Doctor, Help Me

So yeah, finally, after telling my mom how much it hurts, finally she had time to take me to the clinic to get my allergy rash checked. It was already drying I believe, but I still wanted it checked.

Fobancort and ....allergy tablets?
This picture is AFTER a night of applying the ointment I was provided (only a thin layer):

Disgusting yes, I know. But this looked better than it did yesterday!
What I think the ointment did was "dissolve" the dead skin layer? I dunno. I think it did that.

It didn't itch which is good.
But yeah, I haven't tried the tablet. I should only take it if the bumps on the back of my hand appears again.

These bumps that itch like a mother----er.
I noticed that the deadly body mist from The Body Shop only affects my neck and my hand, but that doesn't mean I can't accidentally affect other areas!

I don't want to give it away to someone either! I don't want them to suffer like what I did!

So, I'm still waiting for a call from The Body Shop.

They said they will, let's see.

If they don't, yeah, maybe I'll file a complaint properly, as a customer.

I mean, I LOVE The Body Shop, sure, they are expensive but I grew up with them.

Heck, that's why I'd apply for work there too.

I didn't even care much that they didn't accept me, God knows I can't sell a product.

I'm much too nice, to promote something that can affect me like the picture above.

But well, the body butter works. The one mentioned in this post, so well, I can't say they're all bad.

However, I WILL think twice about buying from them if they don't do anything about this.
I have never had an allergic reaction this bad.

NEVER.

Until I thought I was one of the lucky people who will never have an allergic reaction ever.

So yes, Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mist, you're deadly to me.

'til then.

Another Wrong Product. I am soooooo careless.

I researched. I researched.

But I forgot the name.

What I wanted was: St. Ives Green Tea Scrub
Second choice would have been: St. Ives Blemish & Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub

What I got in the end: St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub

I really am careless.

I forgot which apricot scrub it was, and ended up getting the abrasive one LOL.

Ah well, I just need a good face scrub, or a body scrub.

I'll just use this.
If it's too abrasive for my face, at least I can use for my body.

Wrong Product yet again. This must be some kind of curse.
My mom told me to use the Kanebo Blanchir though. Yes, yes, mom but I still need a scrub.

'til then!

Makeup Ban + Allergy Rash

Sigh.

The worst thing you can hear from your own father is:

"I'm banning your from makeup."

Well, not technically the worst one, but for now, it is.
So far.

Yes, I know, covering it with makeup when it's still healing is not a good idea. A bad one, yes.
I went makeup free today, and there was a gathering.

I summoned all my courage and just went there without.

I felt quite insecure, especially since my ex pointed out how bad it got.

And then I told him, "When we go out, I always conceal."

So yeah, it's THAT different.

My problem is the scarring.
Now I believe it's somewhat congested.

I dunno if what I'm doing is right, but I'm going to put the Peppermint Mask every night on the patches, and see if it improves. I know it's not the right way of doing it, but at least, it doesn't flake while I sleep.

it'll keep me from bothering it at night too.

Hopefully I'll see some changes and NOT clog up my pores.

I'd post some pics, but I'm quite sad right now.

Especially with the amount of makeup I have lol.

I'm more worried about the eyeliners.

( '_' ) I guess maybe I'll at least use my mascara from time to time, until I finish it.

The least I can do.

Oh and the rash, the rash on my neck from The Body Shop's body mist, it got worse.
I made a complaint (somewhat of) to the manager yesterday.

They said they'll contact me, but who knows.

It's getting worse and my parents are still too busy to take me to see a doctor.

Well, we'll see how my skin will fare without makeup.

'til then.

SkinFood: Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

This will be just an overview for now. Not so much an in-depth one since I've only tried it once, for now.

Image from eng.theskinfood.com
What is this?
"Enriched with minerals and vitamins, this face scrub effectively exfoliates dead skin that prevents makeup application, while revitalizing skin." - eng.theskinfood.com

"Moisturizing and exfoliating wash off scrub mask with minerals, vitamins and glycolic acid. Cleanses and revitalizes the skin." - www.skinfood.sg

I received a sample when I bought my Peppermint Pore Diet Mask Peel-Off (gosh, that is a type-full) and decided to use this one first before using my Rice Mask sample because of a small tear. To make sure I have enough use out of this (around 2-3 times as opposed to 1 time use) I took out the sample and transferred it to a container.

Already violated version LOL.

The instructions and description of products. Where are the ingredients?

If you can see, it's almost wiped clean lol. I don't like wasting products.

I used the remaining sample from the sachet on my face today :)

First impressions would be the scent. THE SCENT.
I was somewhat appalled by it. I expected a sweet, sweet scent but I didn't get that.
It smelled like soap, it smelled familiar but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was.

