Giving Oreo Away...

...was the worst feeling/decision ever.

I can't lie.
Couldn't sleep the whole night and I kept crying every time I tried to sleep.

I guess it was the stress of it all.
Giving two kittens away, then one of them coming back accidentally caused one of the worst things ever: Shyla being shunned by her four remaining kittens.

They hissed, they jumped everywhere, I screamed. It was painful to watch.
Seeing Socks, the small kitten actually JUMP OFF the roof out of fear and shock was just too much for me.

What turned out to be a day where Oreo was supposed to be given away turned into one of the worst days ever.

I had to keep Shyla in the house somehow, it was hard. She didn't want to sleep in my room, she didn't want to sleep outside at the hall.

I was awake all night, trying not to let her cry too much.

The person who was supposed to pick up Oreo on that dreadful night couldn't make it.
I actually forgot that I asked if she could pick him up the next day.

Difficult, it was, because I already took Oreo away from the cage he shared with Fini and Megan, to bathe him.
Trying to reintroduce him was hard.

But thankfully it was fine.

I was busy the next day. Family function and trying to reunite Shyla and the kittens.

When she suddenly texted that she was gonna come by that night, I felt surprised and quite sad.

Originally, after playing with Oreo and letting him roam around, I was going to text her to cancel the whole adoption (if you're reading this somehow, I really was) because I thought she was going to pick him up next Saturday.

When she said that she was gonna pick him up, I was a bit devastated.
It was hard to say no when she's already on the way to pick him up from a far place.

I was tired, Oreo was everywhere, on me, on my dad, my mom...it seemed like he knew.
Already so emotionally stressed, I just played with him, humoured him as much as possible.

But toward the end, when Shyla's already reunited with the kittens, Oreo started being evasive, hiding under the couch. My dad said that he probably have sensed that he was gonna be given away.

He was really struggling when we finally managed to catch him. He was really running away.

When I gave him away, I was really reluctant.

Deep down, I knew, if I said, "No, you can't have him."
Then I'll be breaking my promise.

But it was heartbreaking seeing him ram the carrier they brought to place him in.
He was really, really trying to get away, with his sad 'meows' I've heard other cats cry out when they're adopted.

I really wanted to cry but I didn't let myself.

My dad was all like, "Why did you give him away? He was perfectly fine with the rest of the cats."
Mom was acting like that too.

It was just too much for me.
I started crying when I was praying that night.

I wanted him to have a better place to stay, where he can play around better.
My family is not keen on having the cats roam around despite being housecats, which I think was unfair.

It was giving me too much stress.
I get easily depressed but this, this burden they let me carry on my own.

I've put Oreo up for adoption for a long time and no one wanted him.
When I felt that it was maybe a sign for him to be adopted, I quickly offered him, without even thinking.

I'm an emotional wreck, mentally and physically exhausted too.
Wtf did I do?

I'm just crying right now.

Not being able to sleep, every time I tried to sleep, I see Oreo and Fini in the hammock, snuggled together and I fucking broke them apart.

Fini might be pregnant and I took away the father of the kittens.

WTF DID I DO.

I couldn't sleep a wink, I know I should but I can't.

I started getting early signs of depression again.
Like, one of the worst kinds, like the one I had dealing with my ex.

I am just very, very sad.

I asked my dad as I fed the cats, "Can I ask for Oreo back?"

He said no, as it's very rude to do so after they came for him from a far place.

I wasn't emotionally ready when I received the text.
I was ready to say goodbye to him the other day, not yesterday.

I could have said "No." but the me who tries to honour my promises can't do that.

But I really want to ask for Oreo back.

But is that a wise decision when I'm in this emotional wreck state?

I guess everything is meant to happen for some other reason.

Having one of our 'babies' taken away, God has (hopefully) given us another.
This time, a baby that we have all been waiting for.

When I was writing this, my sister knocked on my door and told me to check my phone.
"Our sister's pregnant."

She has been waiting for this baby for a long time.
She was against me giving away Oreo but I told her, "Maybe it's for the best."

I don't know what to think.

I'm a mix of emotions.
I'm sad, happy...bittersweet.

Giving away a cat and God gives us a baby? (Actually, three cats if you count the two kittens)
Please, please, I pray for a safe pregnancy.

