MASSIVE Miri Haul (Part 2)

Okay, so here's part 2 of this "massive" haul.
Honestly, I was supposed to buy some clothes and shoes...but somehow I ended up not doing any of that.

But at least I didn't focus on one shop.
The biggest mistake I did was use up RM100 at ONE accessory shop *shoots self*
Damn cute things. DAMN THEM ALL.

Anyway, after going to SaSa, I went to buy some magazines at Popular. I couldn't find CLEO at all and I was annoyed. I did buy ViVi and SCawaii though. In the end, I had to buy CLEO at eMart as that was the only place that had the magazine!! It cost RM9, which is a lot more than Popular (they sell CLEO at RM7.50 or RM7.70, I forgot) but it is still way cheaper than in Brunei.

Beauty and Fashion Mags~
So yeah, basically I went around to look for CLEO...

Well, after that, I went shopping for my cousin's wig thingies. She just needed the things to take care of her wig.

So I got her a wig brush, a wig wax and a wig cap.

The extra brush and the tweezers are for me.
I also noticed that this shop sells some Baviphat for super cheap D: like... RM15 for a BB Cream?
LIES.

I'm pretty sure they're the fake ones LOL.

Well, after that, I went to The Body Shop.
Actually I wanted to check the price for the starter kits but they didn't have any D: what.

So I got a small Body Butter and a soap.

Spiced Vanilla Soap and Cocoa Butter Body Butter
If you noticed, the soap is in old packaging. The sales assistant was nice enough to tell me about it when I was about to pay since I told her I don't have discount code. How nice ( ;w; )

Plus it's just soap, what's the packaging got to do with it, right?
It smells delightful.

As with the Cocoa Body Butter. It's weird but Brunei doesn't sell the Cocoa range here D:

After going to Body Shop, I went to Watsons.
And OMG.
I was so happy ( >w< ) I even forgot to buy makeup.

Watsons Haul Part 1
Part 2
Okay, well, I guess you can count the lip balm as makeup.
But I bought mostly medicine stuff XD;

Well, I've been having stomach problems so my dad told me to get ENO and my daily dose of ACTAL.

I did plan to get the Nano White Intensive De-Pigmentor Serum so I was glad it was on sale~ Save a lil' bit of money.

Bought the wrong T3 Mycin because I went away when I asked my mom to get it for me. But I'm sure it'll work the same?

There's Nexcare...and Garnier Pure 3 in 1 cleanser. I bought it because it was on sale and I was curious.

I've been using both the cleanser and the serum and so far, I like it.

Last but not least, SkinFood.

The reason why I had to use up my last RM50.

I was actually planning to get the Peppermint Foot Cream (that I believe is RM24)
But they only had Almond...Foot Cream.

It was RM30+ nearly RM40 I'm sure.
Then somehow, they pushed the foot mask too.

And me, being dumb just said yes.

And darn, Total was RM50 and some cents.

I wasn't thinking.

But then I also decided to redeem a gift.
And I chose the hand cream ;O

Reason I'm broke.
I haven't tried any of them yet though.

So yeah, that's the tale of how I ended up using nearly RM400 to shop.

The bad thing is that I missed out on two things in my list that day:

1) Eye cream or gel
2) Empty pots from Super Save.

Darn.

But overall I'm happy.

The bad thing is that I'm itching to shop online.

DAMMIT.

I have to borrow from my sis I believe....

NUUUU.

Ah well.

Take care!

Love For Soap + Food Pics + Woah...

So yeah, long time no blog. I've been procrastinating, unfortunately.
I've had lots of ideas on what to blog about but, I just didn't feel like blogging. Plus, the internet just sucks nowadays D:

My sis came back from the UK yesterday, and that meanssssssss.....SOAP.
And this hair thing she got me. Supposedly, it'll make my hair more volume-y. Well, if I feel like cosplaying Adele, I might use it LOL.

LUSH :D Inside it is....
Porridge
Honey I Washed The Kids
To be fair, these are leftovers XD Well, she cured them long enough. She didn't use it of course. I know I love Porridge, and now I get to try HIWTK!!! It smells so nice. Not as honey-like as I imagined but then she put both soaps together, so yeah, the smell might have changed lol.

She got my older sister and my bro-in-law Sea Vegetable. I wonder if I can ask for a sample ;P

I'm still waiting for my order from SoapyLuv. XD I hope it doesn't melt during transit!!!
Ordered six soaps so... :O

She also got me these!! *blurred photo, so sorry*
I love this soap :) it just fits the hand and has enough exfoliating/massaging feel on it.

I'd love to give one...to...him...but that's impossible LOL.

Chocomania Heart Soaps!
 This is Bumpits?
LOL.
Such a cute packaging!!
Still cute inside~
Covered in pink paper, is this!!
I tried it on my head, it does stick very nicely!! Looking forward to using this. One of these days.

