Hm, should I?

Should I?

I mean, start with that project where you use up your products first before you can buy more things. Project 10 Pan is it? I haven't looked up the details but I certainly need to use up things :D

I mean, since I started getting into makeup, and unfortunately had products breaking me up (I think it was the Clean & Clear stuff :( ) everyone's been blaming me getting makeup from eBay. Well, hello~ I only buy eye products on eBay, and that concealer. The concealer however is innocent, I believe it didn't cause any breakouts except for when I don't thoroughly clean my face?

My problem is that my scars heal so slowly compared to before,so it seems like I have lots of acne thingy going on, but honestly, it's just slow healing :( I never break out on my cheek areas before so I'm really sad when I started to break out there, everywhere really. I'm still trying to figure out why but I'm guessing it's bad diet to blame. I started exercising regularly again so hopefully that'll help!

So, getting on to the project thing.

I have one small toner of Clean & Clear I really don't want to use :I I'm afraid that's the cause. I'm willing to try once more to see if it'll break me out again but, BUT I'm in my pms period so there can be acne coming from hormones too. So it's a bit risky.

I think more than using up products, I should throw away things instead!

You see, I like to keep old stuff and that includes beauty products, which is a no-no!!! No?

So yeah.

I mean, my two older sisters usually "present" me with things they don't want and some of them, are old. They never tell me though :x Jahat (meanie)

I love this tinted moisturizer from Boots, but it was bought in 2009? I should throw that away right?? I never use it anymore but it's still kept in my collection :x goddamn.

There are a lot more...sigh. I don't want to throw all of them at once.

I guess my personal project would be "letting go" of these junk treasures instead of using it up.

No?

It's a good exercise.

There are some mascaras....old ones that I use from time to time. One of them is the one I bought in Japan. That was in 2008 O.O I know what you're thinking, you should only use mascara for 3 months!! But it's not doing anything bad, I think.

But yeah, I'll sort out things I need to throw away. it'll hurt, but it's necessary.

At First "Glance"

So, I tried a little bit of everything except for a few things (MUA Liquid Liner and Waterproof Mascara, nailpolish remover, Nair wax strip) and some I LOVED, liked and some...not so much. Oh and, the w7 lipbalm wasn't for me :D yay.

The MUA Lipsticks:

Hm. I can say they're not as drying as the Kanebo lipstick my mom gave me. They smell nice, not like the crayon-like smell of Nyx Round Lipsticks. It has a flowery scent almost. Of all the shades, Shade 2 is definitely a no-no for me. It was too purple and old looking :/ my sister wasn't kidding when she said it's a lipstick for Mom.

When I compare Shade 7 and 9....I prefer the former. Sadly, without concealing my lips, they barely show on me!!! I have to conceal :( Shade 7 made me seem youthful. I haven't tried 9 with concealer yet. I might use 7 tomorrow for this charity event my school is having. Just a tad bit on my lips. It's orange-pink to me :D it looks very summery. Kinda like watermelon, or just rockmelon.

The lipsticks are fine, just not for my skintone. Which is dark olive I guess.

The MUA Lipgloss:

Love the smell, hate the glitter. WTF. It just ruins it. It scratched my lip D: it's huge chunks of glitter!! it's a colour similar to Shade 7 lipstick. Maybe they'll go well together, but for now, I'll stick to my DIOR Lipgloss!

The Technic Adorn eyeliner:

:D I've only tried the black one but gosh, I love it. It shows up well when drawn over eyeshadow :D a trait my eyeliners never had (except for liquid and gel of course). I love it very much.

The Technic Adorn Makeup set:

Reminds me of the 120 and 88 palette textures, I like the matte black the most. It's quite pigmented. I didn't really like how chalky the blush was but I'm not a huge blush user so :/ I haven't tried the lipglosses but I think they'd be sheer.

The LUSH Porridge soap:

MAJOR LOVE. I haven't finished curing them so I tried a bit of it. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I dunno if it'll do any wonders to my skin but so far, I love it. And when the oat bits just get left behind when the soap melts :O I just want to eat it! EAT IT.

I love the orangey sugary smell a lot.

------

So, that was my thoughts on it, summary of it. I need to try wearing the makeup out and see how to make it fit. Oh, I wish I had unlimited supply of the soap though ;-; the smell is so strong I love it.

'til next time :D

UK "Haul"

Ish. Because I doubt they were bought at the same time.

Well, my sister is studying there and my bro went there for holiday for a week and managed to get the things from her. I had a lot of girly products :3 too bad the things I asked from my bro are out of stock from Superdrugs :( I only got two MUA lipsticks from him.

I'm not much of a lipstick person really but I am using a lipbrush to control the amount of what i put on me. Too red will make my teeth look quite yellow lol; hm, I drink a lot of tea so it's stained.