She has been waiting for this baby for a long time.

It's still early but please, let this be realised.

Amin.
Alhamdulillah.

I just don't wanna be depressed anymore.

It's a vicious cycle.

And I'm tired of it.

Really tired of it.

Giving them away ):

Yesterday, I had to give away 2 of Shyla's kittens for adoption.
Felt really sad really. It was with a heavy heart when I actually had to do it. Even the thought of it was weird, yes, but when you actually have to...it felt sad.

I've been taking care of them since they were born, I was practically the second mommy since Shyla needed some help. It's kinda like giving away your baby and then maybe you won't be able to see them again.

Unless the person shares a lot of photos of them.

I gave Socks and Artemis away to my bro's gf. They're not gonna be housecats though.
Semi-outdoor I guess?

Both are girls ):

It was good that I gave them away in pairs, so they can play with each other.
But I think if homesickness is too much for them,  she can always bring them back and have Shyla take care of them a while longer.

They've been weaned, but still, they were drinking mommy's milk still.

I swear, I saw some tears in Shyla's eyes.

Now there's four left.
I originally planned on having Honeydew up for adoption too but seeing how empty the cage looked, my mom said "It's enough. We'll keep the rest."

I mean, as kittens, sure, 4-6 is okay but as they grow...
We won't have space for them.

Artemis (and my large hand lol)
Socks :3
Oh man, I'm trying so hard not to cry and regret my decision.

Later, Oreo will be given away too ):
My sis is against it because he's kinda like, Fini's boyfriend.

But honestly, he needs a good home where he can be as affectionate as he can be.
If any cat is a housecat, it's him.

( ;A; ) I don't---

I KNOW I can't afford to take care of all of them.

MAN.

Just...

I hope they're well taken care of. I'm not the most perfect cat owner ever but I really do love them ):

Aish.
Man.

Please take care of them.

I just hope they'll behave well.

I need to have my sahur later.
Quite hungry today.

The other day, I had food poisoning and had to skip one day of fasting.
I'm like MAN.

I was throwing up and diarrhoea-ing. It was too hard to KEEP fasting.

Losing a lot of hydration already from both.

My stomach's been quite sensitive too.

It hurts most of the time.
I wonder if I need to see a doctor.

Sigh.

( u_u ) I feel sad.

'til then, take care.

My New Hair + Mini Haul + Giveaway Winner

I procrastinated so much with writing this LOL.
I actually forgot when I cut my hair.

Well, I hated how it looked (when my sister just butchered it) so I decided that I wanted to have it evened out and stuff.

Before the haircut.
I mean, just look at that mess :/
I went to the hair salon I always go to when I'm on a budget LOL.
I've only ever done any expensive haircut and something else twice ever. I always go for the cheaper option XD I mean, hair is hair.

And I have bad hair LOL.

Anyway, I went for the wash+cut+treatment.
It all cost BND25 :D

I look bloated ): Been bloated for a while yaw.
This was during the steam treatment.
It took maybe an hour plus for everything to be done.
At first she cut it with a symmetrical bob in mind.
Layered back, with the hair longer in the front.

Both were meant to be long, even mom liked it BUT I decided to make it an asymmetrical bob because I've always wanted one!

Ohai.
It looks fine lol. But dad was like "Did they accidentally do that??"
I know that I have to style my hair more lol but eh.

This was after a shower.
Looks tolerable lol.
You know how you expect your hair to be that exact same style when you're out of the shower?
Not always the case.

Looked fine. I used some anti-frizz serum.
Then, half an hour later~

Hair's like "NO WAY AM I GONNA LOSE TO THAT SERUM!"
But eh, I don't care.
I should have blow dried it LOL.

At the end of the day...
I didn't bother re-applying my lip gloss and stuff.
Makeup held on pretty well actually.
The face makeup at least.

Story of my hair :x

Anyway, gonna insert a mini haul from Guardian and something I got from The Philippines~

I decided to try out these masks when Nio mentioned them on FB.
They were on sale (for a bit) so I thought it was the perfect time to try them out.

I'm told that they sell these at Paloma.
I've seen them but never bought them. Didn't know they were the same LOL.