Detergent perhaps?
Or maybe lime. It smelled like the soap used to clean dishes.
Yeah, that's probably it.

The granules are a lot finer than my DIY Sugar Scrub from this post.
I couldn't read the information on the back of the sachet that is in Korean, but I'm guessing it's the same as the English instruction, but here are some extra instructions from the website:

"* Use:
After washing, apply desired amount onto face, avoiding eye and mouth areas.
Mix with water or toner to reduce skin irritation, and massage.
Wait 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash off with warm water. - eng.theskinfood.com"

Honestly, I only read the instructions online AFTER using it, so I didn't mix it with water or toner. It seemed fine enough, just by wetting your face prior to use.

It reminds me of my DIY scrub, minus the harsher granules and a less sweet smell. For now, I guess I'd have to say that I prefer my scrub over this because of the smell.

It kinda lingers too, even after you apply toner and moisturizer, but probably it's the Witch Hazel toner I'm using.

On the face itself, it wasn't so harsh, and you can scrub gently. I left it for a couple of minutes while washing my body and stuff, before washing it off. I'm guessing the glycolic acid in it sloughed off some of the dead skin. It did feel slightly softer. It didn't irritate immediately, but it may have inflamed some acne I have.

But I think, overall, it's an okay product. If I were to compare, probably it might be with TheFaceShop's? Although when I tested it out, it's more harsh, kinda like the one I made.

This is definitely a lot gentler.

I think the full size product is sold around BND$20-25? I'm not sure, I'll check again next time.

Would I purchase it?
Probably somewhere in Malaysia. lol.

The price is Brunei is reasonable I guess, but yeah, need to see other options first :)

I will update once I had more use of it!

'til then.

OH MY. Wrong product.

So like, I was very excited to use the Tony Moly "Berry Berry Body Scrub Wash", thinking it was the same like the "Herb Flavor Body Scrub Wash". I only tried the tester to the Herb one, liking it, thinking to myself that I should get the Berry one since it's smaller and well, cheaper.

This is what I wanted, or rather, something similar:
http://www.tonymoly.com.sg/joomla/our-products/body-hair/herb-flavor-body-scrub-wash?vmcchk=1

Oh boy, I was wrong not to test it out.

Turns out that it was the scrub type of things I have abundance of.
Damn.

And the worst thing is, I doubt it works even better than them. I tried a bit of it, quite disappointed and well, I got disappointed again that it's just the same like any other scrub. Albeit, expensive like shit.

I'm not saying it's a bad product, it's just that, if I were to buy a body scrub, I already know what brand I'd buy. It's either St Ives or Cyclax. And to top it off, it offers more product that the Tony Moly one.

I'm debating whether to keep it or sell it off, since I only tried a bit of it.
I'll even pitch in the sample given since I won't use it either way.

Sigh.

So disappointed ):

If only it offered more than what my other scrubs do, I'd be happy.

I'm quite upset that I got the wrong product.

NOTE TO SELF:

Even if it looks the same on the outside, same packaging, offering different variety, ALWAYS ALWAYS, test it out.

So disappointed.

On another note, I'm using the SkinFood's "Peppermint Pore Diet Peel-Off Mask" now. lol.

It's tingly right now, and tight.
I'd take a picture but I unevenly distributed it so lol no.

But if I were to just give an overview, it's like the Daiso's nose pack, although it's not unbearably smelly. It has the same texture on the face but smoother in consistency. But it dries fast too.

Sigh.

I'll just cry to myself.

First Time Working + Tiny Haul

Yes! Today marks the first time I have ever worked for money ever!
(and no, doing chores for parents does not count)

I had a tiring day, it was from 7 AM until 5 PM. Hectic day, but I met a lot of people. Mostly Japanese lol. The elderly. I was luckily assigned an okay task, making sure people got on the right bus on the right time and stuff, escorting them, assisting them, etc. It was also the first time I've ever been to Muara Port :DD

I will post more "in-depth" thoughts on the whole experience sometime soon but lookie what I bought!!!

Oooh, what's inside~~?
I know the plastic bag might be deceiving, but I actually bought something from both Tony Moly and SkinFood!

I believe the Herb kind is 250ml, this is 150ml.
I eyed this scrub since last week, but only decided to get it tonight, the last day of the promotion at Tony Moly. I wanted to buy this to celebrate my first time working lol. Last time I tried the herb one, but I guess that it should be similar, no? I'll try it tomorrow :) This is sold for BND$19.90, normally but I got it 10% off ( which is BND$17.90.