So, I'm sure you know how much I love bar soaps/handmade soaps right now right?
Yeah. It's enough to get me on cloud nine actually :)

My brother told me my skin looked better last night. Oh really? LOL.
I hope so ):

I started using my HadaLabo Tamagohada Cleanser again. So far, it's not so harsh on my skin as last time I guess. It has AHA+BHA. I just need to remember to use sunscreen. Right now, what I'm using is the cleanser, C+M's Whitening Toning Lotion, the T3 Mycin Gel and then I change moisturizers every now and then. Though right now, I'm using the AC Clinic White Trouble Essencializer. The smell is not as offensive as before lol.

I'll see if it has a good effect on my skin. Yeah?

My brother told me to use OXY Cover as concealer but it stinksssss. Sigh.

I had a feeling my SkinFood Rice Concealer Tip is well, bacteria-filled D: so I froze it. That's the only way I can control the bacteria I think because I noticed I've been breaking out more on the places I concealed. I guess.

I hope that'd kill them.

Oh yeah, FOOD PIC DUMP!!!

The other day I went to Excapade with my family :)
Shared this with my mom :O
Salmon Head. Scary but yummy.
And this is for me :)
Chirashi Don
After this overload of raw food, I decided to lay off the raw next time.
It was good but not as good as just one raw fish.

This also has egg (that's cooked) but I wasn't a fan of it. One of the reasons is that it SMELLED. I dunno if it's the fish or the bowl itself. Or the rice. It just tasted kind of OFF. Like...it went bad.

It bothered me but I finished it anyway.

Somehow I've been having bad tummy aches until today :O

I also made No-Recipe Lasagna!
We only used two cheeses, no meat, just spaghetti sauce and lots of onions and some garlic LOL. We also made last minute white sauce.

It tastes nice.
Oily from the cheese D:
Reminds me of Pizza Hut's, without the meat.
The other day, I went on a movie date with my besties from MS.
We watched Snow White and the Huntsman and The Avengers.

I KNOW. Late on The Avengers thing but hey, apparently, I wouldn't mind watching it five times like my friend did. The friend who was watching with me said it's her third time watching and she still won't mind watching it again.

I was fangirling Captain America and Bruce Banner.
I really need to watch the Captain America movie now >_<;

As for Snow White...all I have to say is WHY BELLA. WHY.
It's so hard for me to refrain from making references on Twilight. Made my friends laugh because of it BUT....Charlize Theron did a gooooood job :D

So did Thor---I mean, the Huntsman.

This is what I had before the movie LOL.

HOT POINT!!
Sea Honey Coconut!
Mix, Mix, Mix!!
Refreshing dessert (or in my case, appetizer) for a hot day!
Veggie Baked Rice! They had too much onion on that day. DO NOT WANT!!
LOL call me random but here're pics of the chocolate I ate yesterday..
Thornton's!

Orange....zest...thingy.
OOOOH.
AAAAH.
WOOOO.
SEXY.
It was good. LOL.
I gave half to my younger sis.

Oh yeah, I also tried the Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask from The Body Shop last night. It was my sister's.

My skin liked it :O I wonder how much they sell it here.
It dries fast though.

I have reservations about The Body Shop products now lol due to my bad allergy to one body mist.. but if maybe the masks they have suit me, I might just chuck out some money on them lol.

Oh yeah, I saw on my Facebook feed today that Urban Decay decided to sell products to China? Well, I think they'll lose more customers that way. Loyal ones too. Why they did it? To me, it was irrelevant and for money, no matter how much they try to sugarcoat it ):

I haven't even tried their products but it just seems....off.

Ah well.

OH AND LOOKIE AT MY LUNCH!!
Hoopa from Hommed Baga!
YUM.

OKAY THEN.

See you! Have a nice day!!

Steaks and Drama

Hey guys! (Assuming people actually read my blog lol)
I got some good news (kinda).

Well, actually I've been fasting for two days so I got to eat my steak tonight! Although it was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered for" medium well" and they gave "burnt well done". It hurt my teeth :(

At least the teriyaki sauce was nice.
It had caramelized onions in it and it was nice!

Here's the culprit to my toothache!

Australian Rib-Eye Steak in....Burnt Well Done.
Yesterday I also fasted and impulsively made Baked Vanilla Lemon Cheesecake!
For something without a recipe, I'd say job well done to myself!

Although, being me, there's bound to be lumps here and there in my batter.
Sheesh.

This is why I can't be a pastry chef.

The small potted ones. These were thicker in taste compared to the thinner bigger one I made.
How it looks like inside. YUM.
I really liked tartness of it. It's not too sour yet it's still quite lemony which I liked.

On another note, I played around with my mom's 2+ year old M.A.C Quad. It's in Amazon I think.
I expected pigmented things but was quite disappointed.

But I do like the soft texture of it.
Really soft.

Too bad it's old. But still usable I think.

M.A.C Amazon Quad Palette
Crappy swatches :x

I have to say I really liked the colour combination, as odd as it is. But I won't use the purple one I think lol. I can play with this for a while. Yay.

Oh and, important update on the The Body Shop drama.

I went again, this time with my mom, to go see the manager. Thank goodness one of the SAs remembered me (although pointing out I was with a guy on that day was kinda rude lol) and I just voiced my concern that they haven't contacted me like promised.

Me and my mom gave back our body mists to them.
They told me they might just let us exchange with an item.