Assorted Masks from Montagne Jeunesse.
I used the chocolate one tonight.
If I like them, I might stock up on them.
Unfortunately this is a bit hard to squeeze out of the pack.
Is it just me?

From The Philippines, my maid bought me these :D
I asked for them though LOL.

She's such a sweetheart, getting me the bigger sized bottle when I just asked for the small one.

Body Recipe and Hortaleza, MD products.
I wanna use them to fade discolouration and scars.
Let's see if the Perfecting Cream will help with acne scars :D

Okay then, I need to wash off the chocolate mask off of my face!
'til then, take care!!

P.S: I already chose a winner for my Asteria Bracelet giveaway~ You have to wait for AmisQue to announce it on her Instagram to know if you won or not :D It was randomized btw :)

Makeup = Pokemon?

I was just randomly browsing stuff on my FB. I have many friends that love Pokemon. I do too.
Until today...I never realised how my need to collect a certain line of makeup, or brand...is similar to catching ALL the Pokemon available.

Is it just me, or do you do that too?

You buy a certain palette, lipstick and whatnot, but you ended up using them quite rarely.
The need to buy because it's limited edition (kinda like a 'rare Pokemon'), you search high and low for them...

...but once you have them, you're like "Yes! I gotcha! Now I'll put you in my stash for safekeeping."

You never let it level up, you just keep them in the Pokeball.
Unfortunately, I'm like that when it comes to certain items.

I'm trying my best to use them all but there's JUST a permanent line of 'Pokemon' that I tend to reach out for. Like, I'd prefer to use my MUA Heaven and Earth and also my Sleek Au Naturel for eyeshadows, my TFS eyeliners, a certain kind of lipstick or gloss...etc.

I usually tend to rotate my base makeup all the time, to use them up.
I also carry 2-3 lip products in my bag when I go out, so I can change them up.

However, for eyeshadows, I tend to go for my cheaper options.

Maybe because they're cheaper?

I dunno.

It just seems like I'm a collector than a user. I mean, I still use them, but I have to push myself to use them.

Kinda like Pokemon.
I have a permanent line up of Pokemon. Every one of them good for something and some sort.

But yeah.

Like the Maybelline Color Tattoos. Buying 4 colours out of 8 because I believed in the hype. Then I get disappointed :/ but it's like buying them just for the sake of collecting.

That's kinda bad.

Makeup WILL get bad :/
Skincare too.

I need to be more controlled with things I buy.
Do I need them? Do I not have them?

I'm buying less and less makeup nowadays, but sometimes I end up buying something.

I don't even need it :T

I forced myself to use theBalmJovi Palette today, then I realised that I'm not gonna use the highlighter or blush that much. Even the lip products :O

The shadows are awesome though :/

But yeah, being a collector, but end up just cherishing it, I might as well not open them at all!!
Then I'll be a real collector LOL.

What about you?
Do you buy things for the sake of collecting, or do you buy them because you definitely will use them?
Are your buys impulse? Or were they thought out?

Do you fall for limited edition things?

Leave it in the comments :D

Do I wanna be a Pokemon Master? LOLno.

'til then, take care!

Drivers in Brunei...

First off, let me make it clear:
I. DON'T. DRIVE.

I've been thinking about it...because it's the ONLY convenient form of transportation in this country.
The purple buses? Do you see many locals use that? Quite rarely.

The complaints I hear from friends and some family is that the bus route is just so random and stuff.
Having had to use the buses to travel when I was in Japan, I kind of wish the buses here can be improved to mimic the system there.

It was always on time, convenient and just user-friendly.

Anyway, going back to the topic of drivers...

This was actually brought up by my lil' sister who just learned how to drive.

"WHY is the TV only showing accidents caused by mobile phones? NOT ALL accidents are caused by phones." She complained as she was driving us around to buy sungkai stuff.

"I mean, look at that." She says as she carefully drives the car. "That guy 'just masuk simpang tapi nada signal!!' How am I supposed to brake?"

"What if I did not see that, and I hit him? BECAUSE I DIDN'T SEE HIM TRYING TO 'MASUK' SIMPANG?"

"In the end, they'd blame ME because I hit him, even though it's HIM that didn't use the signal."

"Plus I'm a new driver, of course they'd blame it on me."