But my first impression is: Is it really 150ml worth of product inside? Because I have TheFaceShop's cleanser in 150ml and it is waaaaay huge and heavier lol.

Peel off mask, FINALLY!
I randomly Googled peel-off masks from SkinFood and well, I found one! Haven't tried but I have high hopes for it. It's not as expensive as I thought it'd be. It's sold for BND$13.40, I expected a higher mark up price LOL. I looked at the receipt and it says 150ml of product and I'm like "What??? Impossible!"

It's actually 120ml lol.

Ah well, I'll try it out tomorrow. I wanted to try it out tonight but I'm too tired, although I know my face needs deep cleansing due to all the dirt that landed on my face from the strong wind this morning.

Lastly, samples from both the shops. Look how tiny the Tony Moly one is LOL
I'm assuming that you get samples from every 10 bucks you spend? For SkinFood anyway. Last time I got two, and it was around 20 bucks, and this one is just over 10 bucks, so yeah. Assumptions though.

Hopefully I won't wake up with new zits but yeah lol.

I had a fun date with the ex, laughed a lot.

Now, I am very dizzy. I think I caught a cold from being in the rain, I hope I'll get better.

'til then!

-Nisah-

P.S: Dunno if you'll find this useful but I asked how to get membership from both shops:

Tony Moly: Spend either BND$80 on one receipt or BND$200 on receipts in two months (I think it's two months)

SkinFood: Spend either BND$40 or pay BND$10 for membership card.

Pick your poison ;3

He did remember.

I was sad a few days ago about V-Day right?
The fact that I didn't receive any chocolates right?

Well, actually I did.

Two days after that.

Well, the ex-boyfie would have taken me out on the day itself but my dad forbid me going out so yeah.

He got me the same chocs he did when we first started dating. Well, one type of them.

Patchi chocolates :)

8 pieces I think.

Lost 2 already.
Flavours: Emotion and Casablanca.

He gave me 9 pieces of Emotion last year.
It's kinda ironic.

That we broke up after 9 months. lol.
Coincidence?

Anyway.

The chocolates are nice.

Love him for this :)

I cherish them, so I eat them slowly.

Thank you, boo.

( OwO ) Busy Day Ahead

Hey!

It's the 15th, so it's not longer Single Awareness Day, yay~

I had a crappy day yesterday, today, well, I woke up to good news.
I dunno if working my ass off is good news, but any work is good right now.

I've never had experience before so I'm a bit psyched up.

Tomorrow is actually probably just volunteering, rather than work, but a girl can dream, right?

Thing is, I accepted blindly, forgetting about the dinner I have with my friends at night ):

I'm not even sure what time this would end tomorrow.

I hope that it won't be that late ):

Since I'm going to have my ex pick me up, it's kinda stressing me up at the thought of being late. I despise being late. I really do.

But just wish me luck that all will go as planned :D

I'll just be wearing my usual makeup routine so there's no fuss.
Hopefully.

Maybe I'll decide not to go to school in the morning and just well, go to work. Less stress that way.

I'll be alone at school anyway. Sad.

So maybe I'll just do so on Saturday.

Yep, yep.

Hm, I wish they'd be more informative with things.

'til then.

Oh Eff This

Yes, yes, I know.

It's V-Day.

I don't celebrate it but it sure is nice to receive chocolates!!!

I've been in a bad mood the whole day.

So, I asked my dad if I can order pizza and ice-cream.
I got both.

Yet, I'm still unhappy.

I shouldn't have wished him that.
It's not like he still has feelings for me.

Oh eff this.

I'm just in a bad mood because of darned periods.

I call this Choco Day but there's no chocolate for me ):

Not even a red velvet cupcake.

ARGH.

UNHAPPY D:<

Whatever.

Oh, SaSa Haul + Revlon Lip Butters!

Speak of the devil!

Another SaSa haul under such short notice!
I thank my mom for this :) she can be so strict and nice with me! Of course, I'd want to repay her soon .

This is what I got :D Or rather, what she got for me:

sasatinnie Sakura BB Cream, theBalm's Face Primer, sasatinnie  Creamy Satin Blusher (freebie)
I've always wanted to try cream blushers!
It's in 03, Sugar Rose (not sure if we get to choose what colour)
It's such a pretty colour :) I love it.
Today was the last day of the CNY Celebration Sale, and I decided to get the primer and the BB cream under such short notice. My mom told me that the sales assistant (Miri Branch) said that the offer is finished, with the free blusher thing, but she brought the flyer with her (courtesy of moi) and showed her the free gift thing that came with the BB cream. Hah, if it was me, I'd just cower and not fight for my rights. Thank goodness for mommy power.

