Review: Herb Day Cleansing Wipes

I'm back with another review :D
This time, I'm going to talk about my favourite cleansing wipes from TheFaceShop!
Herb Day Cleansing Wipes!!

"Gentle yet thorough cleansing wipes with plant extracts"
I believe I've been using this particular wipe since last year.
I've tried some others, but honestly, I go back to this one.
It's quite affordable, and works well.

At TheFaceShop Brunei, it costs BND4.90. I believe in Malaysia, it costs RM8.90.

I forgot to add, this packet is actually the refill version but hey, it's a LOT cheaper than the one that's more sturdy and has the anti-drying cap.

You can always store this in resealable plastic bags to keep it moist!

Product Description and Directions :D
This cleansing wipe is also my first of its kind. The reason why I picked this up was because I felt like really cleaning my face. When I'm too tired at night, I just use this baby and then use a deep clean cleanser and I think it's fine.

"Avoid contact with eyes" <- I ignore this.
There's actually another kind of cleansing wipe from the same line, but it's for removing eye and lip makeup. I've actually tried it, but honestly, I prefer this one. Yes, it says not to use it near the eyes but so far, I have no unpleasant experience with it.

Of course, if possible, don't use it on your eyes.

Ingredients List
Despite it containing alcohol, it doesn't smell funky nor does it dry up my skin.
If you have any allergies to the ingredients, just be careful.

When I use this product, depending on the amount of makeup I use on that day, I usually use either a full wipe or cut the wipes into two.

This particular wipe is 2/3 in size.

I used concealer, a powder and some eye makeup.
Cleaned it right off.

After cleaning all my makeup.
To be honest, there were still some parts that are not used because I didn't use much makeup.
I went through some areas twice, especially parts with concealer (around my cheek and forehead area).

I was also using my HG waterproof gel liners from TFS (the blue lines on the wipe) and it removed it quite well.

I also used a portion of it to clean these swatches.

There were cream eyeshadows from Essence and Catrice :D
Once set, they don't smudge.

I didn't need to use force to remove the swatches!

Swatches (Before)
and....
Swatches (After)
You can still see some glitter leftover but a few gentle wipes can clean it right off.

PROS:

-Affordable.
-Locally available.
-Doesn't irritate the skin.
-Effective in removing even waterproof makeup.
-Works well as an after wipe for cleaning remaining makeup from cream cleansers.
-Has more sheets than other brands (20 isn't much but good enough)
-Has another variant (for Eye & Lip Makeup removal) that has about the same effect.
-Refills are easily available.
-Smells pleasant.
-One wipe is good enough for the whole face.

CONS:

-Ingredients are not natural.
-Might not be good for sensitive skin.
-Cannot be used for eyes (Heheh.)
-Might not work well with heavy makeup.
-Not that moist.

Rating: 4.5/5 (I wish I can just depend on this alone but alas, I need to deep cleanse)

Will I buy this again?

Definitely, but I wanna try out some other brands maybe :D

Do I recommend this?

Yeah, it's not the priciest cleansing wipe, and it works well! If you're allergic to some of the ingredients, don't even try it lol.

Where can you find this?

At all the TheFaceShop branches, I assume.

Hope that was helpful :D
I'm just picking stuff at random for reviewing lol.

If there are any products on my blog that you're interested in a review, leave a comment!!

Have you ever used this?

'til then, take care!!!!