1) They just steal an opportunity (Honestly, I dunno how to translate 'menyampati')
2) They don't bother to use the signal

These 'menyampati' people, also go against the red traffic light. I've seen this happen many times.
I mean, if they get into an accident AND die, who's to blame but themselves?

The only time you CAN drive very fast and break ALL the rules, IN MY OPINION, is when you really want to poop and pee.

Or maybe you need to hurry because someone is gonna pass away and you wanna be there before they take their last breath.

Other than that, rules are made for driving to make life safer.

As a potential driver, I am personally scared because as the passenger, I've seen many bad things happen.

Hell, I've also been in a car accident when I was young.
I guess that gave me some kind of trauma to drive.

My lil' sister was involved in small hit and run accident when she small.
That driver just rammed into the car and he drove away.

Thankfully, there was a witness.

So yeah, accidents aren't always caused by people using their mobile phones.
C'mon, PSA (Public Service Announcement), you know better than that.

Every time when I see a car speeding, I say to myself: "Maybe they really need to go to the toilet. Hopefully they won't get into an accident."

Accidents are caused by drivers, too.
Obviously.

They ignore what is taught to them while taking the driving lessons, because they think that they're pro in driving, because they think that they're above the law.

I'm not always into rules but when it comes to things involving the lives of other people, you should at least respect them.

So, will I one day drive?
I know I should, but if the roads are littered with these reckless drivers, I'd rather work hard on improving the public transportation.

I'm all for the possibility of *coughtrainscough* but that's impossible maybe.

You can't live in Brunei without learning how to drive, I know that.
So drivers out there, make it possible for the roads to be safe.

Proper maintenance should be done regularly too, to keep the roads safe. Traffic lights, lights, signboards, etc.

I'd write this for the newspaper but my rusty writing is just not right LOL.

Blogging is the way to go.

Oh, and if any of the driving terms are wrong, excuse me because I don't drive and I haven't learned any of it LOL. I did ask my sis but she finds it easier to explain in Malay.

'til then, take care~

P.S: Keep your kids in line when they're in the car. Seriously.

Review: Catrice Cosmetics Made To Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow

Hi guys, how're you all?
It's the 6th day of Ramadhan and I've gained back a kilo or two. FML.
I blame the sweet stuff my family brought back from the UK (and also lack of exercise D:)

Well enough of picturing me getting fatter.

Today I'll be doing a review of the Catrice Made To Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow in the shade 'Copper & Gabbana'.

Catrice Cosmetics Made To Stay Longlasting Eyeshadow
Product Information:
METAL FINISH
Highly-pigmented color for an ultimate metallic shine. The creamy texture is easy to apply, won’t settle in the crease of your eyelid, doesn’t smudge and lasts and lasts and…
These cream eyeshadows are the equivalent of essence's Long Lasting Eyeshadow, except they are more posh in design. While essence's is housed in a plastic jar, the Catrice cream shadows are housed in a glass jar, with a plastic cap. It does not contain an anti-drying cap but the product stays moist. There are 3 other shades available. They contain only 5g of product, 0.5g less than essence. Product should be used up within 12 months, and they cost BND5.90 at Paloma.

Shade 080 'Copper & Gabbana'

'Copper & Gabbana' is a beautiful copper, with some noticeable golden shimmers and some multicoloured glitter. It swatches beautifully, and compliments my skin tone very well. The product itself is quite easier to apply compared to essence's. You don't need to dig your finger in to get a good amount of product. It's almost a mousse-y consistency, it's soft and it blends easily. Despite it being easier to blend, it also sets faster than Color Tattoos. Once it sets, it refuses to fall for insistent rubbing.

A softer consistency compared to essence and theBalm.
Almost similar to the Maybelline Color Tattoo.
Picture taken with flash.

Lasting power is quite good. It lasts 5-6 hours without creasing. There's minor fading but other than that, it's awesome. There's also no noticeable fallout despite the glitter.

I also tried to remove it with just water and it won't move at all!

I'd love to try it out for a longer time...however, I have a big issue with this product.

I'm allergic to the the formula D:

It swatched fine on my hand but once I put it on my lids, I felt like removing it!
It kind of tightened and it was uncomfortable, but I had to soldier on to try it out.

Such a pretty shade.
Taken with flash.