I decided to get the primer because goodness, I have oily skin ): so yeah, hopefully it won't break me out and actually help keep my oily under control. I tried the Daiso silicone primer and well...I dunno if it works or not LOL.

But I'm not gonna use these yet until my skin gets better.

Btw, the primer says that it only lasts 6 months. How...valid is that? And does it start counting to its death from the time I try it out? LOL. So yeah.

That's all from SaSa today :D

----

On another note :)
I got me another Revlon Lip Butter, this time, in Macaroon!!!

I have it on right now, and to quote my sis "How come your lips look so perfect??"
I have to say, I'm taking care of my lips nowadays, but sadly, pretty lips won't look pretty with a flawed face.

I got Cherry Tart last week and have been in love with it since!
I decided to get Macaroon in hopes of a toned down red.

Left: Macaroon Right: Cherry Tart
 It's so cute :D
See? LOL
Weirdly though, Macaroon makes my teeth look more yellow than Cherry Tart does XD;
I guess it's because I've been drinking tea all day, stained it.

We have four out of the eight shades available to us in SEA, my sister has Peach Parfait and my mom has Lollipop.

I guess I'll use these often :)

Hehe.

'til then!

-Nisah-

Love SaSa so much, I wish it was next door.

SaSa.

Had I known you were just across the street to my usual hotel in KK, I would have raided you day until night.
I would give you all my loving, all my money.

I wish I had known sooner.

But yeah, I only knew about its existence sometime last year, through online means.
And it made me decide: Next time, on holiday, I will give my money here.

If I were to make a collective list of what I've bought there, it's not much.

I'm thankful they opened in Miri now.

But yeah, I've bought things there, yes.

I hope today, my mom would buy me something from there again lol. Oh, me.

If SaSa was indeed next door, I would be broke like hell.

Dangerously broke.

But yeah, one of these days I'll blog about the things I've bought there. I haven't tried some stuff so yeah.

Other than me, my sis, mom and my cousin shops there :)

So yeah, I love SaSa.
I love you, SaSa lol.

So much.

Here's the website: (it was unavailable when I looked it up)

http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/sasa/home.jsp

Maybe one day, I'll just decide to order from them if I can't find the thing on land.

'til then :D

Things I need to use up!

You know how I always have this impulse buys when I go to a certain shop that sells skincare and cosmetics? Yeah, it's accumulating like hell.

I have a lot to use up.
And some probably give away or sell.
Because it doesn't suit me.

Cassis Rose Body Mist, Sea White Exfoliant Gel, Bio-Essence Deep Exfoliating Gel and
Etude House Aloe Vera Cleansing Cream
Yes yes, the Body Mist is oldddd but at least it doesn't make me have allergic reaction like that Cherry Blossom one!! Which is unfortunate. I'm nearly done with this so I'm fine.

The Sea White is kinda old, so I don't use it on my face. I use it like somewhere random, my leg or something. The Bio-Essence one, I still use on the face but it does't make much of a difference nowadays. I doubt it removes dead skin cells like it says...

As for the Etude House Cleansing Cream....I just stopped using it because it contains Mineral Oil. I used it again tonight, to see if I have a bad reaction to it. I have a lot of cleansing creams, one from Daiso, one from the Hada Labo (not a cream though lol), the Kanebo sample...haish.

I'll work on using it. I have other cleansing creams too so yeah, I should focus on using one at a time to finish up.

I need to work on using up the first three things before I decide to buy that scrub from Tonymoly.

I shall call this project, 'Project FINISH IT'.

Yeah, finish it, Nisah, FINISH IT.

- Nisah-

Yesterday's Food

For two days straight I didn't exercise and just eat and eat like hell.

LOL.

Had a heavy lunch with friends and a sushi date with the ex on Thursday. and then just eat and eat and eat after my facial appointment LOL. Swensens and then The Mall Foodcourt.

Today, I just went Mochi-ing with him and went to this Malaysian University Exhibition at the Orchid Garden Hotel. Due to the overwhelming use of the elevators, we had to climb EIGHT levels of stairs. When we reached there, it was really useless for both of us.

We had weird conversations here and there and I actually went to Tonymoly for the first time ever! They're having a sale right now so....I might just get one or two things next week before it ends LOL. I had my eyes on the body scrub and probably a matte blush.

Okay, food pic dump!!

Swensen's Mushroom Soup. A family favourite.

Coney Dog. It was awesome. Finished everything!

Chicken Hummus....it was blander than usual, forgot seasoning I guess.

My first taste of duck! I didn't really like it LOL

Thin Mint Milkshake :DD
Eat, eat, eat like hell :DDD

Snails? ...and allergies.

