yeah, that's how I really feel now.
LOL.

But honestly, I'm a lot happier nowadays.

If you're reading this, A, I hope you'll listen to my music one day :)

Gonna clean most of my room up tomorrow!!!

And I need to get moving with my Shakespeare outline.

>_>;

G'night and take care!

Of Lost Internet Woes + Other Things...

Hey.

I've been procrastinating on updating for a while now. Well, not really, since I just recently got my internet back. It's been gone for a month because stupid Telbru didn't want to fix it. Damn. Anyway, my dad got so angry he complained directly to the technical team. They deserved that shit because we've been calling every single day since the 7th. I got back my net on the 26th.

You know how much credit I had to buy during this period? A LOT.

Since then I've been procrastinating if I should update or not.

You see, a lot has happened between then and now. I just don't know what exactly to blog about. A lot has happened.

Last week there was the sudden UBD intake Fresher's Week thing. It's also Ramadhan, and then my family has a new addition.

My baby nephew, Syarq :)

His birth was a bit unexpected because everyone thought he'd be born next month. It was so last minute and sudden, my bro didn't even have all the things for him yet!! Well, during the birth anyway. Since they wanted to stay with the family during the "pantang", my bro had to rush and buy a new airconditioner, a new fan....for his room.

Lol, everything had to be rushed because of this cute boy.

He looks a lot like my other nephew, his big brother from another mother (literally).
At first I thought he looked like a girl.

But I didn't wanna say.

Now, he looks more and more like a boy.

I don't have the guts to hold him yet, as he is still very tiny. Like a Sim baby :)

I'm really not in the mood right now and I'd rather be sleeping to be quite honest.

I have been through hell and back.
Hell and back.

Hell. And back.

Just in the same week, I also found out that Ming Ming, the only pet I have left and loved very much, died. A week before that.

Everyone hid the death from me.
Afraid I would go hysterical.

Either way, I did.

I took care of Ming Ming since she was smaller, when her sister Mong Mong disappeared/passed away and their mom mysteriously disappeared.

I made sure she was well fed, cared for, everyone loved her.
Making sure she stayed clear from cars was my job. I did that diligently, whenever we go out because she liked to go inside the car and hitch a ride. On the passenger's seat, most of the time.

For months I took care of her. Even 'he' managed to see her when she was still a kitten. I asked him if he liked her, because I thought of giving her to him.

That was down the drain so I just took care of Ming Ming to take my mind off of things.

When Dali died, I refused to care for another pet.
But I did in the end.

I didn't get to see Ming Ming when she died.
Maybe it's good I didn't.

I was so stricken with agony and sorrow, I thought of suicide.

This was for more than one reason.
For an animal, I'd die?
Silly.

I'd die for ALL the animals I cared about. Or was properly, MINE.

You see, in FOUR months, FOUR of my pets died.

All under weird circumstances.
I don't think it's a coincidence.

This is making me depressed.

I should update more tomorrow. I'm still compiling a few more things for the giveaway.

Hopefully it'd get done in time.

G'night peeps.
Take care.