Thankfully it didn't make my eyes swollen, but I don't like pain associated with applying makeup!
I tried giving it another chance but it just hurt.

It's a shame because I love the colour and the fact that it lasts a lot longer than the Color Tattoo, I thought it'd be a nice alternative.

This is also my first Catrice product! Such a shame!

---

PROS:

-Lasts about 5-6 hours without setting/without primer (Could last a lot longer, I believe)
-Works as a good base for eyeshadows.
-Affordable.
-Locally available.
-Waterproof.
-Blends so easily.
-Comparable to other drugstore, even some high end brands!
-Sets fast and doesn't budge.
-No glitter fallout.
-Product doesn't dry up easily.

CONS:

-I'm allergic to the formula.
-A bit heavier for travel.
-Limited colour selection (only 4 available on the website).

Rating: 4/5 (I love the colour and blend-ability but unfortunately I'm allergic)

Will I buy this again?

Unfortunately, no. If I wasn't allergic, maybe. But I have other cream eyeshadows that work as well.

Do I recommend this?

Yes, and hopefully you're not allergic. It's a good alternative to the Maybelline Color Tattoos (Locally available for BND10) but it has limited colour selection.

Where can you find this?

At Paloma, you can buy this at an affordable price.
Catrice is getting more available worldwide too! It's a nice alternative to other drugstore brands.

---

Hope you found this review helpful.
I feel kinda bittersweet about this product.

Recently buying this, falling in love with it, then to find out I have an allergy from it.

I'm not sure if it's just this one shade, but I don't want to risk it.

Have you had a product you love but can't use due to allergy?
Leave it in the comments below!

'til then, take care!

Clothing Haul :D

This is rather impromptu LOL.
I was out with my parents and my nephew and we just came from the hospital. I needed to see my doctor about some things...and well, it made me feel down.

So yeah, we went to Hua Ho Mall to buy a rice cooker LOL. I was gonna buy some headphones but I actually need a very good one for music making so I passed.

There were some cute clothes from this brand called EighteenPlus? They just have the cutest things!
So mom decided to get me some clothes because most of the clothes she got me were small :x

Granted, normally I wouldn't agree to clothes that cost more than BND50 per piece but I was feeling down.

( ;-; ) I'm spoiled, I know.

This is friggin' cute. Unfortunately it's quite pricy :/ I normally don't buy something that costs this much.
By this much I meant: BND54.90.
This normally cost the same like the one on top but it was half-off.
Goodness.
It's so cute D: Comes with a belt too. (Not in photo)
This is more of a stretchy material and is really comfy.
Still unforgiving with the price though. BND49.90.
This is cute and light and is the cheapest one here.
BND19.90.
I really normally only indulge myself in expensive makeup lol; so yeah, this is a bit different.
But I don't think I'll be shopping for clothes again in the near future.

Except for underwear I guess.

Last but not least~
I decided to get a Zam-Zam Hair Oil.
I chose the coconut variant.

Never have I tried this oil! I just wanna try it out because my friend says my hair will grow a lot faster!

Well, I hope so D: I hate it short.

Cheapest thing in this post, definitely.

I'm loving the LUSH Mask of Magnaminty.
ICE CREAM I TELL YA.

Anyway, I should sleep.
I really wanna throw up :x

Good night then!
Take care.

UK Haul :D (Through My Parents)

Yes, you read that right.
Through my parents! LOL.

They just came back from the UK. They were there for my sister's graduation.

I didn't ask for much, I actually got all the things I asked for, and some.

My dad kinda indulged in some pricey skincare ( ;^; ) I feel like they scammed him! (I wish he'd remember the price tbh, so I can check)

If it works well though, then I'd be in a pickle to see if I'd EVER repurchase them XD

My mom bought me some questionable clothes. In small sizes because she thought I'm stick thin now.
FALSE.

Oh mom XD;

Anyway, here's what they got me~

Mom's Picks.
The blue shirt is from Forever21. I quite liked that one.
It fits well.

THEN comes the weird shirt with tassels everywhere! Mom thought it'd suit me.
Uh. Mommmmmmmm noooo.

Plus it's S-sized. I'm an L.

It fits, but I look so fat in it.
Plus, my niece said I looked like a bird.