I went through my third treatment at SkinTologist today, so far, my blackheads are still active. Pimples too I guess. Blargh.

I was sleepy XD (It's friggin huge btw. lol.)

I guess it can't be helped since I'm not using the intended skincare for the treatment :(

Right now I'm using a mix of Suiskin and Kanebo when I cleanse. Sometimes I incorporate HadaLabo.

I have this one nasty and painful pimple on my forehead, my chin and my chest and well, I am not going to take a pic of that LOL.

But yeah, in desperation, I decided to beg my parents to get me The Skin Shop's ''Recovery Solution Cream' A.K.A Snail Cream.

It's so pretty. Gosh.
So yeah, snails. Yum.

It retails here for BND$39.90 at Paloma. The price at the site is SKW35000 (won?) so, I don't think it's that far off expensive!! D: Quite a surprise really.

Site:  http://the-skinshop.com/  (if you look closely, the last shop in the distributor pic is Paloma :DDD)

I'm gonna pay my dad back once I get a job.

Haha.

Well, I'm going to try it out tonight, replacing my Blanchir Superior Milky Conditioner.

I tried it out at Paloma, putting it on the back of my hand.
First thing that I noticed was how cooling it was!

It also sinks into the skin fairly quickly and leaves a cooling effect, rather than a sticky one.

Well, I'm gonna try it out on the face and the pimply areas and see if it helps. I hope it does, I have high hopes for it.

I'll do an "in-depth" review about it once I've settled into it for about 2 weeks or a month :)

As for allergies....

The Body Shop's Body Mist I bought....when sprayed to my neck, it makes it so itchy and red.
Dammit. It's still so itchy, I'm very disturbed.

Are we not supposed to spray it there? ):

Urgh. It's not like I can return it, can I?

( TT^TT ) ah well.

I'm loving my new BB Cream from SkinFood btw :)
I can't make a proper review of it yet due to my skin problems, so I can't really say if it breaks me out or not.

But it glides on so easily and blends so easily I love it :D

Oh and, here are the things my sis got me from her trip :D

A huge bar of 'Sexy Peel Soap' from LUSH. It is so huge. I think it costs like BND$27 (once converted)!! She cut it into 5 pieces and took a piece :)
I tried it out, it left my bathroom smelling citrus-y but it doesn't stick onto the skin as much like my Porridge soap. But I still like it for its exfoliation :D

LASplash SplashProof Sealer :)
I found out today that Paloma sells LASplash (didn't check the price range though), so if this is good, at least I know I can buy it locally :D this was around USD7 I think.

That's all for now :)

De-Stressifying Haul

Although it failed to do so.

So, I got my A Level results today.

And it was bad.

So, after an hour of tears, I decided to drag my parents to shop.

I went to The Body Shop, hoping that they have the Chocomania range, but to my utter disappointment, they don't.

So, I ended up buying a Duo Body Butter in Macadamia (the other normal ones smelled horrendous) and this one is quite expensive. It was around BND30. I had a 20% discount coupon though.

I also bought a new Body Mist in Japanese Cherry Blossom, this had a 30% discount.

And then, from The SkinFood, I got a Peach Sake BB Cream in shade 1. They only had Shade 1 :( but I'm pretty sure I'm a Shade 2 lol. I'll make it work.

I just hope it doesn't break me out.

Anti-Depression Haul

Freebies from The SkinFood

Inside of the body butter.
I tried out the body butter, I quite like it. So far :) smells nice.

I'm so dizzy right now :(

Good Night :3

Miri Haul~

I guess lol.

I didn't buy much but they cost a lot lol;

Random Haul
I got blue contact lenses...and I don't know how to use them yet.
I used to try, but I failed.

This time, I'll try harder!!!!

Two of these things are freebies, it's the pouch and the Kanebo sample.

Mom is a loyal Kanebo user and well, I got this for free because she bought a LOT of stuff.
I won't say how much the price is but it was a lot.

For skincare.

I got a Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart. I know red isn't my colour exactly but I don't have any red lipstick/balm/stain so yeah, might as well. It's okay, but it does emphasize more on my blemishes ):

That's why I need to fix it!

Next time, I'll buy Peach Parfait or Macaroon.

From SaSa, I got a Kate Loose Foundation. I asked for loose powder...is that the same? ):< I'll be mad if it isn't!!

I got a Canmake Eyeshadow Base too :) It's so tiny, but expensive.
LOL I was the first one to use the tester.

I was tempted to take the tester.

But no, I didn't D:

I got my St Ives lotion and two magazines too. And a soft toothbrush, for the benefit of my gums.

That's it for now :DDD

I'm so tired ( ;_; )