I am currently using this whitening toothpaste but I doubt it even works!!

So yeah, my sis got me lots of things :) even the last minute Lush soap I asked her to buy.

So here are the items!!

LUSH Porridge Soap 100g

Technic Adorn Eyeliners and Makeup Set, Nair wax strips, MUA liquid liner, lipgloss, lipstick, mascara, w7 Fruity Lip Balm and Royal Jet Set "Girls On The Go" nail polish remover
For the MUA stuff, I got liquid liner in shade 5, lipgloss in shade 5, black waterproof mascara and lipsticks in shade 2, 9 and 7. The Technic Adorn stuff are surprisingly pigmented when I swatched it. I was surprised. I haven't tried most of them but I'm really happy.

My family's not though. My skin's been quite bad really. I'm trying my best to keep it makeup free. I probably blame all the old makeup :( I just threw some away today. It's hard for me, being quite a hoarder. But I braved myself and did it.

I dunno, it's nearly that time of the month so....maybe that's why my skin's been bad. I've been drinking Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) with warm water for 2 days. I like it. Quite be detoxing my body so hence my skin's been pretty bad. I've been on a healthier skincare regime really.

Today, I made an ACV + water + green tea toner. After I used it, I think my present acne got inflamed for a while. I dunno. It just turned red. Maybe it's cleansing it. Maybe. I'm not sure.

I personally hope it works.

Actually I've been taking ACV for another skin problem I have. Mom doesn't seem to take it seriously but it's genetic. I have KP, ever since I reached my teens.

It's really eaten up my confidence and stuff for years, plus...I'm quite chubby :(

I have started exercising again though. Paired with the diluted ACV, I hope I'll get healthier in the long run.

I'm really trying hard. But PMSing, I've been eating like I've been starved for days!!!

I avoided milk :( hoping it'll lessen acne.

I dunno. Sigh. I just hope my redness is just from the ACV working its magic. If not, I really want to see a dermatologist.

Cyclax?

So, today was my English Literature exam. And it sucked. One more written paper left. It's also English Literature. It's saddening for me since it's always been one of my stronger subjects...but I disappointed myself today. Like, seriously disappointed. I'm not even expecting a C. I just couldn't write tangible sentences that made sense. Really. It was as if I was stupid and couldn't write.

But, immediately after the exam, I went to The Mall with my mom, sister and my two baby fruits (niece and nephew), for lunch and for playtime. I was depressed really, food was the answer, unfortunately.

But then I also got sick of food so I might as well exercise after this.

I bought another Cyclax product from Winmark. This time, it's a face mask. It's a 'Lavender & Tea Tree Clarifying Face Mask'. I was shocked that I didn't notice this before. So far, my St Ives mask isn't working as well, sucks as a spot treatment...it does help somewhat but I need more time before I can review it. Trying to get my face into shape first before I can judge.

Sorry for the bad quality pic ;-;

I haven't tried it. It smells like lavender of course, mixed with a somewhat oily smell from the tea tree. I bought it for BND$4.50 (n.p BND$5.00) so I'm assuming there's a sale? lol; last time, it was also like that though. Ah well, not complaining.

I might try this tonight and pray that it won't break me out. It's nearly that time of the month and I'm breaking out from it. Plus, I had cereal for dinner last night...woke up with tiny bumps. Hopefully they're harmless.

Ever since I started using the Biore Acne Cleanser, I noticed that acne stayed at bay where it makes sense (as in period acne? lol hormonal acne I guess), scars are diminishing VERY slowly.....but then recently I've only just washed my face, no toner, no moisturizer. I just treat my acne with NEXCARE Acne Patch. From time to time I do pop them though...when NEXCARE failed.

Anyway, this mask 're-balances excess oils, de-toxifies & clarifies, cleans & freshens'. I hope it lives up to its claim. So far, the two Cyclax items I've tried...well, they're pleasant but they don't do anything different. I mean, I'm not allergic or anything but they're body care, not face care. So this is my first Cyclax face care item.

I hope it works somehow. So that when I finish my St Ives clay mask, I don't have to hunt it down. This is a cheaper alternative. So I'm really hoping that it does my skin wonders.

We'll see. Even if it doesn't work, I just hope it doesn't break me out!!!!

So far, Cyclax has been pleasant. I don't want it to be my enemy.

Okay then!

Food Overload

Other than my haul, I also wanted to share some pics of the food I've consumed over the week XD

Hot Point's Chicken Baked Rice. Delicious.

Hot Point's Fruit Cocktail with Custard and Warm Honey Lemon.

Hot Point's Banana Fritters with Ice Cream. Funny dessert really. lol.

The Colony's Macarons. I had coconut and orange chocolate!

Astronaut Ice Cream. Was excited for this.