But yeah, they were kinda surprised the person who promised to contact me didn't.
So they gave us a card with her name and phone number.
They also told me that they will remind her to call me.

If not, I'd have to call her.

Apparently by "office", she meant Singapore. Oh really?
Brunei goes through Singapore?
How.....sad.

But well, I got this because I couldn't resist putting it off any longer.
The Chocomania line heart soap lol.

Wanted the smaller ones but mom chose this one instead. It smells more like perfume than chocolate.
Well, hopefully this time they'll be more considerate.
We ARE paying customers.
Members even.

Sigh.

I also bought two of these tonight:

Deodorant. Hah. It does contain Aluminium Chlorohydrate but meh.
I read that it's not good for the body :( but this freaking brand does work all day.
That's that.

My natural salts deodorant sucks LOL.

I had high hopes for that expensive s*it.

Oh well.

'til then! Good night!

Snails? ...and allergies.

I went through my third treatment at SkinTologist today, so far, my blackheads are still active. Pimples too I guess. Blargh.

I was sleepy XD (It's friggin huge btw. lol.)

I guess it can't be helped since I'm not using the intended skincare for the treatment :(

Right now I'm using a mix of Suiskin and Kanebo when I cleanse. Sometimes I incorporate HadaLabo.

I have this one nasty and painful pimple on my forehead, my chin and my chest and well, I am not going to take a pic of that LOL.

But yeah, in desperation, I decided to beg my parents to get me The Skin Shop's ''Recovery Solution Cream' A.K.A Snail Cream.

It's so pretty. Gosh.
So yeah, snails. Yum.

It retails here for BND$39.90 at Paloma. The price at the site is SKW35000 (won?) so, I don't think it's that far off expensive!! D: Quite a surprise really.

Site:  http://the-skinshop.com/  (if you look closely, the last shop in the distributor pic is Paloma :DDD)

I'm gonna pay my dad back once I get a job.

Haha.

Well, I'm going to try it out tonight, replacing my Blanchir Superior Milky Conditioner.

I tried it out at Paloma, putting it on the back of my hand.
First thing that I noticed was how cooling it was!

It also sinks into the skin fairly quickly and leaves a cooling effect, rather than a sticky one.

Well, I'm gonna try it out on the face and the pimply areas and see if it helps. I hope it does, I have high hopes for it.

I'll do an "in-depth" review about it once I've settled into it for about 2 weeks or a month :)

As for allergies....

The Body Shop's Body Mist I bought....when sprayed to my neck, it makes it so itchy and red.
Dammit. It's still so itchy, I'm very disturbed.

Are we not supposed to spray it there? ):

Urgh. It's not like I can return it, can I?

( TT^TT ) ah well.

I'm loving my new BB Cream from SkinFood btw :)
I can't make a proper review of it yet due to my skin problems, so I can't really say if it breaks me out or not.

But it glides on so easily and blends so easily I love it :D

Oh and, here are the things my sis got me from her trip :D

A huge bar of 'Sexy Peel Soap' from LUSH. It is so huge. I think it costs like BND$27 (once converted)!! She cut it into 5 pieces and took a piece :)
I tried it out, it left my bathroom smelling citrus-y but it doesn't stick onto the skin as much like my Porridge soap. But I still like it for its exfoliation :D

LASplash SplashProof Sealer :)
I found out today that Paloma sells LASplash (didn't check the price range though), so if this is good, at least I know I can buy it locally :D this was around USD7 I think.

That's all for now :)

Mustika Ratu Mangir Soap Review

I got over-excited. So I did an early review of one of the soaps I got last night.
Yes, because I love to try out new soap, this had to be sampled soon.

And you know what?
Thank goodness I did.

The soap is awesome.

I love it!

I'm really not sure what 'mangir' means, but I'm guessing it's healthy and stuff XD

It's supposed to keep the skin healthy, whitens and also clears off dead skin. I kinda paraphrased that. To top that off, the smell sticks to your body the whole day. Ish. I haven't exercised with it yet lol.

At first I was turned off by the strong smell but then I got used to it. It smells like herbs and I can't complain much. It looks like ginger in the picture though.

It comes in a cute box.

Ingredients (a bit covered by the price lol, will update what it is)

How it looks like, it's covered in a translucent paper.
I'm so happy the soap looks like this. You see, I love soap that has these tiny things that can help scrub your body as you use it. The soap itself fits perfectly for my palm so it didn't slip. It lathers easily and there's bubbles aplenty. As you scrub, you'll notice flecks of the soap, that kinda reminds me of wood.

What I liked about it:

- The smell is kinda therapeutic as you scrub.
- It scrubs off dead skin gently.
- It's so compact that it's cute.
- I like the packaging.
- Makes me appreciate traditional beauty stuff.
- Doesn't dry me out

What I didn't really like:

- The overpowering smell at first sniff.
- The flakes are kinda scratchy at the same time.
- It's hard to stop using it lol

For BND$3.50 (n.p) (20% off and I got a free one too), it's not too expensive.
I think in the long run, this might be a soap I'd go to again lol.

Unless there are other nice soaps from Mustika Ratu.

I'll do an update of this after a week or two.