The black lace shirt is pretty but...it's a lace backing and lace peplum and stuff.
Looks good but too revealing and I look fat XD

The white lace shirt is cute but mom got it in M-size u.u;
I look super fat.

To fit these small clothes, I need to lose at least 5-10KG.

She also got me this sweater from H&M. It fits fine.
MOTIVATION!!!!

Dad's Picks.
Dad got me some cute trousers :D it looks nice.
He also picked a Dorothy Perkins' dress~

Mom insisted on choosing a smaller size but thankfully dad decided to keep the larger one.
By far, the dress is my favourite.

I've been slowly trying to see if the Peter Pan collar fits me but mom took it very seriously and chose it all based on that XD;

But yeah, losing that much weight might be beneficial for me.

Soap&Co. Stuff
When dad took this out of his bag, he was like "This cost 100+ pounds."
He said this while taking out the Body Scrub.

I was like "WHAT."

A scrub that cost that much??? FOR REAL?? DAD!!!

After all the confusion it turned out that overall everything cost that much.
Still, quite expensive really.

I feel like the saleslady scammed him though :x

Dad got me the Ocean Body Scrub, Mineral Peeling Gel and the quite popular Nail Kit in Passion.

Next are the things I asked from my mom!

Two of each!
MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer (BOGO I think)
She bought two of the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in Transparent.

LUSH is LOVE.
Then comes the things I asked for from LUSH :D
She got all the things I wanted plus one extra.

The Power Liquid Lipstick!
LUSH gave some free disposable makeup applicators since my mom asked lol.
I wished they gave some samples from their soap or something!

I tried both Herbalism and Mask of Magnaminty...
LOVED the smell of the mask!! It's like Peppermint & Pistachio Ice Cream!
It contains no pistachios though.

My first Coach bag.
Mom decided to buy everyone a Coach bag.
( =w=* ) MOMMMM.

I have the purple one lol. It's for Raya so I didn't mind.
I personally don't really like Coach, to be completely honest.

How pretty is that??
Last but not least, a shawl from my sister.
I chose a blue one to fit my with new baju kurung.

Well, I hope it'll fit!

Have you guys prepared for Raya? LOL.

I feel spoiled :x Alhamdulillah though!
I wished the clothes were a lot bigger though, but still, it acts as motivation to lose weight XD

But if I DO lose weight, that means everything else would be loose D:

EEK.

Choices, choices.

But it'd be nice to be healthy and smaller in size for once.

I've never been thin.

Anyway, I'm a bit tired lol.

'til then, take care!!

Cosplay Test: Mey Rin from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler

Ever since I found out that my nephew has the Harry Potter glasses, I knew that I needed to try out the wig I had for Mey Rin lol. With makeup and lenses.

I don't have the costume yet unfortunately!
I wanted to lose more weight before I start making it though.
For the dress, I need to make it at the tailor but I think I can make the headdress myself. The apron is a bit complicated for me to make.

Sniper Version I wanna do.
But yeah, I need to also be able to pull off the nerdy one (easier than the more sexy sniper version LOL)

FAT THIGHS GUYS!!

Adorable Mey Rin
I have the fabric already. I decided to go a bit darker than the blue people usually use.
As for the wig, I just trimmed the bangs a tiny bit. I haven't fixed it.

I edited my awful dark circles with Photoshop LOL
You can view some of the unedited ones on Instagram or my FB.

I quickly trimmed my brows with a brow shaver just to try this look out lol.
Looks okay.

Normal version lol
Looks odd. I guess it's due to the weird Harry Potter glasses.
It's not comfy!

Pfft! Bu!
Then it's time to transform into the Sniper Mey Rin~

Well, partially.
I like how my eyes look animated already with just the lenses and black eyeliner!
I wonder if I can pull off an 'I'll kill you' face.

"Can I kill you?"
 My favourite photo is this:

Loving my eyes in this shot.
You don't need outrageous anime eyes if you have big eyes already!
My glasses hide my eyes pretty well.
Heck, it made my eyeliner go away that well...

My eyes look very East Asian.
I cut my front bangs a bit too short.

I fail.

But it looks okay.
My good angle is definitely not face-front shots lol But other than my nose, I look okay.
No?

Ah well.

'til then!
Take care!!