It's Neapolitan flavoured. To me, it has this malt marshmallow  taste . It  tasted nice.

Starbucks' Cinnamon Bun.

Starbucks Green Tea Cream with whipped cream and chocolate chips.

Dad's lunch lol. Sugarbun smoken fish thingy.
I had the nugget version of it. It was soggy lol.
I forgot to add, Starbucks Biscotti. I only tried the Chocolate Pistachio.
I really recommend Hot Point's Baked Rice! I especially love the vegetable one. The fruit cocktail dessert was also yummy. Just try them all! Go on!

I'm on a no-sweet food diet for a week. So...yeah lol. I hope I can survive.

Miri Mini Haul + eBay Buys

Been a long time since I blogged. Haha. Easily losing interest? Yes. But it's more to procrastination right now, actually.

I would love to blog more if I had a better camera. It's not fun to not be able to focus an item well :(

Anyway, yesterday I went to Miri. It's a 2 hour drive from Brunei I guess. I was mostly asleep anyway lol.

So, I bought lots of stuff. More than I had intended to. Having my older sister tag along helped with that.

In terms of makeup/body beauty products, this is my haul:

From Left to Right: St Ives Skin Firming Lotion, Nexcare Acne Patch,  Sample Jars, Biore Acne Clear Cleanser, Falsies Applicator Clip, Oil Blotting Paper, Marie Beauty Eyelash Glue, SilkyGirl Silky White Powder in Natural, SilkyGirl Double Intense Gel Eye Liner + Gentle Eye Makeup Remover.
I've never bought this much. lol. Kinda surprised. I don't shop much.

I bought the SilkyGirl cosmetics last minute when I saw at Watsons that it was at the 'Buy 2, Get 20% Off'. I took that as a chance since I don't have a gel liner yet, I needed  new pressed powder and my eye makeup remover was nearly finished. So I happily (last minutely) bought them. I have to say that from the swatches I did, it's quite nice.

I also tried the St Ives lotion and I was so happy that it wasn't at all sticky. We'll see if it firms up my skin or not. I'm quite fat lol. It's moisturizing too so I love it for now.

The oil blotting paper was kinda scratchy...but it has 150 sheets so who cares!

I haven't tried the eyelash glue and the applicator yet. Looking forward to it.

Nexcare is my holy grail in stopping me from further scarring my face ;-; it looks so horrible when I ran out of the acne patch. So I bought two to make sure I'll get by a month or so XD

The Biore cleanser...so far, since I used it last night, it didn't break me out so I'm super happy and looking forward to good results in a week. I'll do a follow up to that one in another post.

I bought the sample jars because it retailed at RM1.50 at SuperSave. It's sold for BND1.50 in Brunei too so wtf. It's also a different design than the ones I bought here. I bought two.

I also bought November's S Cawaii and this book I've always wanted, "Not Without My Sister". It was kinda a steal too. Selling for RM39.90 at Popular, with a 10% discount card, I calculated it to be around BND$14+!!! ( OAO ) that's like...waaay cheaper than ordering it online (BND$28 + taxes probably). Also, a hair accessory from Parkson.

Mom also bought me footwear!!

I've always wanted flats! But somehow this colour is....meh. Well, I'll wear them anyway. Wanna go on a date with my boyfie looking girly.

Other than that, my orders from eBay also came :D

Professional 20 Color Camouflage Concealer Palette

(Fake) "M.A.C" Hello Kitty 7 Brush Set

12 Waterproof Pencil Liner
I love them all. I didn't get disappointed by the brushes either, I expected low quality brushes...but they weren't bad at all. I tried the stippling brush, the lip brush and the eyeshadow brush already and they were all fine. Except...maybe the eyeshadow brush was a bit scratchy and hard. I dunno if it's supposed to be like that. I was also surprised the colour didn't stick to it despite it being white when I washed it! So I'm very happy with that.

As for the concealer, I haven't really managed to wear them fully for a long time to see its lasting power, and whether or not it cakes. It's creamy but at the same time, it's also quite hard to get product onto a brush. I prefer to use my finger. Need to experiment more.

The eyeliner looks awesome swatched on my wrist but when I tried to apply it to my (oily) eyelids, it was hard. It was like any other liner I had. I'll try with a primer next time and see how it goes. As far as being waterproof, it is. But it is not smudge-proof, so be careful when you rub your eyes!!!

I'm loving the pink for lining my lower lashline, I don't know why.

So, that's all for now! I can't get nice swatches of things yet without a good camera! I feel like I'm depriving people and myself lol.

Until next time!!

-Nisah-

P.S: Oh yeah. I forgot to add, I also bought AKB48's 'Beginner' single LOL. Random I know. Usually I'd buy comics but I didn't this time. SUPER SHOCKED.
